Years ago, I used to love going to 7-Eleven. There's just something about this particular location--it's right on the corner, gets a lot of business, and it's one of the few 7-Eleven locations in our local area where you can also get gas. I recently moved back into town and stopped by this 7-Eleven after not being there for years. Something happened that really surprised me. My card wasn't working properly, and I ended up being about $1.25 short on my purchase. I was already prepared to put my item back when the employee behind the counter said, "Don't worry about it. You can pay me next time you come in." Wow. How often does something like that happen these days? Not very often! That small act of kindness meant a lot to me. These employees didn't even know me--I had been gone for years--and yet they were willing to help me out over $1.25. I want the people of Federal Way to know that there are still people out there who are willing to show kindness and look out for others. I absolutely intend to pay that $1.25 back as soon as possible! The store itself was clean, has great parking, gas, grocery items, soft drinks, prepared food, pizza, hot dogs, and plenty more. It's a convenient place to stop, but what really stood out to me was the kindness I experienced. I want to give this 7-Eleven five stars, but more importantly, I want to give the employees my sincere appreciation. You deserve recognition for the way you treated me. It seems like the code was used during the first transaction before it was canceled, so I lost my redemption because of a checkout error.
