One of the stops was Mary's donuts in Santee. I had originally asked if they had plain donuts and she said no with a rude tone. I kept my composure and said okay. I selected the glazed old fashioned to replace the plain donuts she said they did not have. This woman was an older woman behind the counter . Right after she told me that, a younger girl also was working there but she was on the sales floor, and I have no idea what she was doing but she said check in the back there and that she saw plain donuts. So, the woman goes to get the plain donuts and I also told her I needed the crumb donut holes. She said what loudly since she didn't hear me. But instead of loudly saying what why wouldn't you ask a customer can you please repeat what you said . Is that asking too much to have manners when dealing with customers? I don't think so. I was taught to have manners and I always hope if you go to a business to spend money the workers will be grateful and nice. Well, this was not the treatment received today. So,she puts the doughnuts in the bags, one bad for the regular plain ones and the other bag for the donut holes . I decide to have a few of the donut holes, but when I looked in my bag they were glazed donut holes and not the crumb that I had asked for two times while she said what to me instead of excuse me can you repeat it. I was so darn upset, I walked out! I will never be coming back to the Santee location again. This treatment was unacceptable! She is not representing Mary's donuts in a way the owner, Mary would be proud . In a competitive world of donuts, I can go anywhere but had chosen this place. I will go elsewhere next time.
