I recently visited a friend in Chandler and stopped by Maple House for a caffeine fix. I ended up stopping twice more on a three day trip! This place is adorable, with tons of indoor and outdoor seating (as a bonus, lots of cute dogs visiting at any given time), delicious drinks (I recommend the brown sugar coconut latte), and friendly, excellent service. read more

Coffee is average but the pastries were yummy. Come early because seating is limited if you want to be in the patio and shade. I'll have to come and just meet inside. Can get a little noisy just depends on the crowd and day of the week. read more

Cute coffee shop in the heart of downtown chandler. Ambience is great with front and back patios. Coffee was good as well, but giving 1 star because the price of their pastries are outrageous. $12-15 for a croissant/muffin is ridiculous, I dont care what award winning chef you are. Thanks but no thanks... moving on and I won't be back. read more

This coffee house has the best vibe. Shop is beautiful and warm. The front and back patio is very beautiful. This is the type of coffee shop you can spend hours there. This was my first time there and can wait to go back. read more

Lovely coffee house. Beautiful outdoor space, great coffee. The avocado toast is HUGE and delicious. Very friendly staff. What are you waiting for? GO!!! read more

I really like this place. The location is amazing, the staff is very friendly, and the coffee is great. Definitely a regular stop for my weekend coffee read more

Disappointed. So much potential but attributes of cozy atmosphere and good location overshadowed by unfriendly, unwelcoming and ungrateful staff and mediocre drink and food. A simple hello and maybe even a smile and a thank you makes a difference in a customer's experience. Unfortunately my first visit will be my last. Too many other choices. read more

I got a matcha here since I love it but it tasted very bitter which I personally don't like. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming and it's always bustling with business. Very cute outside seating area! Wifi was very good and there's lots of charging areas so perfect for working. read more

Prices! Whoa, what the actual hell is going on here? The prices are so crazy high I don't understand or get it. Not sure where you get your coffee from. But your baristas aren't really 'gourmet' baristas. They don't budge much on the said drinks on the menu. They're not doing anything special or more than any other barista. Not to mention the 2 and 4 shot pull? You don't get a choice what or how you want your drink so again why is a coffee $8 I had asked what their syrups were they said Mona, I had asked about MILK ALTERNATIVES IF IT WERE AN UPCHARGE. Since it wasn't really listed anywhere The girl in the front said depends. Wait is there a charge or not? She said there isn't a charge if you get 1,2,whole milk. That's not a milk alternative that's not what I was asking. Prices 3/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Coffee 3.5/5 Staff 4/5 Avg rating 3.8/5 this is why I choose 3 stars final due to experience and prices but a very cool place Then she didn't know how much almond or oat whatever the heck you offer. I didn't even get a milk alternative because I asked her twice and I couldn't understand what was offered. I chose 2% but I haven't drank actual milk in years so it was irritated. I see you guys had a cool idea with choosing your own cup size. But that's not a general thing people are used to and zero explanation anywhere. I had also asked if there were food I was hungry and she pointed to the $9 pastries. -$9 for a pastry?? What makes these $9 pastries? Then what really made me annoyed was then the girl came out and asked "grilled cheese?" what I thought there wasn't anything but $9 pastries wtf? Then I saw two women share what looked like a charcuterie board or plate. It's so cute here though it's super busy not really anywhere to sit I had to walk and walk around sit in random places until people left which people take a while which is understandable because it's cute and cozy here I had also asked is there plugs outside, and the answer I got was very wishy washy "they're hard to find" -girl just say you don't have plugs here. Ha Atmosphere 5/5 absolutely adorable, Comfortable amazing and great! read more

This place has such an amazing concept from the offerings to the atmosphere. The coffee was great however the place fell short in service. The workers on Friday night appeared indifferent to helping despite it being g pretty different. They seemed more interested in their phones than helping customers. As a result we grabbed something and left. If this improved, we would consider going back to support. read more

Their consistency on coffee has really pissed me off. The first time I been there; it was one of the best coffees I had. The past two times have been really inconsistent and I spent at least $30 each time. The pastries are so damn good but I think I'm crazy for paying $10.50+tax for a danish. Service is normal and environment is a TikTokers dream. The line to order crowds the room and makes it really unpleasant; so get there early. I think I will give it a one more try before going down the street. read more

Awesome ambiance and such a great place to either meet a friend or get some work done. They have a yummy coffee menu or cocktail bar if you're in that kinda mood! Highly recommend. read more

Love it!! I come here and study all the time and the vibes are great. The baristas are extremely nice and friendly especially Nigella!! My sister and I love her positive energy, she's the sweetest. read more

Menu is pretty limited, for us it was pretty but just ok as a hangout. All group tables are wasted with a single person on a lab top.

There is no contact option on their website. No email address either. Just a phone. Fancy pics of the "team" but they obviously don't want to hear from you. Chelsea's replies here on yelp leave much to be desired. Signs of poor management. The pricing and ops will totally screw this place. Similar to their sister concept Elliot's, they think you'll overpay for mediocre. It won't work. read more

Great coffee and nice snacks! I liked the seating outside and they have great coffee. read more

Super awesome coffee joint. Ughh this place is so good I don't even want to review cause I don't want the secret out. Ok so I've pretty much tried every coffee shop in the East Valley and I honestly I'm so excited about this one. First time there today- and my experience was so great. Beautiful location. Great seating options for the cooler months and I had the coconut brown super latte which was superb. In addition I had a pastry which was essentially puff pastry with other tomatoes and cheese- guys its was so great. So great can't wait to come again. read more

Craving for some good hot coffee arrived at 8:51 pm and it would be nice to know they stopped serving hot coffee 15 mins before closing time. Was a little disappointed making that drive. read more

Cute place! Coffee was pretty good. I expected the service to be warm and welcoming but it wasn't. Definitely could be better with that!

What a beautiful cafe with great ambiance, fast service and great coffee . It has a nice outdoor seating area. Very enjoyable experience.

Wanted to love this place, but it's a no for me. Had some high hopes for Maple House since Hidden House (sister concept) is so great, but it was a miss on more than one occasion. From the cleanliness to the lack of knowledge on drinks, we were disappointed. Talk about unprofessionalism having a customer go behind the bar during business hours to "experiment" and make their own drink, tacky, but I guess that's what happens when a bunch of young adults are running the place. Coffee wasn't great, luke warm and too much foam. Matcha wasn't mixed properly and was way too sweet, didn't even finish it. Bar stools weren't too comfy, way too high for a bar, and bulky which feels like the person next to you is on your lap. Overall, if you want to play games outdoors, sit by a fire, and enjoy a mediocre coffee I'd give it a try, but we won't be back. read more

Amazing ambiance both inside and out. The staff is so welcoming and helps select a wine or beer that meets with your mood or tastes.

The cutest coffee shop In chandler!! We came for coffee In the morning but I would totally come back later In the day for their wine bar also. They have such a cute indoor and outdoor space. Definitely recommend checking this place out! I got the lavender latte which was delicious ! read more

Great coffee great ambience. They need to have more pastries in the later afternoon! We like having a place to go that can offer coffee and dessert . read more

Visited yesterday around 1 pm. Line was long. People are standing waiting for their name to be called and you don't know who is in line or who is not. After finally getting to the register I was told they had no pastries. This was extremely disappointing. There was only one person taking orders. My dirty chai latte had a chocolate flavor which I wasn't expecting. It was not overly sweet and I did enjoy it, just different. They do have oat milk, skim milk and 2 percent in addition to whole milk. Outdoor seating in the front and back. Bar seating and tables inside. I would try again as I'm eager to try the pastries. read more

The drinks and food are delicious but they haven't refined their operation yet, which ruins the customer experience. The line wait was 30 minutes and the drink wait was another 20 minutes. You then have to wait for your name to be called, so you can't enjoy their patio area - you're stuck standing, because the line blocks the indoor seating. They only have one cashier (great, customer service, but not expedient), and the line is at least 34 people long (it wraps the entire building and is out the back door) and people kept cutting in line. In all, a very frustrating experience. If you come, come early and be prepared to wait. read more

Cute spot with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is always friendly yet fast. Haven't had a bad coffee yet :)

Great Coffee, Great Outdoor seating. Good beer selection and their grilled cheese is pretty solid.

This coffee spot is every girl's dream coffee spot. It's SO cute, the girls/guys are all super friendly. And it's kids friendly (lots of outdoor seating/bags to play). Yes, it has its busy times, but they have great coffee & an amazing breakfast sandwich, and it's so cute, so of course it's going to attract a lot of people! They're fast though guys, don't worry! read more

Really cute place with a good ambience. The maple pecan sticky bun was great. However the Brie grilled cheese was not what I was expecting at all. I would suggest changing the description of it because it is very misleading. It said it was brie bacon jam, it comes out with cheddar cheese and it tasted like there was jalapeños on it. Also to be honest the staff wasn't very friendly, made me feel like I was an inconvenience to be there. I know everyone can have an off day but it was just odd. read more

Great Coffee, yummy Breakfast!!! Such a cute place to come on the weekends to unwind.

First time trying this place the other day and would have to say it's my favorite place to get my coffee now. Definitely would recommend getting the little lottie which is a white chocolate pistachio base. It's definitely on the sweeter side maybe next time to get it less sweet. The staff was very nice and helpful the place looked AMAZING cool little chill spot to hang out with friends or family while drinking some coffee and eating some bread in the morning. It is definitely the more expensive coffee to be honest it's more expensive than Starbucks and Dutch, but for now on I will come here to get my coffee! read more

I understand the Maple House is having their soft opening and I want to love this place as it's a beautiful environment. However, we were over-charged for beer and my husband was asked to wait at the counter, a prolonged time, until they corrected their computer system! He was also, given a pour of something he did not order. When he returned to the counter to ask about this, he received no apologies from the servers or from management, but they did have the corrected tab for him! We'll revisit due to the beautiful outdoor space and hopefully, with experience, the above errors will be corrected. read more

Their drinks were very good, I did get a chocolate almond croissant, it was yummy for sure, but it was $12 and I really think that is crazy for a croissant read more

Such a wonderful addition to dwntwn chandlef! Love all the seating options and comfortable bar area. They were super busy the whole time we were there on a week day. Can't comment on quality of drinks and food as I just met a friend who seemed to enjoy her coffee! The fire pit, fireplace, and space heaters were definitely a plus to a great outdoor space! read more

First of all the decor is nice, it's got a modern trendy vibe appearance on the outside but once that novelty wears off, there is much lacking. All of the staff's vibe was a turn off, they presented as young & entitled except one gal with blond hair, she seemed genuine & kind. All the others we interacted with were dismissive, not responsive & unhelpful. We had to ask 3 times for our receipt. One gal in our party did not get her order & when it came late "several" minutes after everyone else had their food it was wrong. She ordered a pumpkin coffee cake & got a pumpkin pastry. 30 minutes later they came to our table and said they didn't charge us for the pumpkin pastry (even after repeating the order back when we initially placed the order) they should have just given us the pastry at that point.. In addition, the menu is "extremely" limited. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was extremely dry and cold (not even warm) I ordered the garlic aioli on the side but didn't get it & didn't realize it because of all the issues we were trying to get help with. The prices are extremely high for the quality and taste of food you get. As an example; the Purely Sedona Spring water is $8. There are lots of expensive "cool" places to go if that's your thing where food "tastes" good. Sadly I had been wanting to go here for a long time attracted to the building & yard decor, however the disappointment was very real. In addition I went to the restroom w/out my phone & almost had a panic attack because I couldn't unlock the door. In my panic, I started knocking on the glass. The locking mechanism is flawed in addition to the door being very heavy made it difficult for me to unlock the door. That has the potential to be problematic especially if people are drinking, please have it looked at. As customers it's reasonable to expect better customer service and quality of food before spending our hard earned money here. I do not recommend this place. read more
