I've been afraid of dentists so much that it's debilitating. Dr. Rose and Abbey were amazing and kept me at ease. I would go back again.

Dentist visit made easy!…read more I despise having teeth work done. The noise, the pain, discomfort...not fun. So, making this appointment was a significant step as I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time and last time I was living in a different state. I was initially told I'd have to make 2 separate appointments: one for xrays and evaluation, the next for the cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to do all of this in one visit! Chelsea was my hygienist and she was amazing! Super gentle, explained everything she was doing during the xrays and evaluation and my teeth didn't hurt at all while she cleaned. I was so much more relaxed that I anticipated. Dr. Rose came in and evaluated quickly; I did have to come back for a few fillings...to be expected by me of course. Prices are fair I guess, as I do not have insurance. They do not accept payment plans however. I don't really mind this as I am more than pleased with my treatment and look forward to keeping up better with my dentistry by coming here.

The entire staff of Maple Way is so friendly and helpful, they truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. My hygienist does a very thorough job---and on the few occasions when I've had to see a different hygienist, and they have always been equally thorough. Dr. Rose is one of the kindest, warmest people you'll ever meet, and she is truly an exceptional dentist. In addition to standard dental care, she also does some cosmetic dentistry, and she did an incredible job creating crowns for my front teeth, resulting in a smile that I am often complimented on---prior to that, I was very self-conscious of my smile and always tried to keep my lips closed. I truly can't say enough about how happy we have been with this practice. We are now moving away out of state, and are so sad to leave Maple Way dentistry behind!

They have been unbelievably responsive and accommodating, fast, friendly and always willing to listen to what I have to say and make sure that my dental care is working for me. I've had both cleaning and ortho with them. I highly recommend Aspire if they are an in-network provider for you! ...and worth the drive :)

Can a provider keep the money from an overpayment? Often, an…read moreinsurance company ignores the amount paid by the primary and makes payment as if no other insurance is involved, resulting in overpayments. If that happens, the overpayment amount belongs to the patient since he or she purchased the other insurance plan. Again, the provider cannot just keep the money. That is Fraud. But at Aspire that is the policy!! Don't plan on seeing a dime, even if you have 10 policies. Don't plan on your insurance being billed within the 2weeks after the work is done, it may take a year. Don't ever believe a bill a year later you could receive a suprise. A Dental office is measured on metrics. One is claims processed correctly the first time. 0% at this office. 1 error per dental claim! Second is time to submit and get paid. If you purchased your own insurance and have several policies the all can be sent at the same time. Ada form with full bill. This office can not get insurance processed in a months time. 1, 2, 3, 4. They have no idea how it works. They think all insurance copays and has to use those submissions rules. And don't tell them different! They definitely know what they are doing. You would be better off letting your dog submit the ADA forms!

They first scheduled the procedure to happen in January 2026, which was several months out from the initial appointment. Come January 2026, the appointment was cancelled at the last minute because the facility where it was scheduled could not accommodate a high risk case like my son's. They advised the procedure would need to happen at the Scarborough Maine Med, where I was told they had the appropriate equipment for my son's care. The new appointment was set for June 2, 2026. Last Thursday, this office called me to secure payment in advance of the procedure (just over $5k). I secured payment via CareCredit. At the end of their day on Thursday (they close at 3 and are closed on Fridays), they called to tell me my sons appointment was again cancelled due to the facility not being able to accommodate a higher risk case. I was frustrated and confused because I was told this was the very reason it was scheduled at the second location. My questions and concern were met with indifference and irritability by office staff at FPD. The woman I spoke with not only failed to place the call on hold properly so I could hear them grumbling about my concern in the background, but then told me the blame was entirely on Maine Health admissions and gave me the number to call them. Then, their office promptly closed. I spoke at length with a wonderful woman at Maine Health who explained to me that this was entirely FPD's error. She escalated the matter to her boss, who confirmed and initiated an incident report. With this, I wrote a message to FPD to express my deep disappointment in the way things were handled. No response. I had my son transferred to Just for Kids in Scarborough and they had him in for an exam this past Monday. He did extremely well with the exam and the bite wing x rays that FPD never bothered to try but claimed my son was incapable of doing (unbeknownst to me previously). The dentist at JFK assured me that not only could they take care of my son without anesthesia well before late August (which is when the appointment FPD offered would've occurred), but that some of the work proposed didn't even need to be done. In fact, with the aid of the x rays, they were able to tell that putting caps on my son's front teeth would not have been beneficial to him as I was told by FPD. The careless attitudes permeating this office are dangerous for a place that serves young children. I'm so thankful I went elsewhere.
