We had adopted our Kody boy 8 months ago from a shelter. It was a very hard five months trying to get him settled with a routine. We all had different ways of how to train him and it was causing a rift in the family. I was turned down by some trainers until I came across Jonathan Wong's page. He was local, he was fast to get back to me and he was willing to give us a chance after everything I told him. Kody still has a long way to go and I will continue with Jonathan as his trainer, but it is night and day after three months of training with Jonathan. He was dog and people aggressive, to the point we had to avoid them entirely. We can now go for walks, albeit we move opposite of any dog and can keep walking without any barking or pulling. He was always actively pulling on the leash and bad at recall. He is loose leashed now and responds with recall with our daughter. In the end I had to get use to the idea that Kody was a crate or muzzle dog when it came to large crowds or people in our home. I felt awful but Jonathan was so supportive and positive as I came to terms with it. I hope as we continue to train with Jonathan and Kody builds his confidence that soon things might change for him. Jonathan has such a kind soul and so encouraging when it comes to both us and Kody. I cannot thank Jonathan enough for what he has done for us. He left solid foundations for us to grow on. Kody is such a sweet and smart boy, and we always want the best for him. Jonathan truly is the best. read more

Yep, Jonathan knows his stuff. Highly recommend. Truth be told, my puppy (7 month Labrador) isn't too difficult, but Jonathan got through to her quickly and made me feel like the pup wasn't such a menace. read more

Jonathan was very, very good. My spouse and I found a puppy not to far from our house. The pup was hiding in a bush and upon pulling him out and knocking on various doors, posting on social media, and check if he was chipped, we concluded someone had just left this pup. After deciding to keep him and not knowing anything about dog training, we decided to look for some formal training classes. The group class at PetCo did not fair too well so private lessons were the next step, We had one assessment lesson and four lessons afterwards. The things we learned, the questions Jonathan was able to answer were all fantastic. The pup is about a year old now and if we did not have formal training, who knows what state his behavior will be. We are very grateful for the time, care, and lessons we were given to help train our dog and perhaps look forward to a couple more lessons here and there. read more

There aren't enough great things to say about Jonathan. Our dog was very anxious and high strung leading to him nipping at people and other pets. I believe we worked with Jonathan for 5 sessions total, and it has made a world of difference. It feels like we have a brand new dog! He's now confident, playful, more obedient, and relaxed. The work we did with Jonathan changed the atmosphere in our home. Everyone is less stressed and hyper vigilant. Jonathan was promptly on time for every session, he was communicative, and accommodating. It was truly a pleasure working with him. read more

We had seen Jonathan training another dog in our neighborhood and we are so glad we asked him for a business card! We adopted our dog from Milo in Point Richmond in August 2023. She's a corgi, pit bull, cattle dog mix named Jada and is missing an eye. She was found in the streets of Fresno and has a lot of reactivity issues. We worked with other trainers before who weren't the best for Jada's needs. We are so happy with Jonathan's training! He knew from the consultation that she wasn't mean, her bark wasn't threatening and her missing an eye plays a big part in why she is the way she is. Just from that one session, we learned how to properly walk her with a prong collar and Jada instantly got it and learned to walked by us and not pull us the entire time! We are always carrying our treat pouch and clicker to counter-condition her to dogs and things she would bark at before, and it's helped so much. We were so amazed at how quickly Jada caught on. Jonathan gave us the right tools and ways to correct and train our baby. He's also big on graduating her up from a prong collar to a martingale and eventually just using a flat collar. I'd recommend him to anyone that's looking for training for their dog, no matter the situation or age. He's been wonderful to work with and we'd book him again in a heartbeat if we needed a refresher for Jada or wanted to work on something else. read more

I found Jonathan on Yelp one week after we got our 6 month old Pomeranian puppy, Hazel. I was concerned we weren't going to be able to keep the puppy, as I failed to realize how difficult it was going to be. We needed to work on potty training amongst many other things. I was overwhelmed. After the phone consultation, I was immediately relieved and felt reassured that we would be able to keep our sweet dog, given the tools that Jonathan would equip us with. He came to our house and after just one session, I felt so much more confident in what to do. He gave me and my family the tools we needed to be Hazel's leaders. We worked on crate training, potty training, social interactions, and basic commands. After every session Jonathan followed up with emailed written bullet points of what we had worked on. This was so helpful, because it really is the humans that need the training. He is giving you so much amazing information during the session, it can be overwhelming to try and remember it all. He made it easy and almost effortless. The biggest win for us was our last session with Jonathan. I had planned for my Dad to come over, because Hazel had been barking at him for a long time every time he came over to my house, as well as acting scared of him. Jonathan coached me through the whole interaction, from the ring of the doorbell, to only a short while later, Hazel being completely calm and loving towards my Dad. It was miraculous!!! Jonathan is truly an amazing dog trainer, and I would recommend him to anyone with any type of dog. I really can't put into words how appreciative I am to Jonathan. We love Hazel SO much and she has melded into our family seamlessly since working with Jonathan. Thank you Pack Leader Dog Training!!! read more

We had 4 private training sessions, including the evaluation in January and February of 2024 with Jonathan and our 4 year old mixed Lab, Neena. We adopted her during covid and had several positive reinforcement group training classes that worked for some basic obedience prior to meeting Jonathan. Neena joined our family when she was 1 and a half years old and had already been house trained but also had habits like jumping on people and pawing at them and it got only worse post pandemic as we had very little people coming over to the house. When we started having guests over she would bark aggressively, lunge/jump on them, paw at their ankles and stalk them around the house and had a very hard time settling with her high anxiety. When Jonathan first arrived at our home, Neena was already much more relaxed than usual and with Jonathans clear guidance we started to learn how to train ourselves in creating clear commands for Neena. After several months of continued practice with the e-collar we finally had our elderly in laws visit and Neena was like a different dog, she stopped barking after a few minutes, stayed in her 'place'/bed when we asked her to and was able to relax enough to sleep and not even bark when our guests came through a couple days later. It's been such a relief and we're so grateful for the support and skillfulness Jonathan brings to the training. He is very patient, understanding, collaborative and knowledgable and we highly recommend him! read more

My partner and I were going back and forth on hiring a dog trainer for Floki, our doberman, and after many google/yelp searches, we decided Jonathan seemed like a good fit because he has a lot of experience with working dogs. After the first session, Floki's leash walking already improved tremendously on the prong collar and we have even started walking Floki through certain areas just on a flat collar. Another big thing that I wanted to work on was being more comfortable using the e-collar. Jonathan showed us how to find the correct setting and most importantly showed us the timing in saying the command and pressing/releasing the e-collar stimulation. He also taught us how to eventually phase Floki off of the e-collar. With 5 sessions, Floki's attentiveness to our commands has improved tremendously and we're able to mentally stimulate Floki through training so he's much calmer throughout the day. Lastly, it also taught my partner and I effective ways of training that Floki is responsive to! I highly recommend Jonathan, if you're looking for a dog trainer! He was attentive, easy to schedule sessions with, and fun to work with! read more

It's difficult to express just how thankful my wife and I for getting Jonathan's help with our new pup!! If you're unsure about how to read your dog's behavior, how to be a responsible owner, or how to make adjustments in your own life to do right by your pup, Jonathan is 100% your guy. When we adopted an 18m old australian shepherd (Moose) that struggled with anxiety and didn't know how to interact with other dogs, we constantly worried about doing the wrong thing. There's almost too much information online, and we weren't sure whether the advice we were given by our friends/family was necessarily right. Jonathan offered us a strong framework/mental model for understanding Moose's behavior AND a concrete plan for training the right way. As others have said, Jonathan is thorough, intentional, and incredibly structured in his approach. Beyond that though, Jonathan is a wonderful listener and acknowledges the nuances that make dog ownership a tricky affair. Some examples: - How should we interpret our dog's whining when we crate him? - How do we react when our dog lunges/barks at another dog on the street? - Can we let our dog off leash? If not, how do we train our dog so that we can? - What situations should we avoid to ensure our dog is safe? - How do you reinforce training? How often? What situations tell you you're on the right/wrong track? Jonathan gives it to you straight when you need it, and puts your concerns to rest when you don't need to worry. If you're on the fence, I hope this testimonial helps in a small way because i'd gladly recommend him without hesitation based on the progress we've seen. read more

We had reached out to Jonathan to train our 6 month old cane corso puppy. Jonathan was overall very professional and knowledgeable. He gave great recommendations that would fit our lifestyle and the outcome we wanted for our puppy. For our sessions we worked on crate training, place training, basic commands and leash/heel work. For our puppy heel and Leah training was more difficult due to our puppy's personality and breed but Jonathan gave us great strategies to continue to work on with our puppy. Overall the training benefited us, helped us become better pet owners and paved the way for our puppy to be trained. Thank you so much Jonathan! read more

I highly recommend Jonathan. He offers individual personalized dog training in your home, around your schedule. He helped us with our 3 year old rescue dog that was becoming increasingly aggressive with people & kids, especially in our home. Our first session was incredible. After spending time watching how we interact with our dog and how our dog moves around our home, he was able to pinpoint what steps we needed to take to bring more discipline & order into our dog's life. Jonathan gave us a detailed plan verbally and in writing, which included training drills to run with our dog and a mapped out plan for what to do when we have visitors. As a bonus, Jonathan also greatly helped us with walking both of our dogs, offering equipment and walking tips that have seen a MASSIVE improvement in the quality of our walks. We have had such striking improvements in just 4 sessions and we discovered our dog loves the training, making it all the better. His clear communication and ability to bridge the gap between us and our dogs has resulted in a huge improvement in the quality of life for both us and our dogs. Moana would give Jonathan and Vivian 10 stars if she could! She first met Jonathan for training lessons after she was adopted from the Pinole shelter in April. At the time, she was a skittish and undisciplined 6-year-old husky/lab mix who had lived in at least two different households before the shelter. On the day that she came home, she jumped out of the car and ran away into a parking lot on San Pablo Ave while I was attempting to put her in the car. (Freedom!) Three adults had to wrestle her back in the car, manage her at bathtime, and hold her down to apply Frontline to her. Less than a week later, she pulled my dad to the ground in a frenzy that involved killing a skunk. She took the six-week package and spent Saturday afternoons in the spring learning the basics like how to sit and stay-- something her previous owners hadn't bothered to teach her. (Yours truly taught her not to jump on people and furniture) She is also better on the leash now. Doesn't pull as much anymore, unless she sees a cat or squirrel. As the months have gone by, she has calmed down and is much better behaved now. When she hears me say, "Hey!" in a certain tone of voice, she knows to stop doing whatever it is that she's doing. Come vacation season, aka summer, this lucky gal got to go to the resort at Jonathan's house a whopping three times! She just came back a week ago from the last trip, and she gets so excited when she realizes where she is going. She gets plenty of attention, walks, and even mini obedience lessons while she is there and **she always returns better behaved because of that.** I don't think she misses me when she's there. Moana loves it here and would be disappointed to know that there aren't any more getaways planned for a while. read more

We had a few moments where our 1 year old dog Scotty would randomly show aggression towards people and dogs. I called Jonathan a little frantically for help and he came to our house the next day for a consultation visit with us and Scotty. Jonathan reassured us after that visit that Scotty was still a very trainable dog. We then start a series of 5 training sessions which were beyond helpful! We worked on spot training, crate training, muzzle training (for the vets office), leash training and basic commands. We are relieved to not have to worry any more and that's thanks to Jonathan! Scotty took quickly to Jonathan which made training fun and enjoyable. We highly recommend giving Jonathan a call and working with pack leader dog training! read more

We reached out to Jonathan based on positive Yelp reviews and we are so glad we did! We adopted our staffy/putbull mix, Ember, 1.5 years ago and although we had worked with a trainer over Zoom, we felt it was time to get some at-home training. The issues we wanted to work on with Jonathan included Ember's leash reactivity and fence fighting with neighbor dogs, high prey drive (always chasing squirrels on walks and in the yard), and over-excitement with guests (barking, jumping, not leaving guests alone even after being at our house for hours). In the initial evaluation Jonathan understood our issues, observed Ember in our yard and on a walk, and made helpful suggestions. He switched us to a prong collar (instead of the gentle leader we had been using) and taught us how to be more in control on walks. Our walks with Ember began to improve immediately based on his instructions. We ended up doing 6 sessions with Jonathan. We started by focusing on recall, the "place" command, and leash walking, all using the clicker. By marking commands with the clicker we noticed improvements in Ember's behavior, including turning to us for a treat when fixated on a squirrel or dog. During the third session we decided to switch to e-collar training with Jonathan. He helped us understand the e-collar as a communication tool with our dog, not punishment. He gave us specific homework to work on each week (1. Place 2. Recall 3. Leash walking (Heel) 4. Non-verbal recall) and we found his program to be very helpful. Our work has already started to pay off and we are much more able to contain Ember's excitement with guests. Last night we hosted a dinner and Ember sat in place on her bed for most of the meal (something she previously would have never done). We have a lot more practice to do but we feel Jonathan equipped us with the tools we need to confidently train Ember and eventually use the e-collar less. We highly recommend Jonathan as a trainer. He is punctual, communicative, encouraging, and direct. He gave us the confidence and tools to be even better dog parents. read more

I had a great first consultation w Jonathan. I paid him for the initial consultation. He mentioned he would follow up with me the following week via email and send me the curriculum for what the sessions will look like because I was interested to move forward with the sessions. I then waited and waited. I waited some more, but never heard from him, so I sent a follow up email and still never heard back. I then sent a second follow email sharing that I was no longer interested but had wondered if there was a reason why he never followed up as promised. Maybe my dog is too old? Maybe my email went to his spam? Maybe something happened to him? He was very professional and knowledgeable during the consult, but maybe expect no communication afterwards if he changes his mind or is too busy. read more

Jonathan is amazing! I can't say enough great things about him. My parents have an 11 month old french bulldog Luna who goes everywhere with them. She has the basic commands down but her being a friendly puppy, every dog she came across she wanted to charge at, not out of aggressiveness but only because she wanted to play. Knowing not all dogs know that she is friendly, we needed help to stop that behavior especially taking her in public places. They also needed advice on how to stop her from charging at people walking by with dogs in front of their house while she sits outside in front with them. Again, only because she wants to play. Jonathan was recommended to us, so we hired him to help us with training to stop the charging behavior. That was the best thing we did. He first started with an evaluation meeting at the house, then followed by 3 sessions. One session at the house to help us with the front house charging. After an hour of training and helping us with the right training tools, Luna has definitely showed major improvements. She can sit and watch people and kids walk by with no problem. When people with their dogs walk by we just have to be aware and remind her and guide her. She is definitely progressing. The next two session were in a public setting of our choice. 3 session's may not sound like a lot but in just those 3 sessions, the difference in Luna's behavior in public when noticing a dog or any other distraction was a whole 360 change. It literally amazed my parents and I. After each session we would get in the car and couldn't stop talking about how great Luna did due to what Jonathan taught us. His knowledge of the dog's personality, their different head and body movements and what they mean is mind blowing. In just those few sessions and all the tools Jonathan gave us to work with, Luna has made huge strides. Every time we take her out/they take her out, you can see she continues to progress. Jonathan is very professional and provides great communication. With my parents being older, they loved how he was very clear and took the time to explain everything and the reasons why he would do something. During our session we loved how he never made you feel rushed and literally guided us walking side by side talking us through each step as we were training Luna. When people ask about Luna's update on her training and how she's doing I rave about Jonathan. If you are looking for training for your dog, he is definitely the person. Luna loved him right away! read more

I scheduled an evaluation for a complicated two-dog household situation and couldn't speak more highly of Jonathan or Pack Leader Dog training. He was very responsive to emails/texts, was easy to schedule, was VERY punctual and the evaluation itself was VERY helpful. While we're not likely to hire individual training sessions (we'll need to re-home one of the dogs, unfortunately), we would ABSOLUTELY work with Jonathan for any training needs going forward. Personally, his straightforward approach to dog training was refreshing. He was frank (blunt, even, but in a very good way) about the challenges and expectations that go into multi-dog households and gave some practical tips to get started even without committing to longer-term training. The summary and pricing was fair and competitive with posted rates of local dog trainers. Again, was very happy with Pack Leader and would put them at the top of my list for future dog-training needs. read more

This review is on behalf of my sister who went through Pack Leader's 5-week training program for our chihuahua & pitbull mix, Paxun: My dog is a pandemic puppy which originally WFH put me in a great position to train him during his prime developmental stage. With the transition back to in-person responsibilities, consistency with training was lessened and behavioral issues started to develop. Our major concern was Pax's reactivity to other dogs when we were in public. He'd lunge, get tunnel vision and bark, pull on the leash (basically taking me for a walk), and overall didn't know how to act. I became desperate for help considering that he was transitioning into a young adult and thought I sabotaged nurturing a well behaved dog. I was wrong. Since the initial 1-hr assessment with Jonathan, my family and I learned that we were the main ones that needed to be trained and I had to be a solid presence of leadership in my dog's life. Week by week, we worked on basic obedience and being intentional with our training outside of the sessions, with Jonathan's guidance. Throughout it all, Jonathan has been such a meaningful trainer that cares about the growth of both pet and parent! He's very thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable. We appreciate the major behavior changes we've already seen in our dog since starting this program and will continue to instill these positive qualities in our pup! Even after this program, I have the assurance that the connection of my dog to Jonathan won't be disposed of as he will remain to be apart of our support system, in times of need. read more

Jonathan has been supporting our family with our shy-timid and slightly reactive dog. He has provided me with great behavioral training. Well, I've held out as long as I could. But I guess now the "secret" should be out. Jonathan and his lovely wife Vivian are simply AWESOME. That's right. AWESOME. We have left our somewhat challenging rescue lovey with them twice now, and couldn't be happier with the care they provided. They follow your instructions, give medications if needed, walk and play with your mutt, and post super sweet pics on Insta, so you can check in on your babies (A lovely touch). I felt our girl was safe and very well cared for, and will not trust her with anyone else in the future, if I can help it. Also..Vivian painted a portrait of our girl, and wrote the sweetest note about her. (Another lovely personal touch) Bottom line: I was extremely nervous about leaving her, and they put me at ease by being kind, professional, and extremely competent. Jonathan was recommended to me via a coworker after I was left wanting more from the puppy classes and other dog trainers that just didn't have the approach I was looking for. I started working with Jonathan when my cavapoo puppy was about 12 weeks old - she wasn't potty trained, didn't know any basic obedience, and we just had a lack of communication between us. With Jonathan's help, I now have one of the best behaved puppies - according to everyone who meets her :) Her basic obedience - including recall, sit, stay, and place - have come so far in only five sessions. Most importantly, Jonathan gave me the skills to really bond and communicate with my dog. My relationship with my puppy has totally changed since he came into the picture. Jonathan also has a really calm energy and my puppy absolutely loved him! Outside of being a dog whisperer, Jonathan is great at communicating and is always punctual for our training sessions. My girlfriend and I sought training for our newly adopted 1 year pit/lab mix and Jonathan stood out because he was so genuine and very informative when we first spoke to him on the phone. Fast forward 2 months later, we have a completely new dog whose obedience has been sharpened ( sit, stay, come, leave it, place), walks are FUN now (no pulling), and we're currently working on e-collar training for more advanced obedience training. We've had over 8 sessions with Jonathan and he is seriously someone you always want to have in your back pocket. Jonathan brings experience, theory, and practical lessons to each session and is always listening with open ears. We have 1 more session with Jonathan and would hire him back in a heart beat. We are so happy we found Johnathon!! After my boyfriend and I unexpectedly re-homed Archie, a 1.5 year old golden retriever with zero previous training. He went from being "meddlesome" as his previous owners described him (jumping on us/strangers, nipping our butts, pulling on the leash, running away from us any chance he got and making us chase him, hating his crate) to a fun, well behaved, happy dog who really loves to please and just needed structure and direction! We told Johnathon, that as outdoor enthusiasts, our goal was to have Archie hike, run, and ski with us off leash in the backcountry one day realizing we were far from that goal and were not sure where to start. Johnathon definitely needed to train us on how to establish boundaries and respect with Archie first, then week after week with Johnathon's instruction and a lot of repetition, he continued to improved! We eventually decided to get him ecollar fitted as well to be sure he would be safe in the backcountry, and by the end of our 7th session with Johnathon, we were taking Archie out on long hike and runs in the woods completely off leash. We chose Johnathon because of his specific structured background in dog training, and it definitely was the right choice for us!! On top of him being knowledgeable - he is always on time, prepared, organized, and has great recommendations for useful items (ie dog bed that Archie loves, leashes, ect)! We look forward to many fun years with Archie and cannot thank Johnathon enough!!!! read more

Jonathan literally saved our dogs life and saved us from having to put our dog down. Jonathan taught us how to handle and train our Belgian Malinois because we did not know how to handle her and she was becoming very aggressive with our older German shepherd. Admittedly we gave our previous dogs very little training, just the basics so when this Malinois landed in our lives at 4 months we had no idea what we were in for. Things were fine with the Malinois at first she was getting along with our other dog and then all of a sudden she became very aggressive with our German shepherd and would get physically aggressive with him. It got so bad that they couldn't be in the same room together. We were at our wits end when we contacted Jonathan and he came and talked to us and did the evaluation and we signed up for an 8 week training program. During those 8 weeks he really trained us on the fundamentals of dog training and how to be better dog owners. Jonathan is punctual, patient and professional. We are in a much better place now thanks to Jonathan. We chose to continue onto the e-collar courses in addition to the 8 week training program, which was a game changer. We appreciated Jonathan's candor and feedback throughout our time with him. Thanks to Pack Leader Dog Training our house is well-managed and full of happy pups! read more

Jonathan impressed me from the get-go with his thorough and comprehensive intake. His training is not "one size fits all". He really wants to know your dog and what you want to focus on. The training starts from wherever you and your dog are now and progresses steadily toward your goals. It's a huge bonus to do the work in your home, where you spend most of the time with your dog. As your dog progresses you can easily take the same lessons out to the back yard or the dog park, where there is much more distraction. We learned so much from working with him that we have been able to do more training in the same vein on our own. We really enjoyed working with Jonathan and Vivian (and our dog loves them, too). Just had my first consultation with Jonathan and it was so informative and helpful. Jonathan listened to our needs and was very understanding about our expectations of the training. He gave realistic views about what the training will look like and to work with our hectic schedules for the best outcome for a happy pooch. It is true, the human which would be me, requires more training than my baby who is the goodest handsomest boy. I found him after looking for trainers on Google and read reviews about him and other trainers. I also go off the vibes I get from my puppy about the trainer and my own and had a great first impression that we are in good hands. Looking forward to learning from him. read more

Prior to going out of town, I reached out to Jonathan and Vivian and asked if they had space for my 3 dogs. Surprisingly they had enough room to take my pack. Prior to dropping the dogs off we spoke about the boarding experience, where they would be kept, and went over all of the paperwork and vaccination requirements. I loved the fact that everything was included with their boarding package, including 1-mile walks twice per day, playtime, and the boarding itself. The concept of boarding differs from one facility to the next and my preference was for an all-inclusive experience. They are professional and made sure my pack was well-cared for during my travels. I appreciated the updates they sent and being able to follow them on Instagram to check out photos of the dogs enjoying their time there. I cannot imagine ever boarding them with anyone else again! read more

I contacted Jonathan to help with training our newly adopted Akita Mix. While we were still going back and forth to scheduling a time; I ended up needing to go out of town for a few days. And Jonathan gladly took him in like he was his own (It's hard finding someone willing to take a large dog and even harder because he's an Akita!) He was mindful of the things we wanted for our dog and he helped us jump start on a training on things that we haven't gotten to. We've just begun our training sessions and I look forward to watching it progress. read more

In the past we boarded Abby in a traditional kennel at a veterinarian's office where she was confined to a crate, and at most, got one walk a day. When we would pick her up, she would be highly stressed, would bolt for the door, and would not be herself for a few days. We boarded Abby with Jonathan and Vivian for 5 days, and for once, we did not worry about how she would be cared for. In addition to getting walked three times a day, she had opportunity to get out of her crate and be in a home environment. She ate normally which was a relief because she didn't eat well at the kennel. To top things off, she was not stressed when we picked her up and she was actually more well behaved than when we dropped her off! Jonathan and Vivian taught us that dogs get their cues from us and that we need to lead Abby toward the behavior we want. We will definitely go to Pack Leader Dog Training for our future boarding needs and for training when we decide to add a new dog to our family! read more

I highly recommend Johnathan Wong as a dog trainer or dog whisperer as I like to call him. We brought our Pitsky (Pitbull Husky mix) to him in December fresh off of a very traumatizing experience with a board training program. We were told that our dog would never perform to our wishes and that our dog was very dangerous. So naturally we were skeptical when trying to select a new trainer. We did the in home sessions and from the very first consultation we were extremely happy with our decision. Jon was very caring with our dog Bandit he explained his process extremely well and gained the trust of both us and bandit immediately. Bandit was very happy on her training days and even sometimes wanted to train even more after John left. Jon taught not only bandit how to be a better dog but also taught us how to be better owners. The hardest part was potty training and Jon gave us great steps to build towards making bandit understand where to go and where not to go. I type this now with a fully potty trained dog who's just a little over a year old. If we had gone to Jon initially we would have been so much further along but he covers so much ground in his sessions. We are forever thankful to Jon and his dog training abilities would highly recommend to every one. read more

My puppy Kuma participated in beginner obedience training classes with Pack Leader Dog Training. Kuma has learned and grown so much thanks to Jonathan and his guidance! I loved how each class was tailored to Kuma's specific needs and that I would receive feedback on my training skills. Jonathan is professional, insightful, and collaborative.
