We had an American Elm that seemed to develop weak foliage in the spring the past couple years…read more This year was no different except by early summer the tree was 3/4 bare. It was completely bare by the end of July. This tree towers over the house and should a limb break off it could cause serious damage. So we obtained several bids to remove it. CCTE was not the lowest bidder but it seemed affordable and they had the equipment to do the job. We had to wait several weeks but they were here on the day they said they would be. They explained what was going to happen. They were very professional and were very safe during 6 hours it took to take it down limb for limb. I was left with a 3 ft diameter trunk nearly flush with the ground. The stump grinder was out the following day. They did a great job grinding the stump well below ground level. They took precautions not to damage the edge of the driveway and lawn. All wood was chipped or hauled away and grinding removed. Topsoil was brought in to fill the hole where the trunk was and to level out depressions. They seeded and covered with straw. I am very happy I chose CCTE for this project. I would use them again and recommend to other.

They responded immediately to our request for information and we received a comprehensive quote the same day Eli came out to look at the property (which was only days after our initial phone call). We contacted Torres Tree Service the last week of March. They came out and gave us a quote on March 27 and the project was completed by April 9. Pricing was reasonable, and they did a phenomenal job not only grinding up the stumps of the two full trees that were removed, but of cleaning up any/all debris from all the other branches they removed. We were scheduled for last Friday and Ryan called to say he couldn't get a large enough crew to take down the seven large Pines in one day. He said he would try for the next Friday and let me know. I called a told him it was OK if he didn't get it done in one day. He could leave some equipment here is needed. Ryan called the next Thursday to say they would be out Friday at 9:00 am. They arrived right about nine and met with us to make sure the job was done the way we wanted and to respect our yard. They were very careful. The teamwork and precision of this crew was amazing. They were done by 12:30 and even helped me mulch the dead Apple trees in had cut, and ground the stumps even though they weren't in the bid. They then impressed me as they meticulously cleaned up our yard, and then went to the neighbor's yard to clean up anything that blew over the fence.
