I really love this place but I had to dock stars for the customer service. I went into the store today to purchase some candles (they have some great ones) and as soon as I walked in the lady present commented that her boss was going to be mad at her because she had sold a table. I laughed and simply acknowledged what she said. She then commented that while I was in the store she would enlist my help to move the table. No asking, just assuming I would help move this table for her. Mind you the table was ON TOP of another table. When I responded that I may not be in there long enough to assist she got very clearly irritated and had some rude remarks about me not wanting to move the table. Ultimately I left with empty hands because I no longer felt comfortable shopping there considering I had no intention of moving the table. I have never been requested, as a paying (or potentially paying) customer, to do "work" for someone employed there. And if I was, I would expect an understanding if I didn't feel comfortable doing it. It may be in the owners interest to speak with this employee about what is and is not good customer service because what I experienced today would NOT fit the bill of it. I now know that if I see a little dog in the door, not to go in because the person working there may not allow me to simply enjoy shopping. read more

Such a fun shop! This is one of my go to places for gifts, especially if I'm completely at a loss for someone. They have both fun & practical items, but all are cute and nicely packaged. The team there has even helped me design custom gift baskets with assorted items before. Super friendly people and a great, rotating selection of merchandise. read more

This is another hidden place in Grosse Pointe that I stumbled upon with no intentions of ever going in... but something about new Grosse Pointe businesses they have a way to draw you in by your curiosity...Or the smell in the air of a new business cooking up something awesome... Or this little place where I could smell Nag Champa incense coming through the door that led me in like something out of Alice in Wonderland movie clip... It has an Eclectic feel there's so much to offer here from the chocolates that are in little tasting cups with little spoons for you to test taste or the local flare of the items that they sell hear from the Detroit beard balm or the crazy pin-up soap that's locally-made are the random deer antlers on the wall they had incense and soaps and stuff to smudge your house along with beautiful shells I'm not too sure what type of store to call this time I think I would classify it as...( "gift shop" / I don't know where to shop today... but I need to spend my money.) I love it it's neat it's so unique I'll be back be sure to check out the clearance section in the way back after all I do love myself a good deal so you knowing me that's the first place I ended up employees are super nice and helpful I can't wait to meet the owner. read more

What a darling neighborhood shop! They strive to have something for everyone. Their candles are all soy with cotton wicks... with so many wonderful scents! They have a great selection of greeting cards which is so nice since there is no where else to go for them in the neighborhood. They carry soaps and jewelry and candy and tea and honey for that hard to buy for person. Well you just never know what you'll find! The staff are lovely, inside and out. They always make me feel that they are grateful I came. We are so fortunate to have this little gem close by. read more

This is a beautiful store with a ton of interesting knick knacks, from candles to candy to cards and decorations and more. The store definitely has its own aesthetic, and it's easy to get lost and spend lots of time looking through everything. I wanted to highlight how awesome the employees here are. I spent some time picking out cards with little quotes on them, along with a few other decorations, and ended up forgetting the quote cards on the counter after paying. The employee tried to reach me later that day, and ended up driving to my house after the store closed to personally deliver them. read more
