We were due out of our Camping Site when we had an issue with one of our jacks and awning on our Motorhome. We were unable to move the Motorhome and the Site was reserved. Frustrating to work with and did a lousy job. Talks a good line! Dennis seems nice at first, but once they have your money they don't care. Shoddy work left early with no reason given. Worst of all they did a really bad job on the roof seal, then told me it was "Good to go for the winter" Then in the first rain the roof leaked a lot!! I had to tarp the whole RV. So disappointed. I am sad to write this review, as the first couple of interactions were great. I thought I had found someone to help me as I rehabbed my motorhome, and a new friend to boot. Dennis is a superstar, a hard worker with good ethics, stories, and experience! Unfortunately, in my opinion and as I had seen on other reviews but chose to ignore, his office help (Maggie) is where communication and customer service go downhill. I feel that if I had a direct line to him, I would still be working with him and my coach would have benefited. I wish them both the best. read more

This husband and wife team are really pleasant and do very good work. I've called upon him twice now wants to fix a gas heater, and today a leaking bathtub. Living in an old RV full time has its moments. Like the time I thought I was filling the water tank and overflowed the black water instead. Good times! I didn't actually need Dennis to clean up that small mess, but he's been great repairing and giving advice on various malfunctioning stuff such as our heater, oven, water heater, random leaks, and awning. Since COVID, he's been more in demand than usual, so you may have to wait a few weeks for service. If you can, totally worth it, as he is super knowledgeable and friendly to boot. read more

I could not be more impressed with the service and repairs, and I had A LOT to contend with given I bought a 13 year old trailer that was in much worse condition than I was led to believe. Dennis is so incredibly knowledgeable and wonderful to work with, as are his crew. I had to have three appointments for all the things that I had to have fixed, and they were on time for every one of them. I give Dennis and his service my highest possible recommendation. I was stranded at an RV park in Felton with a broken leaf spring. Trailer could not be towed so my only option was to find somebody who could do the work in the park. Dennis was busy, but he made time to fit me in and get the job done. Dennis & Maggie are the best. I know this, because I have experienced the others. Dennis does the mechanical portion of the work and he is not only very knowledgeable about the workings of an RV, but he is also very punctual and courteous. My motor home had a complicated problem with the water heater that left other RV service personal scratching there heads, but Dennis figures it out right away. He treats the job as if it were his own RV. Within moments of talking to him about my problem I could tell he really knew what he was doing. In addition, he educated me on severa other important in's & out's surrounding the workings of my RV. This information really helped me a lot now, & will be very valuable in the future. Maggie works the other end of things. She was also very knowledgeable, courteous, & punctual. When I first called to make an appointment she got back to me right away. In addition, whenever I called with a question she always knew the answer or got back to me in a timely manner. Having someone who really knows how to deal with the warranty issues is really important when getting a claim approved. Maggie has a lot of experience in dealing with the manufacturers, as well as the extended warranty companies. This can be a daunting task, but you can be rest assured that Maggie can handle your claim correctly. Their prices are very fair and you get much better service/valuable information than you would from a lot of the service centers in this area. I would recommend Coastal RV to anyone!! Dennis (owner) arrived on time with his well-equipped van. My vexing battery system problem in my Lance camper was quickly and professionally resolved as he dropped the melted hidden fuse assembly into my hand. I would never have found the fuse located under the toilet paper in the bathroom. Dennis knew exactly where to look. He checked out my solar and controller and an electrical wiring I had asked about. Dennis was very pleasant, had the needed part and did a professional repair. A problem I had struggled with for a solid week took Dennis only 30 minutes to resolve. Will Not Let Him Come to Any Single Lady Owned Trailers, Rv's or Coaches! My 36 year old nephew was even living with me at the time. We had to fix the fix that Dennis did, as well. My neighbor (also single) went six months without hot water or heat! Could not get Maggie to return her calls, either. After six months, Dennis came out, it took all of about five minutes for him to figure out the propane issue, my neighbor was having. He just had to blow the line out! A three minute fix, and she waited six months! Turns out she posed no threat to Maggie, so Dennis ordered the part she needed for her heater...and she was set to go. Fast forward two years...they now have the UCSC Trailer Park account. They still will not come out, they now have a bread and butter account. Why should they? This is a family business with Maggie in the office and Dennis as the field technician; and, they treated me like family after a tire de-lamination damaged my 5th wheel coach. Dennis was prompt and thorough in both coming to my home to estimate the job and then returning to do the repairs (Maggie reworked their schedule after the parts arrived from the factory and I needed to get back on the road quickly). Had some serious electrical issues with travel trailer so I called Coastal....Dennis was busy all week, but was told he could squeeze me in at the end of the day Wednesday....needed new converter/circuit board and fuses and what-not. Definitely a five star rating. On November 7 of this year 2018 while on our way to Sea Cliff State Park, our freshwater tank suddenly dropped on our new fifth wheel trailer. We were able to limp our way to our destination. That warranty department of our manufacturer recommended Coastal RV Service to come out and take a look at it and repair if possible. Coastal RV showed up the next morning. That's when I got to meet (Dennis) the owner, and technician, and his helper Jackson.Dennis was very knowledgeable, informative, and honest, he was able to stabilize my tank temporarily so we can enjoy the week dry camping. He informed me of what to do and what not to do. Although we weren't able to completely fill our tank, we were still able to add water to it daily as not to overfill it till he could come back the day we were leaving to secure it completely and get us back safely on the road. Not only that,he also help me out by writing a letter to the warrantee department of his assessment of the damage that had been done and any other necessary work that should needed that occurred from that dropped tank.
