I highly recommend M&J Cleaning!…read more I initially choose M&J Cleaning because of their responsiveness and competitive pricing despite not having many reviews on Yelp (my trusted source). All in all, M&J did not disappoint for the rug and floor cleaning. The owner (Michael) was very responsive, communicated effectively, and worked efficiently with care. Trying to find a rug and floor cleaning can consume time but don't look any further. You will not be disappointed.

I confirmed an appointment with Anthony for a tile and grout cleaning estimate - the appointment…read morewas set for a little more than two weeks later. During the past year I've dealt with more than 20 small business service providers as we remodeled our house - without exception they called or texted a reconfirmation a day or two before the appointed time, so I expected this company to do the same. When I didn't hear from them, I sent a reminder to them on the day before the scheduled estimate. No response. You guessed it - I waited for several hours on the day of the appointment and they completely blew me off - no communication of any kind. Contrast that with the response I got from one of their competitors who (unbeknownst to me) had gone out of business 6 months before my inquiry. They took the time to write me a nice note explaining that they had to leave the business for health reasons and referred me to one of their trusted colleagues. I've owned two small businesses myself, so I know that things come up, but I would never ever dream of treating any customer like I was treated by A1 Carpet and Tile Cleaning. No matter what comes up, it only takes 20 seconds to send a text or email saying that you can't make the appointment. It's just common decency and courtesy. THERE ARE LOTS OF EXCELLENT COMPANIES IN FLORIDA THAT PROVIDE TILE AND CLEANING SERVICES - DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

Fast forward to Monday and I get a rescheduling message for the the following day (which I was okay with). The day of service the owner was very nice and friendly, however, after the service I noticed a layer of pet hair still on the carpet. When inquiring about the service I let him know there were pets and even paid for an extra service to get out pet odor. I reached out to him about this and got ghosted about the matter. The cleaning of the rug itself is okay, he spent more time setting up the equipment than actually cleaning the rug. Overall I don't think it's worth the money.

He was on time and completed the cleaning as scheduled. We had some very old stains that remained after the cleaning, but overall we were pretty happy. I have…read morebeen browsing around for a while now trying to find someone to clean my carpets that was affordable, reliable and available when I was able to be home. I wondered, should I call a large corporation? Browse through the Clipper magazine to find one of those 'price may vary' coupons? I decided to turn to Yelp instead. I requested a quote through Yelp and the owner, Yaniv, messaged me back nearly instantly with pricing and even offered to honor a Groupon for $39 that I had found for two rooms and a hallway. I was able to schedule an appointment without having to call (this is huge for me when it comes to convenience!). My technician, Danny, was fantastic!! Huge kudos to him for everything he did. He called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He explained everything to me and told me about the different offerings that they had but did not push to up sell me (this is also super important when I choose a company). He cleaned my upstairs bedrooms and hallway quickly but efficiently. I have had a large carpet stain in my hallway since I moved into my home 6 years ago and it tracks into my spare bedroom. No idea what the heck it was but I never expected it to be taken care of with a lower level of cleaning. Danny got that stain almost completely out and I am extremely impressed with the result!! My carpet looks better than it ever has!! This was the best interaction that I have had with a business in a long time. No pressure, no altered pricing and an honest team of hard working people who deserve your business. I will definitely be using In and Out Steamers again for my carpet cleaning. They also do tile & grout, mattress cleaning, upholstery, air ducts, etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent cleaning job at a fair price. Oh, and don't just go through Groupon...it costs the company money to process these. Just go through the business. They will give you a great deal!

He acted like the entire job was an inconvenience to him. He also stated that his machine would dirty the stairs if we did not elect to pay the extra money to get the stairs cleaned. It's ridiculous that he was going to dirty the stairs and not leave them in the same condition that he encountered. I ended up having to lay down my own moving blankets on the stairs to protect them from him getting them dirty with his equipment. Had I known the type of customer service this business provides I would've taken my money elsewhere. Lesson learned.
