I was resigned to cutting the tree down myself, when the Great Oaks flyer landed in my mailbox. The day of the removal they showed up bang on time with lots of equipment and a really professional crew who had this down to a science. The guy who climbed the tree had mad skills; the rest of the crew acted like a well-oiled machine, directing traffic, clearing branches, moving equipment around. It is a real joy to watch professionals at work. They had the project done very quickly, and absolutely earned their keep. I'd recommend them to anyone.

It was completely bare by the end of July. This tree towers over the house and should a limb break off it could cause serious damage. So we obtained several bids to remove it. CCTE was not the lowest bidder but it seemed affordable and they had the equipment to do the job. We had to wait several weeks but they were here on the day they said they would be. They explained what was going to happen. They were very professional and were very safe during 6 hours it took to take it down limb for limb. I was left with a 3 ft diameter trunk nearly flush with the ground. The stump grinder was out the following day. They did a great job grinding the stump well below ground level. They took precautions not to damage the edge of the driveway and lawn. All wood was chipped or hauled away and grinding removed. Topsoil was brought in to fill the hole where the trunk was and to level out depressions. They seeded and covered with straw. I am very happy I chose CCTE for this project. I would use them again and recommend to other.
