Marathon did an amazing job replacing our attic insulation. The bid was very reasonable and they provided updates as the job was in progress, provided photos upon finishing the job and let me look in the attic myself to see the work. They were quick and efficient, and very informational, and professional. I highly recommend them. read more

Update: a few weeks ago, I texted Jonathan that we had some insulation falling from the air vents. He stopped by our house the next day. We had a disconnected duct and also had signs of rats. I should mention that Marathon Insulation only did the insulation for one of our attics. Our other attic was newer and didn't need to be redone. Unfortunately, the people who flipped our house that we bought took some shortcuts on things and left open an area that opens to the attic on the roof. Jonathon reconnected the duct and also got up on our roof to seal our house. He did this work completely complimentary. It was so awesome of him and just honestly so above and beyond. I had to update my review to say that I was very happy with Marathon Insulation before and now after this experience am just beyond impressed. By the way, our pest control company stopped by the next day and set out traps. No more rats! read more

Everything everyone says about this company and owner in the other reviews is 100% true. He got ack to right away, set up a time the next day to give me an estimate. He was right on time and explained the process, answered my questions and measured out everything and gave me an estimate right then and there. I called him back later that day and setup a time to come do the work. When the day came for them to come and do the insulation, again on time, the guys were al very friendly and they did a great job and fixed any and all holes they had to do on the inside as well as some we had to do on the outside. I would recommend them over and over. Just amazing! read more

Jonathan and his team did a great job with our insulation. We opted for the complete clean up of old installation and added new blown in insulation this past November, just before the cold s season kicked in. We had just had a new hvac system installed and wanted to ensure we were able to maintain a constant temperature. Our home was built in the 1920's and though previous owners had done some work, the insulation definitely needed to be changed. The months later, we have noticed are heater downs t come on as frequently as last year and our utility bills have actually decreased. Looking forward to summer and see how offer we need to use the AC. Overall we're very happy with the work they did and would definitely recommend them. read more

True professionals in every way! Johnathan was the first to respond to my inquiry and came out the next morning on time. He's honest and true to his work. I received multiple quotes and Johnathan was by far the only one I felt comfortable with. Other companies sent sales reps and couldn't answer many of my questions. Johnathan, on the other hand worked on site with his team and got the job done quickly and thoroughly. Johnathan promptly answered any questions I had before I committed to his service. I can't recommend he and his team enough. Thank you! read more

AMAZING is the one word I have to describe working with Marathon installation. I always have low expectations but high hopes when I hire a company to do work at my house. Hope for the best is my motto, that is why having a truly professional team of people provide quality services at a fair price is such a blessing! I found Marathon Insulation on YELP and called them. Jonathan responded promptly and came out to estimate the job of insulating my mid-century house with no wall insulation. Their bid was very fair, so I scheduled the work within the week. Jonathan sent a text reminder the night before the job, perfect timing. They showed up on time and the MI team could not have been nicer and more respectful of my personal things and my property. They work quickly laying down protective film, and drilling the small holes for the blown insulation. Then they seal the hole with a styrofoam cap and a thin coat of plaster on top of that. They even suggested a wonderful plaster / painter to come to do the final patch and paint. I was fearful working with someone new, but they far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and YELP contacts!! read more

I was so happy with my experience. I reached out to get an estimate on insulating my exterior walls and attic. Johnathan quickly responded and came out the following day to look at the job. He was able to explain my options and give me an estimate on the spot. I received 3 other estimates and no one was able to beat what is company had to offer. He was able to schedule me within a couple weeks. The best part was that he was able to complete the job while I was at work which made my life easier. Johnathan and his team did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves and keeping everything professional. They made completely this project easy. The quality of their work looks great. My house is no longer freezing at night so we use the heater less. I appreciate how transparent this company is. Thanks I will definitely recommend this company to anyone in the future. read more

Jonathan responded back to me very quickly and he gave me the lowest quote for blow-in cellulose to an attic. He also told me not to forget about tax credit no matter what company I chose. Jonathan did an incredible job from start to finish. I recently bought my first home, a 120 year old Craftsman in the valley with an attic like a furnace and a rodent problem to boot. He showed up and 2 weeks later delivered full rodent proofing and full insulation. After vacuuming out all the old insulation and rodent droppings and sanitizing the space, they got to work with the insulation and rodent proofing. There were a lot of inaccessible attic / roof spaces, his team took care to cut access hatches or small cellulose spray holes (all of which he explained in advance when he came out for his initial consult). A common problem with spray insulation is covering up the crawl/walkways and making it hard for any future workers. I asked Jonathan if he could clear a path to save future workers trouble and he immediately fixed it without a second thought. On the rodent front, he installed grates and spray foam over all the obvious access points. This included cutting a small access hatch into the space above the en-suite master bath where the bathroom vent lived and putting grate/mesh over it, as well as spray foaming a PVC entry into the attic which had a big gap surrounding it. I was a little skeptical going in, insulation / attic work is easy to cut corners since it's a dirty job that clients usually don't bother to inspect, but I can tell he goes above and beyond for his customers. 10/10 would hire again. Fantastic work Jonathan & team! read more

All of the positive reviews are well deserved! We initially brought Jonathan and his team in to do drill-and-fill insulation for our exterior walls. It was such a good experience that we ended up using him to insulate our attic and add insulation and soundproofing to our garage so that it could be turned into a music room for our drums-loving son. Jonathan's prices were extremely fair, communication was great, and he completed the work super-fast. He's also one of the nicest human beings you'll ever meet. Highly, highly recommended! read more

Did insulation twice with these guys and both times were impressive! We had our attic cleaned, rodent proof and insulation done a couple of months back and they did a great job and were quick. This time around we had 1 room insulated. They drilled the holes, filled with insulation and patched the holes up after. We had some decals and stuff hanging on the walls and they were considerate to drill the holes around it. The price was also reasonable and within my budget! If I were to need more insulation jobs in the future done, I would definitely call them again! read more

Amazing job done be them, responds back and great communication, And as far as Value no other company can beat them.

I had two very informative conversations with Jonathan. His reviews and prices were great. I decided to go with him, even though he didn't seem to want to see my house first (he was busy with business post-fires in Eaton and Pacific Palisades). He asked me to text him the date we settled on and my address. No response---no confirmation, no answering my questions, nothing. I double checked the phone number. He didn't show up date we scheduled and he has still not responded to texts. I guess he just didn't want my business after all. read more

Jonathon from Marathon was very responsive. He accommodated our needs in spite of it being a small project. He worked with us both in terms of scheduling the work, and where they did the actual installation within the house. We sought the insulation for an interior wall between two rooms. It made a difference, but as Jonathon told us in advance, it's not 100%. Still the reduction in sound volume between the rooms was worth it for us. read more

Marathon was fantastic. Jonathan was prompt to come out and estimate the work and was straight forward and honest. Did not try to upsell me or anything and delivered the service I needed. Jonathan and his team were great! My electric bill was soaring (over $300 a month). I chose Marathon over one of the bigger "sales" like companies. Jonathan didn't try to upsell me in anyway, I appreciated that. He originally suggested I didn't need a full clean out and I could save money that way. I did more research and opted for a full clean out of attic and batts insulation. His team completed the job is about 6 hours which was great. They were clean and cleaned up after themselves. It's hard work that they're doing and I appreciate their professionalism. Good job Jonathan! read more

Johnathon and his team were on time and did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend their services.

Today we used Marathon insulation to replace the old rubbish of insulation that was in our attic and the service we got was amazing from when Jonathan provided an estimate to when they finished installation. We liked the fact we were able to provide the square footage of our home and obtain an estimate over yelp. It was none of that "We need to come out and do and estimate" like the other companies and the price was still the same regardless. They removed the old blown in insulation with care, leaving our home clean. Not a speck of dust or debris was left behind. They also had an industrial filtered fan going just in case if any debris left the attic. The staff was very friendly, professional, informed us of every step, and one even took interest in our frenchies and mentioned he got one for his family. This made us feel comfortable about their work. Also, I asked Jonathan if he would be able to remove some old wiring from our old security camera system and he was able to do the task which prevented us having to climb in there. The outcome of their work is amazing and of quality. We decided to go with padded insulation because the blown it material is messy. The company does both. We highly recommend Marathon insulation and couldn't be satisfied with the results they delivered. Check out the photos to see the results. read more

After talking with several attic clean out and insulation, wall insulation companies, I decided to go with Marathon Insulation. Johnathan was very helpful and professional, gave the best choices for my issues, without trying to upsell like some of the others. After getting the attic and walls insulated (with attic clean out) I can already feel the heat stay in the rooms much longer and the walls much less cold to the touch before. I highly recommend Marathon Insulation! They were always on time, delivered as promised, and cleaned up after. read more

I contacted Marathon Insulation based on the many great reviews. My home attic was in desperate need of new insulation, and I wanted to insulate my garage roof as well. Jonathan replied quickly with pricing information and answered other questions I had over Yelp, and when I ready to move forward he came out the next day to inspect and provide a quote. A couple of days later his crew arrived and cleaned out the old worthless insulation and installed the new insulation, including a fan to remove heat buildup in the attic. It was very hot that day and must have been miserable to work up there, but the guys toughed it out and finished in 5-6 hours. They next day they came back and did my garage in the morning which took less time. They took care to put down cloth tarps to walk on in the house, and cover up things with plastic to minimize any dirt or debris. They had one little mishap when a workers foot when through the ceiling. An unfortunate accident, but Jonathan wasted no time to get a painter out to repair and paint the drywall the next day and it looked good as new, like it never happened. I understand that accidents like this can happen, and since Jonathan made sure it was repaired quickly and professionally with no additional cost to me I'm still leaving a 5-star review. read more

We were in need of insulation on a portion of the wall the builder failed to install insulation. Marathon Insulation was quick to respond and give us a fair quote.
