I had an absolutely outstanding experience with In and Out Steamers from start to finish! I have been browsing around for a while now trying to find someone to clean my carpets that was affordable, reliable and available when I was able to be home. I wondered, should I call a large corporation? Browse through the Clipper magazine to find one of those 'price may vary' coupons? I decided to turn to Yelp instead. I requested a quote through Yelp and the owner, Yaniv, messaged me back nearly instantly with pricing and even offered to honor a Groupon for $39 that I had found for two rooms and a hallway. I was able to schedule an appointment without having to call (this is huge for me when it comes to convenience!). My technician, Danny, was fantastic!! Huge kudos to him for everything he did. He called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He explained everything to me and told me about the different offerings that they had but did not push to up sell me (this is also super important when I choose a company). He cleaned my upstairs bedrooms and hallway quickly but efficiently. I have had a large carpet stain in my hallway since I moved into my home 6 years ago and it tracks into my spare bedroom. No idea what the heck it was but I never expected it to be taken care of with a lower level of cleaning. Danny got that stain almost completely out and I am extremely impressed with the result!! My carpet looks better than it ever has!! This was the best interaction that I have had with a business in a long time. No pressure, no altered pricing and an honest team of hard working people who deserve your business. I will definitely be using In and Out Steamers again for my carpet cleaning. They also do tile & grout, mattress cleaning, upholstery, air ducts, etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent cleaning job at a fair price. I would absolutely NOT recommend. We hired them to do our move out cleaning. The technician was extremely rude and not helpful. Very unprofessional. He acted like the entire job was an inconvenience to him. He also stated that his machine would dirty the stairs if we did not elect to pay the extra money to get the stairs cleaned. It's ridiculous that he was going to dirty the stairs and not leave them in the same condition that he encountered. I ended up having to lay down my own moving blankets on the stairs to protect them from him getting them dirty with his equipment. Had I known the type of customer service this business provides I would've taken my money elsewhere. Lesson learned. read more

Beware of Scam. The good ratings on here are only because they offer 20% off of your next service if you leave a good review. I made an appointment to have my carpets cleaned through a company called Green Carpet Cleaning US, so imagine my surprise when someone came to my door in a van that said 'In & Out Steamers'. When I made my appointment online, they were running a special for $89 for three rooms; I booked an appointment online and then made a phone call stating that I had a one bedroom apartment, so I only had two rooms that needed to be done, but there were no other buttons than that special. The person on the phone said that it would be less, around $60-$70. The technician that came was very nice, explained that my trouble spot needed additional shampooing, which would be $30 more. I said it was fine, but was disappointed that cleaning a spot from a spilled drink on an otherwise clean carpet wasn't included. When it was time to check out, my total was $119. I said that the price was not as advertised, and that with the additional $30, my bill should be $90-$100. He explained that he's an independent contractor and doesn't know anything about sale prices and to contact the Green Carpet Cleaning Company about it. I completely understood that it wasn't his fault, so I paid. Hours later, I discovered that I still had a large stain and that he didn't move my couch to clean the carpet. I had it flipped forward to show the majority of the stain I had, but he never moved it or flipped it to check underneath, and he told me to wait 4-6 hours before flipping the couch back to normal. I called Green Carpet Cleaning Company, they rudely told me to call In & Out Steamers. I called In & Out Steamers and the representative (who claimed to be the manager) was also condescendingly rude and said to call Green Carpet Cleaning Company because I was upset that the job wasn't done right on top of the service price not being as advertised. She offered a redo and I said that at this point, I just want my money back, and I don't want to deal with them anymore. She said the best she could offer was a redo tomorrow and that they don't do refunds. I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest that you should as well. read more

We bought a groupon to get our rugs cleaned in the house we just bought. There were no big stains or anything on them, they just weren't ours so we wanted to get them smelling fresh. Daniel did a great job. He arrived right on time and called a few minutes before like he said he would. He really knew what he was talking about when he was offering upgrades. He steered us in the right direction letting us know we didn't need a "deep clean" but had the option of the other two- steam & deodorize or shampoo. Since it was our first time, we decided to go with the steam & deodorize and just see what it did. If it was acceptable, we would stick with it but if not, next time we would go for the shampoo. That said, I wish it was more fragrant. The carpets look great but I guess I was assuming they would smell really clean and make the whole house smell fresh- hence "deodorize". Not the case. He was definitely in n out. It was quicker than I can vacuum the rooms! Overall, we are happy with the carpets, I guess next time we will spend the extra $ and go for the shampoo just to get it smelling great! read more

This is the worst customer service I have received in a very long time. I called to schedule an appointment and receive a quote. I spoke to a woman named Alexa and she told me that for grout cleaning it would be $137 for 550 squarefeet. I said great and made the appointment. Two men came to my apartment. They unloaded all of their supplies and asked me what I wanted to have done. I told them the grout cleaning. They said it would be $220. I was shocked because that is not what I agreed to over the phone. They kept pushing said the quote I received was for steaming only and it doesn't clean the grout. After going back and forth I agreed and stepped out on my balcony. One of the men started working while the other started asking me questions like how much my rent was, how much I made a year, how much my significant other made a year, etc. and it was extremely uncomfortable. Once the job was "finished" they started packing up and I looked around and noticed they had missed so many areas. I asked if they could touch up a few spots and they said they tried. So I said I wouldn't pay unless they tried one more time. The dirt easily came off right in front of my eyes so it was clearly the technician being lazy. I couldn't wait for them to leave because I needed to go to work. I signed, paid, and rushed out the door shortly after they left. When I got home that night after leaving my floors to dry for a good 8-10 hours I saw that the entire bottom of my couch was stained and ruined from the solution they used. I called the company today and explained what happened. Alexa was shocked and apologized. She told me she would give me a call back and I was hopeful that they would either refund me, give me the $83 difference form the misquote, or at least come and clean my couch that they ruined. She called me and said the only thing they were willing to do was a "re-do". That didn't make sense to me because I don't really need a re-do, I wanted a reimbursement so I could get my couch cleaned after they had stained it themselves. I kept asking why it wasn't possible for a reimbursement for at least a complimentary couch cleaning and she just kept saying "we just can't". I definitely lost my cool a little bit on the phone because I was in such disbelief of the terrible customer service. I don't recommend this company at all. Roy only ran over my carpet once. The cleaning solution seemed very diluted and I actually did not see him add anything to the water. The deodorizer barely had a smell. I think I paid for steam on my carpet. He was literally in and out (20 mins). His attitude also was not friendly. I noticed when he gave me my bill, it said to leave a positive review for his company and he will give 20% discount for next time. I have a feeling that's why so many have reviewed his company. Daniel arrived two hours late. Refused my offer for directions. Got lost and was very irritated when he arrived. He took my $40 Groupon, for three bedrooms. He cleaned them, in my opinion he didn't do a good job, and left it really wet. Then when Daniel was leaving my husband advised me we owed another $80! I was infuriated! I went to their website and it clearly stated "no bait and switch" and "always on time". I usually don't care but to make these claims and then do this is really unacceptable. I recently purchased a home and when we moved in one of the carpets had stains (thought they may have been pet stains, but there wasn't as odor). I wanted to start fresh and reached out for a steam clean of the carpet. Nick came out and was very knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. He kept me informed of unexpected delays due to traffic. After discussing my options for the stains we decided that a deep clean would be better than just a maintenance steam clean. It turned out the stains were pet urine. The deep clean wasn't enough and when I informed Nick a couple days later he returned and did all he could to remove the pet odor. He continued to follow up with me on the status of the carpet over the course of a few days. I highly recommend In and Out Steamers. Excellent job! Shortly after we moved into our new house we noticed a pet urine smell in the dining room that became increasingly worse each day. Ugh! After trying everything we could think of (oxyclean, vinegar solution, home carpet cleaner) we called In and Out. They came out the next afternoon, told us everything they were going to do, and like magic, the smell was gone. What a relief! We couldn't be happier to have a nice smelling house again. Refusing the "up charge" seems to be a mistake. As a result, the tech's attitude immediately change from friendly to an obvious attitude (level 7 maybe) as he speedily ran through (4) four bedrooms, a huge dining room and stairs in less than 15 mins. What was left were rugs that were not cleaned at all, but thoroughly soaked. Additionally, the water from the equipment remained in the foyer for an unavoidable fall, which DID happen. This visit was a waste of both our times, and left us with bad tastes in our mouths. We used our Rug doctor to finish cleaning and get up the excess water. We wish we had used it instead. In and Out Steamers came to clean our two bedrooms yesterday. Upon entering our home, they did the classic bait and switch. Cleaning they said did not include stain removal, that would be an extra $65 on top of the $99 quoted price. The guy was very unprofessional, he was clumsy, he spilt stain remover all over the hardwood floors. He stained the quilt in the bedroom with some sort of grease. In addition, he placed a pan on a wooden trunk which left a bleached mark. I had to clean up after the person. There was so much water all over the hardwood floors. He made a mess. He also kept walking over the wet carpet with his shoes. Unbelievable, he was totally incompetent. He didn't even know where to plug in the equipment. Ridiculous.
