Always ordered from this location...had a large order to feed a crew working on our roof and applied the so called 30% discount to your total order" paid in full online at the time order was placed. Went in to pick up and this bearded twit told me I still owe $40 sum bucks because that's what the computer box in front of him was saying. I showed him the email saying I paid in full but he didn't care less and demanded I pay. I applied the 30% discount when the order was placed , which they removed to make it where I owed the extra $40 at the time of pick up. At the time of payment I added a 20% tip which basically took away most of the savings just trying to be nice to the staff since this was a large order. But this guy didn't care ...took away the 30% off coupon. Kicker is...chief kiss if you will....taped to my pizzas when I got home to feed these guys was a flier for guess what ....30% off your entire order bla bla blah,,,I'm done....dude dint even try to make it right. I am originally from this area but currently live in Louisiana. However, I'm still in NWI monthly and this is one of my favorite pizza stops. I've had delivery, dine-in and carry out. The dine in area is fairly small but adequate for a quick bite to eat. This pizza is fresh and all the ingredients are on point. On of my favorite pizza is the BBQ chicken. The sauce has just the right amount of sweet and heat and the chicken is tender. The crew here is very experienced, professional and super friendly. So as far as chain pizza places, Dominos, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, etc Macro's is probably my favorite. The prices are comparable to PJ but IMO the pizza is better. They also will bring you a movie from Family Video (for free! If you spend like 15 bucks?) and that pretty much seals the deal for me when I decide to get a pizza delivered. I have never been dissatisfied with anything I've ordered. Which includes multiple pizzas, bread sticks, wings, the meatball bake. Haven't tried their salads yet. They are always faster than the time the quote me(usually 45 to an hour for the quote). Their drivers always seem courteous and friendly. read more

Ordered pizza tonight and my husband noticed the pizza box was infested with ants. We've never had a problem with them before. My husband went up there and they offered STORE CREDIT. Tell me again why we would want store credit from a place that just gave us a pizza with ants? No thank you!! Would've been nice to get our money back but that was to much like right. I'd just like to say the customer service is NOT great at all. When you call they speak so fast you have no idea what they're saying. And what has upset me is when I placed an order for delivery and they delivered the WRONG pizza the manger didn't seem apologetic at all. She told me they'd get it out to me "when we can"...another half hour. So I asked if I could get a soda. She said yes...yet when the pizza was delivered 45 minutes later NO BEVERAGE!!! The online ordering, especially the part which includes the rental movies from Family Video... What can you say? The convenience of having the movie and pizza delivered to your door? Brilliant!!! The pizza is good, but not the best. Hence the four stars. I do love the user interface for their website, which is not clunky or frustrating in the least, thank you for that. For me it is all about the convenience of the system which Marcos has pioneered, at least in this slice of the world. Just ordered from this place for the first time ever. The delivery driver was super quick! She was super nice, despite having issues finding the house. We got cheesy bread, wings, and a large pizza. I was excited to try Marco's when they opened. We have ordered from them several times now and have never been disappointed. We have ordered them for several parties as well and our friends who don't live in Hobart now wish they had one around them. Our favorite is the White Cheesy pizza. Their sandwiches are also awesome. Up until about 3 months ago, Marco's was great. Well made, and very little grease (we always pat our pizza down with a paper towel and usually rate a pizza based on how many paper towels we have to go through to get the excess grease off). Usually only 1 sheet of paper towel was needed, which is great for pizza. About 3 months ago, many of the usually faces I saw in there were gone. They must have new people who don't know what they are doing, or changed their ingredients to a lower quality. We would buy pizza here usually once per week. About 3 months ago, we surprisingly got a pizza that that was unusually awful. So much grease (about 7 paper towels). It was so bad, the sauce was pooling up from under the cheese. I called and complained. I was told it was due to them having just cleaned the oven. We gave it another chance about 3 weeks later (because we were kind of upset after the first bad time), and the pizza was bad again. This time, we complained again to the mgr, who said the next time we ordered, the pizza would be free. Today, we decided to redeem our free pizza. When I got there, the clerk brought the pizza to the counter. I proceeded to open it, and it was the same issue. Tons of grease, and again the sauce was pooling all around the center few inches of the pizza. I turned around a walked out. Someone really messed up a good thing in this town. They used to have adults working there. Now it is just a bunch of teenage kids. Might be the first problem right there. The manager looked like he was 16 years old. Poor Poor Poor. Won't be giving it any more chances. We're done. read more
