When I explained the situation, the employees were rude, aggressive, and completely lacking empathy. They forced me to pay for something I could not consume, and one employee even commented that "the problem with the United States is that customers have too much power and abuse it." They then used my birthday coupon to cover the item without handling the situation professionally or respectfully. The entire experience felt humiliating and completely unacceptable for a business that depends on customer loyalty. Be careful with this store.

The staff will warm up the cookie for you if you like, ensuring it's perfectly warm and ready to eat. There's a good range of flavors to suit every palate, and my personal favorite is the peanut butter. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming, but there have been a few instances where I had to wait a few minutes to be greeted and assisted due to a lack of staff and the staff being in the back. The cookies are priced at $2 each and are not too big or too small, making them a great option for satisfying a sweet craving without overindulging. Since there are no seats in the store, you'll have to enjoy your cookies elsewhere. And if you're like me, you'll probably finish them in the car. I love that they are open late to 10pm daily. Note: There are no discounts for purchasing in larger quantities of a dozen or so. It's still $2 for each cookie.

I saw the light about Freddy, and much like actress Diane Kruger, I now love this chain. If you fingered this as the best burger in Houston, then I guess Freddy Got Fingered. One of the best American chains there is. The steakburgers are phenomenal. By fast food standards, they're second to none. They're considerably better than In N Out, which are themselves better than most fast food outlets. I don't support chains, although this one isn't as widespread as most, but if you're going to eat at a chain, make sure it's delicious - like Freddy's. Their custard (both chocolate and vanilla) is second to none, thick, heavenly, midwest style. Their burgers are magnificent and I'd recommend them to anyone. Probably one of the best fast food burgers you'll ever eat, especially if you limit yourself to chains. For non-chains in Houston, you'll want to try Lankford Grocery, for starters.
