Visiting Plano for a work meeting and my brother picked me up from the airport to take me to my hotel. Had just enough time to grab a quick bite. When in Texas...tacos! Mannys is a nice upscale restaurant with scratch made dishes. We got the tacos De La something and they were fantastic!!! They came with this Smokey bean soup like side that went well with the tacos. I was impressed. Tacos are not just tacos in Texas!

Delicious food in a spacious dining room & good service. I thought the quesabirria texture was pretty unique, very soft and almost puréed, but I enjoyed it a lot

Elotes for starters were great! date had shrimp fajita and he loved it. I had chicken enchiladas and it was ok. The pineapple margarita swirl was bomb though. Must get it with chamoy. Service was great! FYI you can make reservation on Open table!

I was taken here by a good friend for a birthday lunch. FOOD: I had a mango watermelon soft serve margarita to start. It is outstanding and has plenty of alcohol in it. My main entrée were the shrimp tacos. They were also very good. I like that they do not give you a ton of chips because to me that really dampen your main entrée. I deducted one star because the fried dessert tasted like it was fried in old oil. ATMOSPHERE: the place is beautiful and airy and open. It is good to have a business lunch, take a date or even have a celebration. SERVICE: our waitress was Stephenie. She was one of the best servers I've ever had. She introduced herself immediately and was very attentive the entire time without hovering. She gets five stars alone.! TIP: I would recommend sharing one soft serve margarita. Expensive but well worth it.

Went on a Saturday night, and the vibes were great! The atmosphere was really nice, and our server was fantastic, super attentive and friendly throughout the night. They also bring out complimentary chips and salsa, which is always a nice touch! Overall, a great experience and definitely a nice spot to check out on a Saturday night.

I really enjoyed this place! Very elevated vibe but still reasonably priced. I got the chimichanga. It was huge and I had enough for leftovers the next day. The chips and salsa were also very good! Everything came out very quickly and our server was very attentive. Very cute area would def come back

My friends and I have been wanting to try the soft serve margaritas because why not. We ended up at Manny's for lunch. Nice establishment, nice location. The SS margaritas met our expectations. Definitely give those a try. We sat out on the patio so since the weather was decent. The margaritas were melting pretty quickly though. It wasn't very crowded, but our server was not on point. I'll just leave that there. The food was just okay. I believe my friends felt the same way. I had the lunch beef fajitas. I would definitely go again and try something different, however.

A story popped up in my news feed as I was scrolling regarding Mannys new concept. More Mex Less Tex. 20 years ago, Mannys established itself as a go to Tex Mex restaurant. I guess they are branching out to follow a trend of more interior Mexican and Latin American. The restaurant itself is attractive, spacious, comfortable and well designed. Located in a multi use complex amoung the State Farm buildings off Renner rd and Central expressway, you wouldn't know it was here, unless you knew. Hence, the advertising worked as the place was busy to have opened days ago. Our waitress was obviously inexperienced but, pleasant and got the job done. The seating was comfortable with views of the restaurant broken up strategically by the designers. Nice. The menu is extensive and to my surprise had quite a bit of Tex Mex. More interior Mexican and Latin American was covered in areas like chef specials. I was keeping my consumption down or probably would have opted for the short rib. It was served one table over and looked promising. I had the mole chicken enchiladas with rice and black beans. The mole was smokier and a little darker than others around town but good. My dinning partner had Redfish tacos on corn tortillas which were also very good. Overall nothing really great or wrong with Mannys Mexican Kitchen. However,it seems to have joined the club occupied by Mi Cocina and Glorias which aren't my fave style of food. My standard is just down the street at Popasitos. Finally we agreed that while good,we probably wouldn't rush back to Mannys Mexican Kitchen. You decide for yourself when you..... Go! Good Luck Manny

Soft serve Margs

The margs were good. Although you have to hmmm sip/spoon the drink fast because it drips and melts fast. 16.50 is steep also. Queso terrible, quac was good I heard. chicken fajitas were not sizzling and my flatuas were disgusting. Sorry Mannys. I love the restaurant that was there before Mannys came in. Bring it back!

Mixed fajitas chicken and steak.

I have been here twice. Originally, I was going to give this place 3 stars, but my second visit is what dropped it to 1. The service was fine. Our server was nice. The food is okay, but it's not worth the price. The same goes for the drinks. Everything is overpriced and overhyped. They do give you free chips and salsa. On my first visit, I had the chicken flautas. They were okay. Just regular flautas, nothing exciting. They weren't bland, so that's a plus. They came with black beans and green rice. My wife had the mixed fajitas with steak and chicken. Same story. They were average. Not bad, but not great. They came with refried beans, Spanish rice, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and cheese on the side. I also had a mixed drink that cost more than it should have. It wasn't very memorable. It was okay, just expensive. The second visit is why this place gets 1 star. We ordered food online while we were at the watch party for the Mexico game. The estimated pickup time was 20 minutes, which I thought was reasonable. When I arrived, the manager kept telling me the food was almost ready. After stringing me along for about an hour, they finally told me they couldn't find my order. They canceled the order and refunded my money. I won't be coming back.

New addition to cityline I definitely like the food better than the last Mexican restaurant that was there but definitely average Mexican. I work at Cityline so a co worker and myself went for lunch. They have an extensive lunch menu for $14 bucks and that's what we ordered from I had the Birria taco lunch plate Serving size is very small but perfect for me: All items were just ok. Nothing bad to say but the customer service and ambience is 5 stars for sure Free chips and 2 types of salsas I would go back to try the regular menu which is ALSO extensive with tons of choices

Absolutely delightful. A burst of watermelon goodness at the first sip. The service was fantastic.

Ribeye fajitas

The food was great, and there was plenty of space to sit inside and outside whenever we walked in on a Wednesday. They were kind about letting us sample various soft serve flavors!

The bar is lit in a way that makes you want to stay and chat. The only thing lovelier than the bartenders (that have been the same for years) was the loveliest companion that accompanied me most recently, and held such a wonderful conversation. There is a lot to the atmosphere here, both inside and outside, with the inside feeling like an intimate event, and the patio being a party starter. They often have live acoustic music outside, but it isn't brash or overwhelming. Usually one person and a guitar with a small amp. Nothing crazy. I haven't had pizza in one million years, but if I were going to break the streak it would be here. It's got a real artisan feel and taste that can't be beat. If you dine in, I recall they had the bread strips they bring out - GREAT stuff. If you aren't sure what to get, go for that Texas Mule. Tito's...Ginger Beer... need I say more? If you live here and haven't been here - you are missing out. If you are passing through, stop in. It's a "go-to" for me the two times I am in Plano each year. I might have to simply go visit again just for the experience and company.

The several times that I have been there or just to the Cinema portion, the Glass Half Full Taproom has been pretty slow. Like not even Half Full kind of busy... The service is usually pretty decent, but once again that has mainly been when they are not very busy. They usually don't have many people on staff so if they do get busy, it is going to affect you speed of your service. That can sometimes be detrimental if you are grabbing a beer before catching a movie. Selection is not an issue here. They have 32 beers on tap here, so your biggest issue if you are like me, is just making a decision. My typical go-to; Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde. Ambiance-wise it is a beer room. There is usually kind of a low key vibe to the place. It's a mellow place to grab a mellow brew!

When I shared Fusion Vibes with the girls they were all for it! We met the owner, Will as soon as we arrived. What a top notch host! He asked someone from the restaurant to bring us menus and take our order when we were ready. Someone from the bar also took our drink order. We loved this place! There's a live DJ playing Afrobeats all night. We were dancing in our chairs the whole time. There was also an option to smoke hookah. We ordered jerk wings and the suya wings. Our friend ordered the okra seafood soup. We really enjoyed our food. Especially the meat pies! We ate like royalty while enjoying our cocktails and music the whole time.
