Specialties
For over 20 years, A Better Dog Trainer has offered in-home, comprehensive and personalized dog and puppy training programs that go far beyond “treat-training” programs. Our approach is rooted in relationship-based obedience training- the kind of obedience training that helps your dog learn the commands, understand leadership, follow rules, control impulses and become a respectful, loving, well-balanced member of your family.
We also excel at solving, and preventing, problematic behaviors like aggression, excessive barking, biting and mouthing, potty training, separation anxiety, jumping and more.
We also offer specialized programs for rescue dogs who have been through traumatic experiences. Our program will show you how to provide compassionate care and training, safety and security in all facets of their lives so they can live their best life with you.
We proudly serve all San Francisco Bay Area counties, including San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Solano, Napa, and Sonoma.
