Whoever designed this children's bookstore has quite a vision for making one's dreams come true! It's a spectacular space! From the murals, to the spiral staircase, design leading up to a sun, to the wide open spaces- this store is a treat! They have everything from books, to puppets, to trinkets, and almost anything a pint sized book lover desires. You can even grab coffee and a few other treats inside their café. I visited on a Sunday with my grandchildren, and it was quite busy. There are cozy places to sit. Comfortable chairs to read countless books to choose from! Definitely stop in and surely you'll find a few treasures! No one really offered help or asked if we wanted anything so I can't speak to how well their service is- There is metered street parking, although it's free on Sunday. read more

I brought my nephew here to encourage his newfound love of reading. He knew exactly what he was looking for but unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. They were willing to order the books but he found something else instead. I'm in love with the vibe there, but he's 6 and harder to impress. They have books for all ages up to YA, I saw many different genres so I'd think there would be something for everyone. Puppets, bookmarks, games, puzzles and totes are some other offerings. What a gem with such delightful staff. My Littles and I enjoyed the books and crannies meant to be explored! The art alone is worth the visit, but it's wall-to-wall books and goodies for every child. We left with four books ourselves and I so desperately wanted a puppet that I begrudgingly left behind. We will be back! Thanks for the fun! read more

This is an adorable bookstore geared to kids - and their parents of course. They have books for toddlers to teens and beyond. All the books are arranged to be at the right height for the littles to peruse them. There are also games and stuffed animals - who can resist a stuffed lemur or flamingo? I took my 14 month old granddaughter there and let her wander around - which is the whole idea - and she found 2 books that she wouldn't let go of, so I guess those were her choices. The staff there was great - even the young teens - they were super friendly and said hi to all the little kids, my gd loved waving at them. There are cute painted murals everywhere, chairs and benches to sit on, so the whole store just feels super welcoming. There is also a coffee and snack shop in the back. I'll try that out when my gd is a bit older and able to sit and eat a snack. Please visit and support this local gem! read more

This is the cutest little children's book shop I've ever seen! I was on the hunt for a couple books to give as gifts but all the bookshops in the area that showed up on the map were closed. Luckily, my husband and I were driving down Kercheval and spotted this fun, sweet spot with a huge variety of children's board books and picture books, chapter books and novels for older kids, and some toys. The artwork on the walls is just gorgeous, and the store's design is unique and fun. When you enter it feels like you're stepping into a fantastical world and going on an adventure. I was able to find a book I'd tried to order online, and one of the lovely ladies working there recommended another great, age-appropriate book. There is even a little coffee shop (Cafe Meem's) at the back, which unfortunately we didn't have time to check out but certainly will next time! read more

It's a bougie place for sure, very cute, not very toddler friendly. But it is kid friendly. There are many small things no one should touch and that can be stressful for parents of littles. The book selection is lovely, the cafe is over priced but they know there aren't many coffee places in the area so they are the true winners here. read more

This place is so cute. I've always thought it would be cool to have a bookstore for just kids, I just wish it was closer to my house. They have so many great books to get little ones and it's a very kid friendly environment. Everything in the bookstore is priced very reasonably too. In the back they have a little cafe that they sell drinks and ice cream. On certain days you can bring your kids in for book readings. Such a genius idea. read more
