    Cosmo is definitely more chill

We were once overwhelmed because our new dog Cosmo was scared and reactive to the world. Our first, older dog had heath issues and we wanted her to have a companion. We found Cosmo at the local shelter and my daughters recognized that he needed a good family because of his timid demeanor. We knew we needed help after Cosmo ripped open his wire crate and chewed up our new carpet. My wife found Jordan because of her credentials and working with larger breeds. She set proper expectations that Cosmo would not make a miracuolus transformation to a secret agent K9. Cosmo would always be a scared puppy. However, Jordan reassured us that she would equip us with the tools and techniques to make him to respond better to us and the world. Jordan is great because she sends updates and videos. She has slowly but surely has converted our scared boy to Captain Cosmo. He may still be scared of pickle balls and the sound of little kids having fun, but he now responds to our commands and other tools when other dogs are present. Recently Cosmo faced an aggressive 150lb pound dog that was barking at our other dog. He wanted to react but I firmly called his name and he got in down position. This is proof that Jordan laid the foundation for Cosmo to grow on and to help us manage his reactivity and build his confidence. Thanks so much Jordan!

There's so many positives about Aardvark's. We take our 6-yr old cocker spaniel (see attached…read morephoto) to daycare at minimum 1x week & it's the best thing for us & our fur baby. Here's our review: The staff is very knowledgeable, kind & very loving towards our baby & our family. I always feel comfortable leaving her w/ the staff whether it's for a full day or overnight visits. Our dog loooooves the staff. Maybe it's the treats LOL - Either way, she's in good hands. The cost is reasonable, in comparison to other mobile daycare providers. I prefer consistency, and Aardvark provides that. The staff and owner are very professional. What I loved most was the "progress report" the owner provided me one day. It warmed my heart to know how involved the owner is & how comfortable my pup has become with the other dogs. I also like how they have separate areas for the large, small & medium pups & lounge area for pups that may be older & want to be left alone. There's a space for everyone ! The location/facility is HUGE & is conveniently located on Mare Island. If you're looking for a safe daycare facility for your fur baby , look no further - schedule your consultation. It was the best thing for us.

We all had different ways of how to train him and it was causing a rift in the family. I was turned down by some trainers until I came across Jonathan Wong's page. He was local, he was fast to get back to me and he was willing to give us a chance after everything I told him. Kody still has a long way to go and I will continue with Jonathan as his trainer, but it is night and day after three months of training with Jonathan. He was dog and people aggressive, to the point we had to avoid them entirely. We can now go for walks, albeit we move opposite of any dog and can keep walking without any barking or pulling. He was always actively pulling on the leash and bad at recall. He is loose leashed now and responds with recall with our daughter. In the end I had to get use to the idea that Kody was a crate or muzzle dog when it came to large crowds or people in our home. I felt awful but Jonathan was so supportive and positive as I came to terms with it. I hope as we continue to train with Jonathan and Kody builds his confidence that soon things might change for him. Jonathan has such a kind soul and so encouraging when it comes to both us and Kody. I cannot thank Jonathan enough for what he has done for us. He left solid foundations for us to grow on. Kody is such a sweet and smart boy, and we always want the best for him. Jonathan truly is the best.
