Wow is all I have to say! Working with Marathon was probably the easiest transaction I've ever had. I sent out a Yelp request around 5pm last night and they were out here this morning getting our insulation done for us. We are in the middle of some home renovation projects and I have our stucco guys on stand by so having them come and get this done for us ASAP was awesome! They were very nice guys, cleaned up after all their work and got this done for us a just a few hours. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family and we are likely gonna have them come back out to insulate our attic after we finish up with the stucco work. 10 outta 10 for Marathon and 2 thumbs up! Thanks guys for everything. read more

Our LADWP bill got ridiculous this summer with our electricity costs going thru the roof. Looked at a lot of solutions and I know Solar tends to be the default but didn't find getting and oversized system just to keep AC running was the best solution. Went down the path and looked at a lot of different Insulation companies and there was one that really stood above the rest and it wasn't even close. So glad I went with Marathon Insulation. Yelp reviews are not long enough to express how great Jonathan was to work with in our insulation journey. He has a great team, is an expert in what he is doing and I'm actually impressed with how much of a substantial difference the insulation has made not only with keeping our house more comfortable and the heating/cooling but also with the sound proofing it adds. Extremely grateful customer with Marathon Insulation. Thanks Jonathan, Ralph and team! read more

They did an amazing job with a tough attic and even though it was probably more work than they bargained for the price remained the same and they cleaned up so nicely after. Can't recommend enough read more

I had a great experience working with this company. They were super responsive and offered competitive pricing. I had three people come in remove all the old insulation seal all the gaps and install R 38 batts. they did a fantastic job. The home feels better already. I will be recommending them to my closest friends and family. read more

Our house was built in 1956 and has not been maintaining comfortable temperatures inside. With further investigation I found that it was no longer insulated well. I thought the best way to deal with the issue was to find a company that blows insulation in as I did not want to remove drywall. I'm happy I called Marathon Insulation. They were professional and fast. They also blew insulation into my attic as the existing insulation was worn down. I've seen up to a 12 degree difference in some rooms and the difference was noticed right away. read more

Don't you just love the feeling when you follow your gut, try somebody new and things turn even better than you expected? That was exactly the case with Jonathan. Not only he replied really fast, was super punctual and courteous but also had the best price of all the quotes I received for replacing the insulation in the attic of my house. Things couldn't have gone any smoother, so I'm not surprised he's in such a high demand. Totally recommend him and his crew! read more

I hired Marathon for insulation removal. They were on time and on point. They did an excellent job, reasonably priced and I highly recommend them. read more

We've had Jonathan and crew complete two jobs for us- the first we had him fill two walls with blown in insulation- the walls were so poorly insulated beforehand that they felt warm to the touch when the sun was on them. The insulation made a huge difference in keeping that room cool. Scheduling and communication was super easy and Jonathan is very friendly. Was able to give me a quote after a quick conversation. We also had our roof done and the attic was a total disaster afterward. Jonathan came out, cleared out the debris and the old insulation, sanitized and treated the space and then blew in new insulation. The thing that really impressed me was how careful they were with dust- they taped a path from the attic to the front door and totally contained the dust. I am SUPER appreciative of that. Highly recommend this company, we will be calling them for any additional insulation needs. read more

Jonathan and his team did an amazing job insulating our attic with R38 Blown In Cellulose! He was very responsive, kind and transparent in insulation differences/needs during the entire process and we are highly satisfied with the results. Our home is significantly better at retaining heat during the cold mornings and throughout the day. We highly recommend them for your insulation needs. Thank you!! read more

I don't write many Yelp reviews, but taking time to write one for Jonathan and the crew of Marathon Insulation is the least I can do for a job super well done. I discovered via Yelp and used the built-in Yelp Project Management tool to communicate, which was really easy and Jonathan always super prompt in response time and project scheduling. Jonathan detailed all parts of the project, materials used, quality and safety of insulation, and they did SUCH A INCREDIBLE JOB of insulating our attic space and doing some insulation injection. You won't find a more thoughtful and helpful group of guys. My house is now finally more temperature stable and Jonathan was right in the difference everything would make. Definitely already considering more work just because of how trustworthy Marathon is in their business. Very fair and reasonable price too. Makes you feel really good about the whole thing. I'm sure there are other good Insulation companies in the 805 / SoCal zone, but I'm confident you won't find any better than Marathon. Thanks again guys! read more

Marathon was one of four companies from whom I requested estimates to insulate our subfloor. Owner Jonathan was the most organized, responsive, and professional of any of the people with whom I spoke as I was collecting bids. What's more, his quote was easily the lowest, Marathon was available to do the job almost right away, AND they have nothing but positive reviews on any reviewing site or platform. Why WOULDN'T I go with Marathon? We will likely hire them again to replace our attic insulation. read more

I would like to start off by acknowledging the punctuality and integrity that this company stands by. They not only provide excellent outcomes but they will teach you about the products along the way which demonstrates true understanding/ process of insulation. After having a bad experience with a previous company, Marathon Insulation went above and beyond my husband's and my expectations. Trust me when I say you won't regret contracting them. They have my highest recommendation! read more

The guys at MI were great all around. They did the blow in insulation in my attic. Up front, fair, competitive pricing. They were very professional, on time, no hidden fees, and a job well done. I would highly recommend! read more

The workers arrived on time, finished on time and did a good job. The stucco patches looked good. They cleaned up after themselves before leaving. We had the walls insulated and didn't really expect to notice anything but we did. The home was significantly quieter and the furnace turns on a little less frequently. One of the walls cracked on the inside, probably due to poor drywall nailing. He was going to have someone come down and repair it but I decided to accept a discount and do the repair myself. I put the money towards insulating the garage, which wasn't in the original plan. read more

I just used Marathon Insulation for injection insulation this week and it was by far one of the smoothest and easiest contract jobs I've seen. The free estimate was quick, timely and straightforward. Everything was broken down very simply. They were available for us very quickly as well, so scheduling was a great experience. They were punctual and fast, and their finishing work after the holes were filled was top notch. The staff was friendly and got the job done efficiently. I'm definitely recommending them anytime someone needs injection insulation. read more

These guys are super honest and forthright. There's no sales presentation meeting. They have set pricing and don't surprise you with add-ons. They show up when they are scheduled and get the job done on time. They are very respectful of your property and work to minimize any inconvenience. They are great with communication and text photos of their progress and finished work. I have hired them to clean, repair and insulate three of my properties. They are my first choice for any future attic insulation needs. read more

STOP READING NOW AND CALL THIS COMPANY. The lack of insulation was creating havoc in our home. Summers too hot, Winters too cold unless we ran the Furnace/AC all the time. This was a direct result of very little insulation. Marathon and Jonathan came in and did a fantastic job getting me up to code and that very night we felt a HUGE difference. I checked with 10 different companies and Marathon was the best price and highest quality. So extra sales, no pushy tactics, they were in and out in 2 hours. Left the house clean and no trace of them being there......except for the nice warm living spaces we now have. I will be hiring them again to do additional insulation work in the walls, but for now and big THANK YOU!!! read more

Happy I came across Jonathan, Ralph, and his team on Yelp. The 5 stars are a true reflection of the work they do. We had a pretty bad rodent issue along with being overdue for an attic insulation upgrade. The insulation part went smoothly but the rodent issue persisted for a while even after they closed up some holes. But thank goodness for these guys, they happily came back multiple times to check up on the attic and address the rodent issue until they felt satisfied. So far we've been rodent free and everything sounds/looks normal. Would recommend these guys to anyone! read more

I sent Jonathan a message and he got back to me right away with a quote. He was very straight forward. He came over the next day and rechecked my measurements because I make mistakes often. I decided to not just do my attic but also insulate my walls. What a difference. The house is more comfortable and the sound has diminished. His team did a great job. They also sealed the stucco, where other companies don't and we're so clean. Also I have crazy rescue chihuahua's and don't like a lot of people as they have been abused. Well my dogs loved them. One was running around in circles in the backyard for them. They were careful to never leave a door open and would double check. When they dogs loved them I knew I called the right team. I would highly recommend them and tell all my neighbors about them. The price is great but the quality is even better! read more

It's easy to see why Marathon has all 5-star reviews. After getting estimates from 8 different companies, Marathon offered us by far the best price for insulation removal. Jonathan was responsive, organized, knowledgeable, and really great with scheduling and communication. Their work was done properly, quickly, and as promised. They gave a competitive bid, arrived on time, did the work, and done. This is how easy all construction work should be. I was surprised how much less often the heater turned on and yet the house stayed at a more even and comfortable temperature. read more

Jonathan and his team were on time and very easy to work with, no attitude of any kind. They came and completed their job on time . Jonathan was able to give us a very straight forward upfront quote, which was fair. He was very responsive to all the message over yelp or text. Very flexible with scheduling too. Thank you jonathan and team. read more

I'm so happy with this project.. the quality of work, the price, communication and demeanor of the team were all excellent. I did drill-and-fill insulation on the two sides of my house that get the most sun and it's made a massive difference. The worst rooms are at least 10 degrees cooler than they used to be at peak heat, if not more. This is absolutely worth it. Jonathan was incredibly responsive thru Yelp messaging and answered all my questions. The price quoted was very reasonable, and then he even beat it after measuring the day of. The texture match of my stucco was perfect, and cleanup was thorough. Highly recommend! read more

Used Marathon Insulation a couple of months ago for our ADU in Northridge. Let me tell you, they are the definition of excellence. Quick response time to my initial inquiry, came out right away ON TIME for a free estimate. Pricing was affordable, delivered on time, and went above and beyond onsite when installing. 5 stars is not enough! The world would be a better place if all contractors were like them. I requested marathon to insulate my attic. I live in an old house so I wanted to add some cellulose insulation to help keep the cold air in during the summer.
