The location of this complex is ideal - close enough to nature that you know you're in Colorado, but still convenient to downtown - and will be even moreso when the Gold Line opens. You can actually watch the Arvada city 4th of July fireworks from your porch or balcony, which is amazing. The buildings are from - I don't know, maybe the 70s or 80s - but they're not ramshackle or dated. Management and staff are fantastic and they do a great job of keeping things updated. They are quick with repairs and just so easy to deal with. It's a friendly, happy community - lots of kids and dogs - and neighbors are really respectful of each other. The units are very pretty, with nice finishes and an incredible amount of closet space. I love my home and feel very lucky to live here.

I absolutely love my apartment and most of the time keep the lights off because of the fantastic natural light the building provides. The area is great! My move in went seamlessly. I really appreciated the communication from both Arlette and Hannah throughout the entire process. They were great at responding to my multitude of questions and concerns. Especially since I was not in the area and everything had to be done electronic. One week into my move in, they organized a resident event. It was so fun! It feels great to be a part of a building that wants to foster good relationships with their residents and help the residents meet one another. They have MONTHLY events. How fantastic is that! I also really appreciate that all the residents I have met genuinely enjoy living here, everyone I have encountered says they love the building and love the area. By far the best in my opinion. When we moved into our 2 bdrm apartment, it was very clean and everything worked. Then a few weeks later our cooking stove went out. I called the office and within 3 days We had a brand new one being installed. The next summer our air conditioner went out and didn't cool any longer. I called the office and they said that since the one we had was pretty old we would get a new one. Then a new one was installed within days. There's a community garden, they keep the yards clean and well kept, there's a gas grill that is operable anytime during the year, a pool that is not kept too cold to enjoy, a playground, onsite laundry and it's close to olde town Arvada, where there is a lot of things to do. I love this place and look forward to a long time here.

When we moved in, we were warned the apartment hadn't been professionally cleaned - they forgot, I guess. The apartment complex was built around 10 or 15 years ago and it's obvious very little has been updated since then. I am charged $10 a month to park my car in the lot and still have to rely on street parking if I get home after 9pm, because the lot fills up and the garage parking is egregiously expensive. I'm pretty sure there's only like 3 people who work here, so the timescale on issues getting addressed really depends on how many people are in front of you. So why is this a five-star review? Because the rent is incredibly competitive for the area, the view from my apartment is breathtaking, I am in Olde Town and a couple blocks from the rail station. Because this is the first place I've lived in 5 years that didn't raise my rent from one lease year to the other. Because this is the friendliest, most supportive apartment community I've ever had the pleasure of calling my neighbors. They can pry this outdated apartment from my dead hands.

However, last Friday, the elevators started dysfunctioning (my friend was stuck in the elevator until someone opened the door from the outside). Since then they have not worked at all. Management has been called numerous times with no response. Finally, yesterday afternoon, after four days with no elevators email was sent that the elevators don't work. I'm handicap & cannot easily walk up & down five flights of stairs for doctor appointments & groceries. I can understands mechanical issues, but lack of communication to renters is unacceptable. We'll be looking for a different facility. I recommend renters & prospective renters look elsewhere as well. Code enforcement for the city of Arvada has been contacted and is working with management. Lease payments will be reduced accordingly until the issue is resolved in a professional manner.

Someone came out with a dog that viciously bit me and caused it to bleed everywhere. Your lack of empathy and understanding for this situation is the prime reason that we have a problem. The huge lack of safety, awareness and compliance from the staff after the incident was incredibly poor. Nice try passing the blame though.

She then proceeds to sit in her office with several other people never addressing my questions. Don't bother leasing here. You can already tell from the moment you walk in what you're getting yourself into.
