The wine was good, the service even better and I would love to return in summers when the place is a little more green. We got the wine flight and enjoyed almost all of them . Our server even gave us a complimentary wine by the end of our tasting . She was so great and walked us through the history of the owner and the vineyard and even made us meet him in-person. It was a chilly but sunny day and the heaters in the patio really helped make it cozy . I was not impressed by the Charcuterie but the wines more than made up for it . If you are a fan of Italian wines , this would definitely be a good place to come to .

Cute winery near hood river with very cozy Italian vibes. Only docking a star because our server seemed really distracted and never really came to check up on us. We had to ask a different server to check on our charcuterie board (which seems like our og server forgot to put in?) good wines and cute space for an indoor/outdoor feel when it's cold but you still want to kind of be outside. Lots of fire tables too.

Frist of al Isaac was a great server. The wine was excellent. Enough so that we joined the wine club here. The Charcuterie board was excellent. Definitely recommend if you like wine and atmosphere while you drink excellent wines

Loved my afternoon here, perfect place to catch up with friends! Excellent wine, and the charcuterie board was nice. If you are gluten free or vegetarian/pescatarian it'll be a very small snack as they don't have substitutes. Cozy with heaters and closed in areas. It was very pleasant and pretty quiet. Everyone was very friendly, bought a couple bottles to go - check out was a breeze!

I visited a few wineries on the way to Mt. Hood, Marchesi Vineyard was by far my favorite. While it doesn't have a view of Mt Hood the setup is absolutely perfect! The seating areas are between the rows and rows of vines. It's absolutely picturesque! My friend & I split a bottle of moscato. It was wasn't the sweetest moscato, but it was still yummy. We also ordered the small charcuterie board - perfect for two people! Date night or girls trip, this place is a must!

Went there with my wifey on the last warm weekend in October, because I saw that my former colleague went there. We went early to beat the crowds. It is just a beautiful vineyard operated by a Italian from Piedmont. Plenty of parking, good service. A phenomenal tasting charcuterie board and outstanding wine. I bought two bottles and we will be back.

This beautiful winery has done an amazing job during Covid creating lots of safe, intimate seating area allowing guests to sit practically amongst the vineyard or on the patio. Some sections have comfy couches or a seat swing; others are chairs around a table. There are out door heaters to take the chill out of the air allowing you to enjoy a flight or bottle in the open, fresh air. Once seated, you go to the ordering window to place and take your order back to your seating area. In addition to wine, they have a great meat, cheese and baguette plate. I saw that others brought their own picnic items, which is a huge plus that they allow this. Since they are famous for their Barbera, I went for a glass rather than do a flight. Sitting amongst the grapevines, enjoying my delicious wine as the sun set was the perfect ending to a perfect Halloween in Hood River.

A+ perfect. Delicious wines in a breathtaking setting. Sit with friends on a sofa or swing or enjoy an intimate private area. It was 98 and the misters were beyond lovely. The staff is very kind. Highly recommend going in a week day or earlier on a weekend as the place can get packed. Do not miss when in Hood River

Okay so the wine was 4 star easily. Mostly good. I love an Italian wine. Service was 1 star. One. Our server said here is the menu, we said 4 tastings and she came back with the 4 carafes, 4 glasses and told us "these are to share" they are each of the four wines from the tasting menu. And bailed. I asked her to pay, as we were time constricted thanks to the "wine tour" we were with and she looked at me when I was trying to catch her attention and just kept walking. I had to almost shout at the host who got her to come over so we could pay. And three of the girls bought wine. The service put me off. I don't know if I would want to go back because though the wine was good, I have had a lot of good wine. I can get it with pleasant service and without a feeling of being hassled.

Amazing in every way, wish we lived closer so we could enjoy it on a regular basis. Our favorite wine was the Emma Sangiovese.

So glad we picked Marchesi Vineyards for our afternoon wine tasting. The staff is amazing and the grounds beautiful. Get the gazebo seating if you can. They are private and have a gorgeous view of the vineyards. We ordered the tasting flight and charcuterie board. I enjoyed all five wines. My daughter and her boyfriend liked almost all of them. The cheese on the board was delicious and had us fighting over the last piece. There are two resident winery puppies that kept escaping the house and coming over to visit. We didn't mind one bit and welcomed them. We also saw a couple kitties that allowed brief pets. Would visit again next time we're in the area.

Such an awesome spot! We stumbled upon it during a January Hood River day. Most other wineries and farms are closed during this time (which we didn't know) so we came here and it was the best. Converted outdoor patio into an enclosed, cozy space with lots of nooks to sit at. The wine was okay, but the ambiance was awesome. Will be back in the summer!

There was plenty of parking, though the road up is very steep, so make sure your E-brake is working! There are two outdoor seating areas, one just outside the main entrance, and one overlooking the river. The area overlooking the river is not open to people just tasting, but it looked like the perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The interior tasting room (where we sat) is luxurious while still being comfortable. The ambiance of the entire place is lovely, and there is beautiful art and charming knick-knacks everywhere. I was pleased to see all of the pride flags-- it's cool to know you're drinking in a safe place. The woman pouring also let us know that the winery has a literary/witchy theme, which I thought was fun and an excellent conversation-starter. The wine was good. I like German varietals, and this place clearly knows how to do them well! The Gruner was my favorite, and we ended up getting an extra taste of the early harvest to compare to the mid-season, which was lovely. We also got an extra pour of some bubbles because someone else had ordered a glass. The woman pouring was incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable, and even had the winemaker herself come and chat with us for a moment. Tastings were $25 for a decent pour of 5 wines (though we ended up tasting 7) and they come with a little cheese/olive plate to boot! I was very impressed by the experience offered here. It seems this winery also does a number of events, which I am looking forward to attending. This was an amazing find, and I highly recommend you drive the extra 15 minutes out of Hood River/White Salmon if you are visiting to taste.

Fast forward, we planned a stop at Loop De Loop after hiking Multnomah and Wahkeena Falls. It was one of the best surprises of the whole trip to Oregon. I expected Loop De Loop to be a small, modest vineyard and instead I discovered an absolutely stunning vineyard nestled in the picturesque hills of the Columbia Valley. I opted for the full tasting and I'm so glad I did. I really enjoyed the breadth and diversity of the wine offerings. And the wine is made organically!!! We actually enjoyed the wine and experience at Loop De Loop more than any vineyard we visited in Williamette Valley. We also tried the cheese plate and tinned fish, which were delicious. The venue has indoor and outdoor seating. I love the decor and art throughout the building. Service was really good. I dont recall the name of the young woman with red hair helping us out, but she was fantastic. This place gets pretty busy so I recommend reservations. Definitely check it out! Even if you're in Portland, it's worth the quick trek into Washington.

The wines were the star of our experience. WINE: 5.0. The certified wine expert among us could take only 2 bottles back with her to Japan from the 11 WA and OR wineries we visited during our road trip: one of her choices was a Savage Grace Cabernet Franc. SERVICE: 4.5. Michael Savage was the sole server, and thus we were able to talk directly with the winemaker. We appreciated his unpolished explanations about the style of wines he strives for, and about his vineyards and winery. He also pointed us to a great viewpoint a few minutes away. AMBIANCE: 4.5. We sat outside next to some production equipment; somewhat rustic, and with a nice view of the Columbia Gorge.

Let me start by saying the quality of wine and the view are the only reason I gave it a 2 star review. When we arrived we were fully aware of their 2 bottle purchase policy if you do a tasting. Which you should be aware of if visiting. There was a group of 5 of us, 2 who were prepared to purchase at least 4 bottles and do the tasting, 1 who doesn't drink and wanted to see the views, and 2 designated drivers for 2 cars. First the lady asked if we had reservations which we did not. The place was nearly empty with just one other couple. She then proceeded to say before we start you let's make sure our winery is a good fit for you and then began to interrogate us about those not drinking. She tried to push smaller pours with what they call a designated driver plan for the designated drivers which we declined. Still not seated through an interrogation of our intentions, she pushed the DD plan on our 3rd person who said she felt we weren't going to get seated if she didn't accept. The tasting was super slow and took almost 2 hours. We've visited numerous wineries but this is a first where they tried to push alcohol on the designated driver. The condescending way we were greeted and treated is not worth the ok tasting wine and spectacular views. We will not be back with our next winery excursion in the Hood River area.

We were thrilled to be there on one of the first sunny days in a very rainy 2022 Spring, so we sat on the sunny patio with the bright blue skies and native plants as the backdrop. We were greeted with a glass of Cab Franc Rose, which I had never had before, and we both really enjoyed it. We selected the flight since it was our first time having COR wine and we wanted a variety. The flight arrives in a tin bucket with individual carafes of each pour. There were four plus a complimentary pour, so three whites and two reds. Of the whites, the Cab Fran Rose remained my fave and I also enjoyed the Pinot Gris which was crisp and light. I'm a fan of big, bold reds but because of the sun, the red wines got so hot that we couldn't drink them which was really unfortunate. They did include a small bag of ice in the bucket to keep the wines cool but it was no match for the sun. Next time, even if I am tempted by the sun, I will select a seating area in the shade so we can enjoy all of the wines in the tasting. To round out our experience, we ordered the charcuterie for $35. COR continues to be very careful with Covid protocols so the charcuterie is a kit that you put together. Olympic Provisions salami, a box of hearty crackers, Marcona almonds and casteveltrano olives in mason jars, and a soft cheese were provided; all delicious. Service was warm and friendly, they answered our questions thoroughly. Some customers like to have the staff pour each taste and explain the wine; at COR you pour your own and info on the wines is provided on a card. I prefer it this way so I can drink at my speed and our conversation isn't continuously interrupted with a description of the next wine. Everyone has their own preference but this style works for me. Will definitely be back!
