I took a two hour drive from Fresno to pick up my new Diamond C car trailer from Amber and Brad at 101 Trailer Sales yesterday. They were both "top drawer" and I was in and out in about 45 minutes or so. Brad took me around and showed me a couple of other options they had, but I went with my original choice and bought the Diamond C GTF 18 foot model. Not only was the service great, but they were asking a LOT less for the 2025 model that I got than some other places I was looking at online for 2023 and 2024 models of the otherwise exact same trailer. No nonsense, no hassle trailer dealer. I shopped multiple dealers looking for a very specific size trailer with a specific axle. Brad gave me a quote right away, and his price was slightly better than a couple other dealers. He had no problem telling me exactly how much each additional option would cost. I was very frustrated with other dealers who would ask which options I wanted, not tell me how much they would cost, and call back 2 days later with an outrageous quote, or not call back at all. Brad followed up with the manufacturer and made sure that the trailer would be exactly how I wanted it when ordering. I honestly don't know what the problem is with most trailer dealers, they seem to not really know how to run a business. But These guys have it figured out. What is better than a no-hassle trailer sales dealer? A no-hassle dealership with fantastic prices. I purchased a trailer here about three years ago. After choosing the one I wanted, they proceeded to move the other trailers out of the way to get mine (in the back). Unfortunately, they banged one of the sides while trying to shuffle their inventory around. The apologized profusely, and even discounted the trailer way below the negotiated price. Even though it was a lil banged up, after three years, my trailer has never given me any problems (no leaks, defects, etc). It has followed me to L.A. and back several times and even to Nevada. I purchased a trailer here a couple years ago and quickly began to realize that the trailer I bought wasn't suitable for my truck. A good salesman will ask the customer what he intends to do with the trailer and what kind of truck he would be working with if he's selling trailers. Looked around at a few trailer dealers in the bay area. Brad is very knowledgeable about all types of trailers. I had seen the trailer on his website and driving down the 101 and emailed him for a quote, he got back to me on the same day and I picked it up that same weekend. He even made sure we had everything we needed to tow it home, My father had forgotten to bring the wiring harness adapter. Overall I would highly recommend buying a trailer from Brad. I will probably need a new utility trailer in a few years and will go with him because transactions are easy and he is not a pushy salesman. After stopping at numerous RV/Trailer places to have a wiring harness and brake controller installed I struck out. Either the price was crazy (over $400) or they were booked out several weeks in advance. We were in a pinch and needed it installed before a camping trip and Val/101 trailers came through.
