    Vegetable noodles with tofu wontons
    Erica T.

I discovered this fusion Asian healthy fastfood place the other day, it seems to be open since June. The owner is Korean but there are Chinese and Tibetan people working in the business too. You can taste all kinds of fresh noodles: Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese... Spicy or not, all up to your desires. Take a side dish: edamame, kimchi etc... The wontons are homemade and a must try. They serve fresh juices like carrot juice as well and they have free wi-fi. Ideal for a quick lunch. The staff is very friendly and the owner very social, speaks Flamish :). Many Asian customers so that's a good sign. Better to go early it seems, after 2pm the place got pretty crowded, and that on a Monday. Check my pics for further info ;)

    Plastic pieces in my pho.

Found these two pieces of plastic in my soup after biting hard on them and hurting my teeth. I got the chicken pho delivered to the place I'm staying at, here in Bruges. It was pretty tasty, but biting into plastic on two separate bites really sucks.

Nasty beef noodle soup. Don't order it

Great food, huge portions, reasonable price and even a 10% discount for the take-out. Friendly and helpful staff.

I got the one recommended by my waiter, the creamy veggie miso Ramen, and the lower right corner of the menu. This one is not spicy. Next time I come, I will try one of the spicy ones. I got the lychee soda, which is a little too subtle for my taste, but I find that it grows on you. They also have Kirin on draft as well as bottles of Heineken and a 0% Heineken. And of course they have green tea as well as the usual stuff. Ok, the food: these are freshly-made japanese noodles. That means there's a wait for your food, and in my experience, it was substantial. Don't come here if you're in a hurry. This experience may be a one-off, as the waiter apologized for the wait and brought me a free refill of the lychee soda. The noodles were fine, a substantial meal with lots of vegetables in the soup. I added some soy sauce as it was pretty bland. Next time I would ask for some of their black garlic oil. I would come back, if only to try the spicy dish (they describe the spicy sauce as "numbing"!), but I think this place would be great for meat eaters.

Exceptional food and service!…read more I got spring rolls and bun bo hue, both with tofu. The bun bo hue was DELICIOUS - flavorful, not oily, right amount of spicy, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It was a nice surprise to have a good authentic Vietnamese meal in Brussels that is better than New York City. If I lived here, I'd be a regular. It appears to be a husband and wife owned business - hubby runs the front and wifey runs the kitchen. It is made to order, so it takes some time for the food, but you won't mind after that first bite nom nom NOM.

Some of these dishes I haven't had since visiting Hanoi a few years ago. And boy did this bring me back. I could easily pack it all up and move to Hanoi. The people, the food, the countryside. Well considering how many Vietnamese places are in the Bay Area, this one in Brussels, is the one that rekindled the smells the tastes and ambiance of being in Hanoi, minus the miniature plastic tables and stools made for kids.) not phat ass American hynies) Nem oh Nem! Roasted pork, wrapped with sprouts scallions, carrots, and vermicelli over a rice wrapper then deep fried. Eaten wrapped in a bit of lettuce Thai basil dunked in fish sauce. Damn!!!!!!! Service a bit slow as there is only one guy for the whole shop. But man! 2 legit 2 quit!
