I've been afraid of dentists so much that it's debilitating. Dr. Rose and Abbey were amazing and kept me at ease. I would go back again.

Dentist visit made easy!…read more I despise having teeth work done. The noise, the pain, discomfort...not fun. So, making this appointment was a significant step as I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time and last time I was living in a different state. I was initially told I'd have to make 2 separate appointments: one for xrays and evaluation, the next for the cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to do all of this in one visit! Chelsea was my hygienist and she was amazing! Super gentle, explained everything she was doing during the xrays and evaluation and my teeth didn't hurt at all while she cleaned. I was so much more relaxed that I anticipated. Dr. Rose came in and evaluated quickly; I did have to come back for a few fillings...to be expected by me of course. Prices are fair I guess, as I do not have insurance. They do not accept payment plans however. I don't really mind this as I am more than pleased with my treatment and look forward to keeping up better with my dentistry by coming here.

The entire staff of Maple Way is so friendly and helpful, they truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. My hygienist does a very thorough job---and on the few occasions when I've had to see a different hygienist, and they have always been equally thorough. Dr. Rose is one of the kindest, warmest people you'll ever meet, and she is truly an exceptional dentist. In addition to standard dental care, she also does some cosmetic dentistry, and she did an incredible job creating crowns for my front teeth, resulting in a smile that I am often complimented on---prior to that, I was very self-conscious of my smile and always tried to keep my lips closed. I truly can't say enough about how happy we have been with this practice. We are now moving away out of state, and are so sad to leave Maple Way dentistry behind!

"Bad teeth run in our family" is something my my whole family can attest to. I've seen my fair share of dentists as I've moved around a lot in my adult life. I've never been excited for a dentist appointment. I'm not the least bit embarrassed by my smile, on the contrary, I'm pretty happy with it. But if I could skip ever sitting in those lounge chairs of terror again- I would. In a heartbeat. I broke a tooth. It's been a couple months now. I saw 2 other dentists, I wait MONTHS for both appointments: and I don't know about you, but when it comes to medical stuff- I trust my gut. I was NOT letting them touch me. Long story short, it turned into an emergency over the weekend. I was awake all night with a swollen face, what felt like a kitchen knife stabbed into my gums and no relief. At 8:01 I called Willow Run and told them I was dying (not in those words, but..) it went something like this: Lady (Jenn I think): Hi thank you for calling Willow Run Dental how can I help you? Me: hi, I have an emergency. I have a broken tooth. Jenn: Are you a patient of ours? Me: No, my dentist is in Florida. Jenn: ok, well we don't have any appointments with a doctor today, but we could get you into a hygienist chair.. *no, she's in pain!* (I think she was vouching for me to a coworker) ok, we can get you in at 9:20. If you could come early to fill out paperwork that'd be great. Me: already on the way there. So, I walk in- the door opens and the angel at the front, Debora, says in a sweet soothing voice: "hi there, you must be our new patient." (While doves flutter from her shoulders and stars twinkle in her eyes. I'm not kidding, she's pure sugar.) At this point I'm thinking "ok, Hannibal Lecter could be the dentist at this point and I'd come back just for Debora. The waiting area is small, but she sure does make it feel homey. The door pops open at 9:20, as promised, and JoJo the hygienist of the century waves me into her cubical and I'm immediately at ease. She reminds me of the cool mom everyone loves because she makes the best snacks and you can tell her all your problems and she doesn't judge you. She was so delicate and kind, and when your tooth is thumping and your mouth might explode- being delicate is a big deal. Also; she ASKED ME WHAT I WANTED-- nobody ever does that, they just tell you what your choices are and make you pick. Very important. Ok, so, I'm feeling pretty confident in my choice so far. And in walks Dr. Schneider. She has soft hands, but a very firm, confident handshake- but, best of all- she doesn't shake your hand and drop it. She holds it for a second. I'm a firm believer in reading someone by their handshake. I could tell she's confident and particular, but caring. She took a look at my mouth, reassured me that everything except my broken tooth looked good and then-- she ASKED ME WHAT I WANTED to have done, again I say-- nobody ever asks anymore! Dr Schneider and JoJo spent time going over my current issues, explaining what it meant for me, offered me immediate pain relief, and then let me decide the best course of action. I'm blown away. I cannot say enough how comforting and kind all of the ladies were that I had the pleasure of seeing today. 100/10 would recommend Willow Run Dental to anyone and everyone. Unless you're a jerk, then don't go there and ruin it for the nice people.

Kippax answered, I explained my situation, said I don't have money today for anything, I don't get paid til the 3rd. He said; that's fine, we'll look into your insurance when you get here. I said ok, I don't want to do anything today because I don't have the money and my friend is lending me the money for the extractions. I showed up 30 min early, waited as the nice receptionist dealt with a non English speaking client. Gave her all my insurance cards and ID. They took me back 15 min. Past my appointment time, so 45 min after I arrived in excruciating pain. I go in the back, the assistant, hygienist, nurse, whatever she was was very nice and took my X-ray, and said he would be in to discuss. (The exam room was really dirty looking). I was handed a sheet to read and initial for the "tentative" procedure on Friday. He called in penicillin and ibuprofen for me and I asked what the estimate was and was told Mary (the nice receptionist) was working in it. About 15 min. Passed and she came back and said $860 (or so for the extractions) and $210 for the xrays and visit today. I said, well, I don't have the "today money" I told that to him (the surgeon) on the phone this morning when I made the appointment. I said, I'm on disability and have $72 to my name until the 3rd. She said let me go ask him, she came back and said "we'll take the $72 today". I said, no you won't, that's what I have to live off of for the next week and a half. She said, I'm sorry you agreed to these services the second you sat down in that chair, I said you didn't give me an option. I was told you were working on estimate. You didn't give me the estimate until AFTER I signed "tentative surgery" paperwork and had the X-ray. While walking out (different counter than when you check in) there was literally a Costco size container of soft, sugar peppermints!!! My aching teeth ached even harder when I saw this! I said, if I had seen those when I got here, I would have never sat in the chair!! My friend texted me her credit card info and I gave it to the woman, I was crying and very upset! I slammed the door behind me and told them I would not be doing a procedure in their dirty office! I asked for a copy of my $210 X-ray to take elsewhere. I left because I was in sooo much pain. I will be contacting them for my x-ray. Already a dentaphobe!!!

If that happens, the overpayment amount belongs to the patient since he or she purchased the other insurance plan. Again, the provider cannot just keep the money. That is Fraud. But at Aspire that is the policy!! Don't plan on seeing a dime, even if you have 10 policies. Don't plan on your insurance being billed within the 2weeks after the work is done, it may take a year. Don't ever believe a bill a year later you could receive a suprise. A Dental office is measured on metrics. One is claims processed correctly the first time. 0% at this office. 1 error per dental claim! Second is time to submit and get paid. If you purchased your own insurance and have several policies the all can be sent at the same time. Ada form with full bill. This office can not get insurance processed in a months time. 1, 2, 3, 4. They have no idea how it works. They think all insurance copays and has to use those submissions rules. And don't tell them different! They definitely know what they are doing. You would be better off letting your dog submit the ADA forms!
