The entire staff is SO helpful if you need help deciding on a gift, and if you're lucky, you'll be greeted by a parade of small dogs upon entering! If you shop long enough, you will certainly notice the schedule of events and workshops posted in the store (or, more likely, a workshop that's in progress!). It's an impressive list with a wide variety of crafting options and skill levels. I've done two workshops so far and attended a handful of events, each one was absolutely fantastic! And last but certainly not least - there's a great cafe in the back with big tables for laptop-ing, chatting, writing - whatever you fancy, you can do it here, and with a delicious cup of coffee/tea! I went into the store…read moretoday to purchase some candles (they have some great ones) and as soon as I walked in the lady present commented that her boss was going to be mad at her because she had sold a table. I laughed and simply acknowledged what she said. She then commented that while I was in the store she would enlist my help to move the table. No asking, just assuming I would help move this table for her. Mind you the table was ON TOP of another table. When I responded that I may not be in there long enough to assist she got very clearly irritated and had some rude remarks about me not wanting to move the table. Ultimately I left with empty hands because I no longer felt comfortable shopping there considering I had no intention of moving the table. I have never been requested, as a paying (or potentially paying) customer, to do "work" for someone employed there. And if I was, I would expect an understanding if I didn't feel comfortable doing it. It may be in the owners interest to speak with this employee about what is and is not good customer service because what I experienced today would NOT fit the bill of it. I now know that if I see a little dog in the door, not to go in because the person working there may not allow me to simply enjoy shopping.

Communication was slow and inconsistent throughout the project. She never follows up. I have to chase her always kindly please help me. I am in the store and she just not replying. Or she replies when I already left the store, which means I have to go back again to the store to collect the item still with that being said I didn't mind it because I understand she is a mother of kids. She would only contact me late at night, at times that suited her--usually after her children were asleep or while she was doing household chores. I didn't initially mind this, as I considered her more than just a designer--I saw her as a friend or even like a sister, especially since she was referred to me by my sister-in-law. Suzan charged me per area, however, she didn't complete the work. Even the renders links she provided were missing items. For example, I never received curtain link or instructions for where to place the décor items she told me to buy, rug for one of the areas never got the link for it. She charged per area, living room 950 $, kitchen/dining 380 $ however now she claims she finished that time located for me I paid in full for the main floor kitchen/ dining she never finished it. I still don't have chair selection or direction on Where to put all the accessories she asked me to buy. I need the link for the curtain and rug that's my right since she never sent them to me. I just found out this evening that you accused me of leaving a fake review. Suzan keep deleting my review by calling my review fake review. Please be careful when working with this designer.
