He waits in the lobby with no other patients or walk-in patients & is sitting there for 30-1hr each time. Now a days all they are about is covid. They don't care to hear the actual symptoms of what's going on with him. We came in for an ear infection & treated him like he had covid. My daughter & I just had an ear infection so you'd think they would put 2 & 2 together & say okay no problems let's check out ur ears & not treat you like you're not supposed to be in society.

I was new to the world of hearing loss and its treatment. I wasn't ready yet, to jump on board. A couple of weeks ago, I realized that I am NOW ready. I phoned and made a new appointment. My hand was graciously held as I was walked through the evaluation process and then outfitted. All of my concerns were considered and addressed. All rationale about their recommendations for me was explained to my satisfaction. I'm a "know-it-all" sound tech by profession and I was dealt with on a level that was very comfy to me. It is readily apparent that they can deal with it ALL in a pleasant and professional manner. Less than a week along with the hearing aids, now... So far so good. The nurses were incredible and truly made my birthing experience everything I could have hoped for-- I didn't feel like just another patient when in their care but like I was their only patient! When I had my son, it was still during the difficult period of navigating Covid-19 restrictions and my providers and the nurses were so great about communicating with us regarding visitors every step of the way. Stephens may be a small hospital in rural Maine but the work they do leaves a BIG impact.

The team met us with concern and compassion, and acted with urgency. The nurses took great care of him, ensuring he was safe and as comfortable as possible. As a smaller ER, the team was close knit and very present. The doctor saw us within 20 minutes, and checked on us every 10 minutes or so. The doctor ultimately performed the required stitches with care and precision. Although it was a traumatic incident that brought us there, we were very grateful to the team for the care they gave us and my son throughout. Thank you team. Greatly appreciated.
