Cajun Boneless Wings with Spinach and Artichoke Dip in the back
Claudia E.

I've been meaning to try this place, since it's a two minute walk from me. The location is super convenient and in a really cute area that is getting developed. I can see this being a frequent spot for me! We took advantage of the outdoor seating on a nice night, trying to be extra cautious because of COVID. All the staff we saw had masks on, which was very reassuring. The food itself was a little underwhelming. We started with the spinach artichoke dip. The dip itself was kind of flat, but it came with two different types of chips. The yellow ones are regular tortilla chips, and the green ones are more wheat-based tasting. I really liked these, they had a nice soft crunch and taste. For entrees, I ordered the Cajun boneless wings. These were okay. My boyfriend ordered the Maraschinos Club with fries. The club had a generous portion of meat in it, and the fries were a really nicely crunchy/soft mixture and seasoned well. Not pictured are a pair of burgers that the other people in my party ordered. These seem overhyped by the menu. The bread-to-patty ratio seemed way too high, and the meat seemed kind of dry (to be fair, they were ordered medium-well and well-done, which no one should ever do). They have a nice beer selection and some cool looking cocktails. They also host events like trivia night and love music nights. I'm looking forward to these if COVID ever dies down!

In far western Wayne County there is a neotraditional development that gives you that small town feel named Cherry Hill Village, which is a really nice place to live in especially if you like a place with the look of a small hamlet, harking back to early 1900s. Cherry Hill used to be named "Ridge" since its position was atop the ridge shore of an ancient lake many moons ago. Likewise, this area was stop on the stagecoach route from Ypsilanti north through Milford, and points beyond. Passengers could stop at the local tavern to whet their whistle and wash down the road dust. While the stagecoach lines that served the area vanished in the 1920s with coming of the Automobile Age; you can stop in Maraschino's Pub to refresh yourself with a cold drink when thermometer is pushing the century mark during those "dog days of summer." I have been into Maraschino's a few times for lunch and dinner, and I have never been disappointed. The service is fast and food is delivered hot from the kitchen. Sadly, I have never tried the pizza that this place serves, but I plan on rectifying that in the near future. That being said, being right next door to the Canton Village Theater, makes this pub an ideal place stop in to enjoy some food before or after any performance. Mostly, I have enjoyed the various burgers and sandwiches that Maraschino's serves. They make a killer club sandwich that is out of this world, and if you have a weakness for great tasting bacon like I do, this place rocks it! This is some of the best tasting bacon I have enjoyed in ages. So, if you love pizza, great food, or a pleasant atmosphere, then Maraschino's is the place to visit.

Good sliders!

Casual restaurant in the heart of cherry hill village. I've been a few times and haven't been disappointed. I love their sliders, pizza, and Reuben sandwich! They have a variety of casual type items... burgers, pizza, tacos, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, etc. They offer a full bar and the prices are reasonable for drinks. They have a nice happy hour special. Service has always been friendly, but can be a tad slow. It can get REALLY loud.... They have plenty of parking. I recommend!

Cranberry Walnut Salad substitute salmon instead of Chicken

A great restaurant especially if you are attending a show at Cherry Hill Village Theater. It is next door and my friend found this restaurant for us to dine at. It is very popular and has a lot of good choices to eat. Pizza is a popular item here and it looked very good. I also seen sandwiches that looked tasty also. We started with pretzel bites with beer cheese as an appetizer which was very filling and had a lot of them. We had the speakeasy punch with only the pineapple juice( allergic to oranges) and it was a perfect blend. I like margaritas also but they didn't have a frozen option so that is why I went with the punch. There also was a sweet drink on the menu but we decided not to try it and our waitress recommended against it as it wasn't a good complement to our menu choices. She definitely was right on that one. My friend chose the Buffalo chicken salad and I picked the Cranberry Walnut chicken salad and substituted the salmon. We both were very pleased with our salads and would order them again. After the show, we noticed they had live music, this was a Friday night.

$18 for a 16" pizza with two toppings --don't split toppings, you're charged full price

I had hope . . . Our first visit was many months ago, and although the service was painfully slow, the pizza was good, so we decided to order carryout one night. That pizza was very literally the worst pizza I've ever tried to eat from any pizza place in existence. I contacted the manager and they replaced the pizza at no cost the next time we ordered, which was appreciated because we threw that pizza away without even eating one slice. Yes, that bad. I've never done that before. Ever. The next pizza was average and good. The next time we ate at Maraschino's we ordered burgers. Service was again exceedingly slow, but at least we got to sit outside on the sidewalk on a nice day. The burgers were a little overdone, but pretty good overall. The fries were typical frozen bar food. The time after this we had slow service again on a night when the bar was mostly empty. We split a few appetizers (typical bar food) and ordered drinks. Our waitress was super friendly, which helped because the kitchen held us up. Anyway . . . the visit today will indeed be my last. The menu says a 16" cheese pizza is $12 and each extra topping is $2 (with the exception of several items they deem premium). I ordered this with pepperoni on the whole thing, green olives on half, and sausage on the other half. How does that equal $18? I'll tell you. They charged for three toppings. So I showed them their own menu with the prices. The excuse? They don't have a way to ring up a split item pizza. The manager (part owner?) was apologetic, but did not offer to refund the $2. I said, "OK, I'd like both of the half toppings put on the entire pizza then," pointing to my pizza. He nicely said that next time I need to remember to order the third topping on the whole pizza. I think he really was trying to be diplomatic and nice. Then Rich, who is part owner, chimes in. He reiterates what the other guy said. I explain to both of them that never in my history of ordering pizza from any establishment have I been charged full price for items I've split half and half, making a whole. Rich's answer was that I pay a higher price at Maraschino's because it's a premium pizza. (BTW, it's a typical pizza.) That response didn't even address what I said. I explained that this will be the last time I come in, as we've had enough bad experiences at their restaurant to warrant not returning after this overcharge. I told them about prior bad experiences. The first guy was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. Rich said, "If you don't want to return because of $2, that's on you." So that's how the owner feels about his customers . . . I replied, "Yes, it is, and I'll do just that because I cannot return in good faith to a place that knowingly overcharges its patrons." He said, "OK." I headed for the door and one of them said, "Have a nice day." And those will be the famous last words I'll hear from the guy at Maraschino's because I'll never be back. (The pizza was good today, so what a pity. Good thing I know of 5 other great pizza places within a few miles.)

a glass of wine on a napkin

The food is bar food - not looking for 5 star. The service is why I come here. Super attentive and friendly. Solid beer and drink selection. Trivia and karaoke are an absolute hit. No reason not to stop by and give it a try!

Queso Dip
Rebecca S.

Came here for dinner. We just moved in nearby and heard this place was good. We started with beers and Queso dip. The dip tasted like bottled dip I buy at the store, but we were starving and it had a good presentation, and it also tasted pretty good. We both ordered burgers (build your own) with fries. I like to dip my fries in ranch and their ranch was amazing! It definitely tasted homemade and was sooo good. The fries were crispy and fresh tasting. The burger was cooked perfectly and I loved the pretzel bun. The service was a little slow but we weren't in any hurry. We're so excited to come back to this place! They had many other good sounding menu items.

STILL RAW!!! Center cold Salmon and absolutely flavorless with just sauce dumped on top. Way too much money wasted
Eldwin L.

Unfortunately we have tried this place a few times driving through the area and it is exactly what some of the other reviewers have stated. You can tell the individual that owns the sub shop across the street also owns this place. Heck even 1 of the workers was wearing a T-shirt from across the street lol. The food tastes like off the back of a truck / Sysco food. And the same type of teenage cook from across the street preparing fast food. You can't blame the cook if he hasn't had the training and doing the best with what he has you can only do so much with freezer food. which is exactly what it taste like. Just sauce dumped on it, or over salted there is absolutely no flavor or depth to any of the food. Sadly this area needs a quality restaurant if they would pay for an actual chef it might be a game changer. There is so many. Close small family farms close by. With fresh quailty ingredients. Support local and local will support you! If the city chefs can do this with Urban Farms there's absolutely no reason this place cannot. On top of this there is a huge demand for this now. Embrace the change as many other restaurants have and they are thriving. Serving freezer food from a truck is just lazy and uninspired. Customers now can tell and appreciate the difference there is too much competition. Once the novelty of a restaurant in this location finally wears off Sadly I think the client base will go to where they are appreciated and a better quality of food. I hope this is not the case, it does seem to be a nice setting outside The inside ambiance however you can tell they tried with the rustic wood walls but the floor makes you feel like you're sitting in someone's garage on a painted slab. It is very loud and echoey even with only 10 people there. If you want to just grab a quick beer I guess this is an easy spot other than that you are better off not wasting your money. She got the salmon which was Bland and not even completely cooked through! she felt sick afterwards. I got a chicken Caesar salad which was extremely small and overpriced the cost at this location definitely does not meet the quality and taste of product put out. Sadly I think we will not be back unless we are in the area unless something changes it's definitely not worth going out of your way for. This place is definitely too new to have already have such bad reviews starting. Wish them the best and Hope they get inspired.

Supreme Pub Puzza

My sister and I had tickets for the Cherry Hill Theatre, which is right next door to this Pub. So we decided to try out this Pub. We ordered Supreme Pub Pizza, my sister thought the pizza was excellent, I thought it was good. Yes, I would definitely come back and I will order the pizza again. The Wait Staff was okay. The restaurant was full and busy due to the show at the Cherry Hill Theatre next door. Our wait person only checked on us once but she was a nice young lady. I watch all the food pass me by, coming from the kitchen it look so delicious. Can't wait come back again and try something different.

You could make so much more money if you hired staff for your busy nights. Been waiting forever to order a beer.

We ordered the corn beef Reuben and giant nachos. The nachos had the tri-colored chips which for some reason I feel taste better than just the regular tortilla chips. It was loaded up with beef, cheese, beans with all the nacho fixins. It was large and we couldn't finish it. The Reuben sandwich had a generous amount of corn beef and tangy sauerkraut on marbled rye bread. It came with fries, a side of coleslaw, and a pickle. Huge and delicious sandwich for $16. Drinks seemed a little pricy at $9 each for Crown Royal Apple. The reason for 3 stars is the service was not that great. They were busy when we got there so understandably it took a few minutes to get our drink and dinner order in but when there was 4 people left in the place and the bartender ignored us for 15 minutes we decided to go over to where she was at and interrupt her conversation so we could cash out. I understand chatting with your regulars but they lost out on another round of drinks and possibly a round of shots because we didn't get any attention. Other than that we enjoyed our food, drinks and ambience. Hopefully this isn't the norm here because it's a solid dive bar/restaurant in the Canton area.

They came pretty quickly, they were gray and did not taste good. It tasted like steak pieces that were in a fridge and got micro waved. They were served with canned mushrooms, pita bread and bbq sauce? For our meals we got wings, a burger, and perch dinner. Wings were good, burger was on a stale bun and the burger wasn't seasoned, perch was also okay. French onion soup came with the perch dinner and that was very good. Service was pretty good, around 530 the restaurant did get pretty busy. Won't come back here to eat, but is good for drinks and playing keno.
