01/09/2023 UPDATE - NOTE: This business is now known as WHITEWATER EXPRESS CAR WASH After visiting this business, I headed home and while things were fresh in my mind, I wrote the review below as well as made comment on a contact form on the Corporate Website. Now, believe me, or not. But my Yelp motto "NO FAKE NEWS AND/OR REVIEWS" is accurate. My visit on the 7th did not go well as originally noted below. What was impressive in EVERY sense of the word, was that within 2 hours on Saturday the 7th, I received a phone call from the Area Director for Michigan and Ohio Whitewater locations to discuss the situation. We agreed to talk this morning and I spent 20 minutes with him discussing the situation. He candidly shared quite a bit of information that I had no way of knowing prior to this call. I appreciate his candor, customer service attitude, and wanting to "do the right thing." No, I did NOT get a free coupon book or anything of the kind to update this review. Just a commitment that they will try better next time. Taking over an existing business is rough and then undertaking a complete rebranding of the same is even harder. But if you can't serve the customer in the process, well....... Personally, I will watch for some progress with the things he mentioned and then I will perhaps visit the business once again. It would be inappropriate to mention some of the plans that he told me about; I will leave that to their marketing/social media people. But I was a bit impressed. There you go - continuing to provide YELP users with the most accurate reviews that I can offer. Sorry for the length of this read. Thanks. ========================================================= 01/07/2023 NOTE: This carwash is now known as WHITEWATER EXPRESS CAR WASH Normally, I wash my car myself - either in the driveway or at one of the two fairly decent self-serve car washes here in Adrian. Today, it was 32° out, I really wanted to get a "couple of the layers of dirt" off quickly and I had other things that I needed to do. SO MANY things wrong - I will NOT be returning to this business and I STRONGLY recommend that you do not do business here either. 1.) The person at the booth helped with the self-pay (I didn't get close enough to the kiosk.) Sometimes grey hair works to one's advantage! -smile- A nice guy with great customer service skills. But he was the only bright spot in the visit. 2.) As you pull in towards the entry door, you can see two guys working the "pre-wash" application and initial pressure-wash wand. The younger guy on the passenger side seemed to be doing pretty well. But you could see him watching the guy on the driver's side with a look of disdain on his face. I soon learned why. 3.) The guy on the driver's side was INCREDIBLY rude. Yelling to hurry up (sorry, as I approach the guide rails, I actually LIKE my wheels and avoid rubbing them.) And then he gave a "2-second squirt" of the pre-wash and caught maybe 6 feet on the side of my Jeep Grand Cherokee with the wand. A complete waste of his effort, time, and money. 4.) Then I realize that they use carpet "strips" in the wash bay. When the car is dirty (and with poor prep in the pre-wash) it is a guaranteed way to scratch paint. 5.) The paving at the exit ramp (oh, the dryers were ok) is sloped INTO to wash and leaves a puddle...to drive your "clean" car through. AND it is a pot-hole city several times a year. 6.) The pricing is INCREDIBLY expensive for what you receive. I relocated here from Los Angeles and the prices charged here are, in many scenarios, more expensive than a typical LA car wash and the service is much worse. This place is a joke!! We watched the car ahead of us go through while two guys pretended to wash the back off, hitting literally 10% of the vehicle. Our vehicle was ridiculous, the front end , mirrors, both sides and tailgate were ALL filthy. We get a better wash when it rains. I would give ZERO STARS. Went to get truck washed on 27 JAn 2020. After I went thru the wash I Checked my truck and was not satisfied with the service. I pulled in and asked Ray if I could run truck thru again because it was not clean...very disrespectful...spoke with manager Ben with the same results, was told to leave after I asked for owners name which Ben stated was Jeff Jeff. I called the number on their flier. A lady took mY number and the owner Jeff Jeff..that is what Ben said his NA America was. They are super rude there was one young kid that works there and he has to be as arrogant as he can be. Place was remodeled a year ago and only half of the vacuums work. And oh boy don't asked to have your vehicle. washed again. And if you leave a hitch in your vehicle when going through the wash they turn the machine off so that doesn't come around the back. read more

Spent $18 to have my truck washed at this location. What a disappointment! I got home and noticed the whole passenger side of my truck was not touched. Just as dirty as before! What a ripoff! Also the tailgate of the truck was still dirty. WTH? I know not to go there again.. read more

They opened with all new equipment, but the quality of work has deceased!! I had to go through two times to get this result (see image). I usually go to wash my wheel wells and tailgate at another car wash by hand before going to this one, but that day, I did not due to time constraints. I called, the main office in Toledo stated, "We have told the guys to focus on the windshield and top of vehicles. Customers were complaining that it was taking too long to clean the wheel wells. If they aren't clean the first time, all we can recommend is that you go through twice". Wow, we don't pay a monthly fee to go through twice and come out like this. Not to mention, they never clean the front or back of your car (just spray) and the brushes never reach them either. My tailgate is never clean and bugs still on the front in the summer. What happened to pride in your business. Found another car wash in the area that takes more pride in their business. I have cancelled my monthly plan. read more

Three excellent gentlemen employees helped me this evening. Despite the fact that it was a Saturday night at 7 PM they were very professional and did an excellent job with my car. Paid for under carriage wash. Extra, mud still on edges of back of car.complained to management he refused to clean it

My truck was damaged by this car wash. Contacted owner Jeff who at first seemed concerned and told me to contact him the next day. I texted pics of the damage and a pic of my receipt to him as he requested. I attempted to call him and got voice mail on several attempts. He finally responded to my text message about meeting up after I got off work to show him the damage. Jeff did not show up at the arranged meeting place instead sending someone else without telling me. This guy was rude and instantly without letting me talk began stating,"We are not responsible and will not pay for the damage". I tried calling Jeff one more time and again got his voicemail with no return call. His guy told me it won't hurt them a bit if I tell others about the way they treated me. Had a coupon for a works wash for only $4.99 (5.00) went through wash and it wash a cheap wash .....It cost me $5.00 and was not for the works wash. I guess they figured I was a woman so why would I know! I have had trouble there before. If it had not been a nice day and the car wash full I would have complained , did not want people to wait....just goes to show you, how people do business in some places......why put out coupons if your not going to honor them.......Besides they never get the back side of my car clean....only when my husband is with me ,do they wash it down ! Went here after winning a free basic car wash . . . They wipe down most of the car before it goes thru the soft cloth automatic. Then after the blowers, they finish it with hand drying. If I lived in the area, I would go back. read more

Worst customer service, I've been a loyal customer for about 3 1/2 years today tho, Ben the gentleman who runs the place is one of the rudest, cockiest people I've ever encountered. Went through there today, purchased the works wash which is their most expensive, 'best one to get EVERYTHING off of your vehicle' says the gentleman who took my money. So I give them the benefit of the doubt. Go through the wash, get out of the wash, walk around my vehicle which still had some dirt around the door area, on the back hatch still had mud, the tire area still had white stains from the salt. I go back to ask if they could do a rewash of the most BASIC wash because you know the gentleman said it would get EVERYTHING off. Ha! They denied my claim, and told me to move to the side because customers were waiting!!! Appalled I say, sir aren't I a customer? 10 minutes ago I was when I gave you $14.00 but now since you've taken my money And my vehicle is still dirty I'm just a spectator! UNBELIEVABLE! So i called this place to make an appointment to get my car washed, and to my surprise, they picked up the phone and hung up, then i called back, and the guy who picked up said don't call back here. Are these people crazy? Thank god he hung up just goes to show how their service would be!!! DISGUSTED and I will never go here! read more

One of the best car washes I have ever used. They really get the car clean and the HEATED drying is very nice!!! Also, they run specials during the week. Even though we don't live close to them we will drive a little extra because the service is great. read more
