The price kept changing and after arguing back and forth with the owner I decided to accept my loss . They charged me more and then tried to give back half. They also left their supply packaging in the house, disconnected the water hose and didn't reconnect after they left. They did not inform that they would charge a 3% credit card fee and had it listed as a sales tax on invoice . The work was average nothing wowed me. Would not recommend or give second chance Update: had heard a loud bang during their work, but was told to leave the room due to slippery floors... turned out they broke a piece of art and placed it back on shelf without admitting it! Do not use this company.

Update: I spoke too soon. The carpet has dried and has big splotches of dirt that weren't there before! I am just sick about it, it looks ruined in several rooms. They said they would come tomorrow and fix. I hope they are able to get the carpet just back to where it was before they did this. I will up date on how it goes. Update: They came out and rinsed it right away. I think all looks good. Will give update again when it is dry tomorrow. I was impressed with they way they handled this. Update: They came out right away and rinsed the carpets. But since that has dried, the next day, unfortunately there are still big spots that were not there before they came out the first time. I hope to hear from them soon and see what we can do. Final update: They came out 3 times to make it right! It isn't perfect but much, much better. I really appreciate how they handled this, another company might have acted differently. We got it down to four bad places and they worked very hard to get them clean, used fans to dry as quickly as possible. I'm satisfied that all was done to make this right. Carpet looks pretty good. Whatever the reason thee spots happened, they certainly did everything they could to get it clean. Thanks, Terry and Frank.

I confirmed an appointment with Anthony for a tile and grout cleaning estimate - the appointment…read morewas set for a little more than two weeks later. During the past year I've dealt with more than 20 small business service providers as we remodeled our house - without exception they called or texted a reconfirmation a day or two before the appointed time, so I expected this company to do the same. When I didn't hear from them, I sent a reminder to them on the day before the scheduled estimate. No response. You guessed it - I waited for several hours on the day of the appointment and they completely blew me off - no communication of any kind. Contrast that with the response I got from one of their competitors who (unbeknownst to me) had gone out of business 6 months before my inquiry. They took the time to write me a nice note explaining that they had to leave the business for health reasons and referred me to one of their trusted colleagues. I've owned two small businesses myself, so I know that things come up, but I would never ever dream of treating any customer like I was treated by A1 Carpet and Tile Cleaning. No matter what comes up, it only takes 20 seconds to send a text or email saying that you can't make the appointment. It's just common decency and courtesy.
