Really clean Rv park. Close to downtown area, but away from all the crazy traffic! The girls in the office are really nice and helpful. Fenced dog run in the back, pool, on-site store, and laundry rooms. Overall, great park to stay in.

Been here for two weeks. Small sites.

Uvas Pines RV Park - Lots of space behind us

I liked the convenience of the location as we were visiting family for the holidays…read more However this RV park caters more to full timers which is evident by the post office boxes at the office. Here are some pros and cons. Pro's: Spaces are large with plenty of room for the RV plus two cars. No light pollution is really nice for star gazing. Full hookups are nice. Easy check-in and out. Nice little walking trail by the creek. Overall very quiet with occasional road noise but not much at all. They also will fill your propane and drop it off after you drop off to them. Lots of trees which is probably great in the summer. Cons: Full timers give the RV park a different feel, there's none of that fellow camaraderie you find at most RV parks. Many full timers have sheds and storage of their belongings outside their RVs and makeshift porches that give the place a run down feel. Gravel sites could use some upgrades as ours had a deep hole that could have been an ankle twister so we had to keep a chair over it so we didn't step in it. No picnic tables here which is a first for us. No other amenities besides the restrooms and laundry room which we did not see. Only one garbage location at main entrance. Overall decent place and better than Thousand Trails down the way IMO. Plenty of room and spacious spaces. I would probably stay here again if in a pinch.

The park is beautiful and well maintained, no complaints there but this is a LONG TERM PARK very oriented towards that!! So super fun we got to hear all the diesel trucks start and idle at 5-6am when the husbands left for work...while we were on vacation trying to sleep in an RV!! Not possible!! There is a K-rail out front of the park so you HAVE to exit going north, there is no option! So to get to town you have to go a few miles out of the way every time. OH and fun fact the stretch of road it's located on is nicknamed "Blood Alley" because there are so many deaths and accidents on it! Street races at night on the weekend were fun around 11pm...not!! They also don't tell you or disclose anywhere no one under 14 is allowed in the hot tub! My kids are excellent swimmers, don't pee in the water and have great hot tub manners...better than most adults I'm sure, but we don't get to use it because of some arbitrary rule they didn't talk about ahead of time. It's an oh btw sorry yeah no, you don't get to use it while you're here! Bummer! Pool is freezing cold too, not heated just a note! The shuttle to the golf course is very nice, and a great "perk" if you're staying there and planning to golf...but the reason they do this is because accessing the course requires a 10-15 minute trip to go like 1 mile or less. The gate to the golf course is the back gate and gets locked up so you can potentially get stuck there if you stay after golfing to eat or have a drink. The location is really the bummer, there's trash EVERYWHERE on the road in and it's just "ghetto". Once inside the park yes it's pretty, but all the long term people have very clearly made their spots home, and have junk all over them. Our next door neighbor had an oil drain pan with a filter sitting in it right in the middle of his spot for most of our stay. This was the 6am worker not what I wanted on vacation! The staff should do a better job of putting short term people in the same area and really focus on those guests stay versus the long term group that just can't afford to live anywhere else in MH so their options are limited.

At night you hear nothing but the occasional animal sounds...a great break from reality from the hustle and bustle of the work world in San Jose. During the day, pretty much the same, I almost feel guilty talking to my daughter outside and making noise that may disturb someone....it is colder right now, so that may change in the summer, but either way, I kind of like the peace and quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful green hills in the springtime and is close to town, yet surrounded by nature, a perfect blend. I was able to get a great spot that is somewhat private with privacy fencing and the lot is not too big and not too small (have a 32ft and could fit another 32ft right next to it and still have room. A little worried that new managers are coming in, so we'll see how that goes, but so far so good! The only downside is the cell service, but the manager let me know to turn my phone to wi-fi calling which worked, the only bad thing is I still don't get text messages...not too much of a deal since I don't really text, but I do miss an occasional work text. The washers and dryers are fairly inexpensive in relation to neighboring laundromats, which is helpful. One of least expensive parks in the area which is very appreciated in this over-inflated area. Overall, no major concerns, I would recommend this place to others who may be looking.

We were staying in Monterey, so it was about a 25 min drive to get there, we arrived before 11am. We parked before the park entrance along Highway 1 where there were NO signs saying "No parking at any time" THIS IS IMPORTANT because as we were walking towards the entrance, there was a parking enforcement officer giving tickets to all the other cars parked where the signs were clearly posted closer to the entrance. So make sure you pay attention! There is parking inside the park too for only $10. Once inside there were park rangers helping you with questions and guiding you on deciding which trails to go on, which was very nice and convenient! We took a picture of the map and choose to do the Cypress Grove, and the Sea Lion Point Trails. We only had about 3 hrs to hang out at the park, so those two were perfect easy hikes and roughly about 2.5 miles if you do both loops. We got spectacular views everywhere, you could hear the Sea Lions and see so many beautiful birds flying around. Wish we would've brought binoculars, so bring some with you if you remember. We can't wait to come back another time and do a full day of hiking because there are so many other trails! The park and restrooms were clean and well kept too, it's definitely a must visit once in your lifetime at least!!

On our first visit we met April, who gave us plenty of space to look around without bothering us. When we were ready, she walked around with us, showing us options that met our criteria, and patiently answered all our questions. We weren't ready to buy, and when we communicated that, she understood. A couple of weeks later, after thinking through the different choices, we came back. April was by then on maternity leave, so we worked with Briana, who was equally friendly, knowledgable, and low-key. The transaction was smooth and painless. No last minute charges, no pressure to buy extended warranty (though one was available if we wanted it). We arranged for financing with our credit union, and that was fine, too (no pressure to take financing through the dealer). On the day we arrived for pick-up, they had cleaned and prepped the trailer, and Luis gave us a thorough walk through, making sure we understood how everything worked, from the smart hitch to the a/c to the slide-out & etc. We had been to another, big RV dealership months earlier, and were so traumatized by the high pressure sales tactics and endless (endless!!!) "follow-up" phone calls that we were paranoid about shopping again, but we had heard good things about Family RV, so we took a chance. Glad we did! I highly recommend this place; we would definitely buy there again.
