The sales people were very helpful as well as the office staff. I really appreciate their assistance since I am a first time RV buyer.

The RV had to be ready to take me to San Diego where I will start my new job. As the inspection continued the number of mandatory safety and repair issues increased exponentially. I can honestly say they saved my life and probably the lives of everyone else on the road with me. This is no exaggeration. I am driving a 33000 pound vehicle. When you step on the brakes you need the vehicle to come to a complete stop safely. You want the lights to work, the electrical to work, the plumbing to work and the propane not to leak. Bay Area RV found and fixed so many crucial items that I would never have known about if it wasn't for them. Even though my total repair bill was significantly higher than I could ever have anticipated, I now have a safe , fully operational and beautiful RV that will last me for many years to come. I can't list all the details because they would be too numerous, but the number of times they have cut cost, discounted labor, and went above and beyond to work with their vendors and mine to get me the best possible price for the mandatory parts I needed is more than I think anyone else would have ever done for me. Even after I am down in San Diego I am going to drive that RV right back up here for any major work that needs to be done because I know it will be done right and with honor and with integrity. I can honestly say that they put me ahead of their own profits. My final bill was high but that is not their fault and it could have been much much worse if I had taken it to someone else. I don't want to exclude anyone on their amazing team but I do want to give a shout out to Alison and Alberto. You have made a friend and customer for life.

It had been a very busy year and I still had many demands on my time that were not related to the trip, and I was stressed. I asked them to do routine engine maintenance and to find out why the dashboard AC had stopped working. They did as I asked and found and fixed the problem with the AC right away. I wanted new tires plus a spare for the trip. Savio referred me to Ramon's and they did a wonderful job with the tires, including locating a rim for the spare. The Solis has no space for a spare. I ordered a mounted from Landed Gear and had it shipped to Leales and Leales followed the instructions for the installation so that the spare stayed put even when we drove the famously rough Alcan Highway there and back. The road is built on permafrost and its reputation has not been exaggerated - we encountered one car with two flat tires - but with good tires and slow driving, we never needed our spare. We also did not experience the problems I've read people have with other brands or improperly installed back door mounted spare tire racks: broken window or warping of the metal doors.

AVOID LEALE'S RV -- Misleading, Frustrating, and Unprofessional…read more I had a really frustrating experience with Leale's RV, particularly with Michael in their service department. I brought in my 2024 Thor motorhome for a battery-related issue. Michael incorrectly told me that my coach does not support Group 31 AGM batteries and insisted I would need to spend nearly $2,000 to upgrade to lithium. He was adamant, repeatedly citing his past experience working at Thor (from years ago) as the basis for his claims--even though the coach came from the factory with Group 31s. He had a condescending attitude and loves to talk on the phone explaining how experienced he was. Meanwhile, he keeps sending me photos of their posted $239/hr labor rate as if that justified the misdiagnosis or poor service, rather than addressing the actual issue. It felt like a deflection rather than a solution. Thankfully, Savio his manager was able to step in, confirm the unit was indeed compatible with Group 31 batteries, and help me get the right battery installed immediately. I bought the battery myself and dropped it off for a quick, proper install--something that should've happened from the beginning. Although I'm having to pay for the diagnostics even though they have the authorization from the manufacturer to cover the diagnostics! To make matters worse, I was told they wouldn't cash the reimbursement check from the manufacturer (Thor), but they cashed it anyway, leaving me out $700 and damaging my relationship with Thor. I had to chase down Thor myself for clarification and deal with the fallout. Despite talking to them on June 26 and then explaining that they closed the case and zero checks would be cashed. July 16 and Thor confirms the check was indeed cashed. This whole experience left me feeling deceived, ignored, and frustrated. Between the incorrect technical advice, the lack of accountability, and the poor communication, I cannot recommend Leale's RV to anyone looking for honest, competent service. I'm just glad that I did not pay for them to upgrade my batteries at $1,800 because the coach already supports lithium batteries.

ONE STAR - AVOID AT ALL COSTS…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. We came here during a literal roadside crisis -- a tire blowout on our trailer, leaving us stranded, stressed, and vulnerable. This wasn't a casual "shopping around" visit. This was an emergency situation where basic human decency and professionalism should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, that is exactly what this place lacks. From the moment we arrived, the attitude was dismissive, cold, and openly rude. No greeting. No concern. No sense of urgency. Just irritation that we were even there. We explained the situation clearly: trailer disabled, equipment loaded, unsafe to continue driving. The response? Shrugs, short answers, and an unmistakable "not our problem" vibe. Instead of offering solutions, alternatives, or even a basic explanation, we were treated like an inconvenience. Questions were met with annoyance. Requests for help were brushed off. At no point did anyone in the office demonstrate the slightest bit of customer service or empathy -- something you'd expect especially from a tire shop that surely deals with breakdowns and blowouts every day. There was once gentleman, Benjamin, who did offer assistance and provided solutions to our situation but his supervisors discouraged his behaviors. Miguel especially was rude to my wife and my sister in law. What made this experience worse was the tone -- condescending, impatient, and borderline hostile. When people are already dealing with stress, danger, and unexpected costs, the last thing they need is to be spoken down to or treated like they're wasting your time. There was no effort to help us problem-solve. No "let's see what we can do." No professionalism. Just a clear message: we don't care. A tire shop should understand emergencies. A business should understand customers. This place understands neither. Warning to other Yelpers: If you ever find yourself broken down, hauling a trailer, or in a time-sensitive emergency -- do not come here expecting help, compassion, or basic courtesy. You will leave more frustrated than when you arrived. There are plenty of shops that know how to treat people with respect. This is not one of them. Consider this your warning.

There were about 6 months straight of homeless people living in RVs on all sides of the park and she didn't do anything about it because she claimed she couldn't, a RESIDENT actually got the city to kick them out, a resident did the job better than her, pathetic. There's a stray cat problem on the property, monica will see a litter get born and allow them to stay on whosever property they were born on instead of taking them to the shelter! And she gets upset at residents when the kittens grow up and reproduce more. There are MULTIPLE RESIDENTS who take the time out of their day to go to the shelter and take unneutered cats to get fixed because she won't do anything. She even knows of a resident who is poisoning animals but hasn't done anything about it, probably because it's getting rid of the cats! Even after over 6 PETS were killed! She advertises amenities THAT are NOT ACCESSIBLE. The pool has been open for maybe 2 months out of 5 years I've lived here. The game room is not open because the front office is never open. The laundry room is always dirty and it's been years since all of the washers and dryers worked. The gym is locked and not accessible, they claim you need to call the office to have them unlock it for you, the thing is the office number is just Monica's personal phone which she doesn't answer. I've went to the office to complain in person about 5 times but it's been closed on all separate occasions, so here I am writing this review. The bathrooms on site are all closed. There's a reason this company has multiple lawsuits all across California, simply look up harmony homes lawsuit and you'll see multiple class actions against them. This company is embarrassing and its parks like these that continue to make it look like a joke. I also saw an argument ensue at a meeting where a resident told the manager he didn't know there was a rule for a four foot fence and the husband started yelling and nearly assaulted the resident, the wife had to step in between them and I'm convinced he didn't fight the resident because there was another resident recording. How embarrassing.
