Pizza is decent for their 2 slice special deal . Ordered the Chicken Parm dinner . Big disappointment. The key to a good parm is the sauce. The sauce tasted like tomato paste . Just tomato paste not worth the price . Best place for pizza in the area and the price point is amazing! My spouse and I came here on a whim as my pharmacy is in the plaza and we were not disappointed. Our server Jennifer was great and hasn't let us down any of our visits there! Their selections of wine are perfect for a nice evening out and pair perfect with their pasta. We opened the door and immediately greeted with a smile. Our server Beth was attentive, fast, and friendly. The portion sizes are huge! The prices are very good. My pregnant wife loved the pasta fagioli soup! The seafood combo pasta was fully loaded with fresh shell fish and huge, jumbo shrimps! My mother loved her chicken marsala pasta. We were surprised how BIG the fresh garlic rolls were! The toasted ravioli appetizer was also good. My mother also couldn't get over how fresh and crisp her side salad was, she said it tasted like they cut it to order. This place is okay for the price. We got a lot of food for what we paid. Our meal was fine...Nothing spectacular, but definitely plentiful. However, I would not come back here to dine-in until after the pandemic. Masks for employees seems to be a very loose policy. They did space out the tables a lot, and I smelled bleach when they were wiping them down. But I saw employees with masks around their chins, hanging off an ear, and under their noses, even when they were close to our table. It made it difficult to enjoy our meal. read more

Do not go here .. I haven't ordered food out in over a month and decided tonight was the night .. Trying to support our local small businesses..I walked in to pick up my pizza and noticed no one was wearing a mask .. I asked do you wear masks here and a guy from behind the counter said "we don't wear masks here we have the plexiglass up". Ok that's great to protect you from the customer but what about the food ? They weren't wearing gloves either .. Under normal conditions this would be acceptable but there is a pandemic out there that apparently these people don't care about ..There is to much competition out there to not care .. This is hands down the best New York style pizza in Tamarac. The dough is always fresh & thin, the sauce is not sweet, and the toppings are great quality. The staff is hospitable and attentive. My wife told me not to go based on last order, but it was late and I figured it would be a quick dinner. The meatball sub we had tonight was just awful. It did not even look like chop meat. It looked more like chicken chop meat. I picked up within 5 min of when I was told it would be ready. The bread was horribly soggy my wife could not even eat hers. We dined here this evening for the first time it was excellent!! First let me tell you when you walk into an Italian restaurant and it smells Italian you know it's going to be good! A family owned restaurant nestled in a little spot in Tamarac off of Nob Hill Rd. and McNab rd with casual dining at its best we ordered pizza and it was superb!! NY style pizza ! We also ordered linguine with White clam sauce and also linguine with red clam sauce both were excellent! Dinner was served with soup pasta fajoli or minestrone and a beautiful dinner salad the garlic rolls were by far the best around large fluffy crunchy with the perfect amount of garlic and yummy butter oil melted all over them . This was a great find and we look forward to going back to enjoy other things on the menu. Did I mention the waitress Amber she did everything to make our dining experience excellent and the owner Vinny came out and introduced himself (nice guy)checking to make sure everything was to our satisfaction! First and last time here. The eggplant parmesan was so soggy and there was barely any eggplant it was so thin. Their wings were crispy fried but inside was not cooked. They got 2 orders wrong and the icing on the cake was just horrible service. Table was never cleared. They brought food and didn't take any plates away, leaving no room for new food being brought. Okay, when it comes to this area of Tamarac I always begin with the very valid thought that's it's largely a desert out here when it comes to restaurant choices in the immediate area; even more so as concerns finer dining. Surprising given the population of the large Kings Point development alone. Yet, most times, finding a decent restaurant (with possibly the exception of Tamarac Thai & Sushi) means driving at least 15 minutes to another town nearby. So, whenever a new restaurant opens we keep our fingers crossed that maybe the desert has become a little less barren. Having now visited the new Mannino's we are optimistic, though we were torn between giving 3 or 4 stars. Hope springs eternal though. Upsides? It's local and right near the newly renovated Paradigm movie theater. The menu prices are reasonable. It's serving hearty Italian food. The menu has plenty of choices (unless you're an ardent vegetarian or vegan). Yes, the desert has become a bit less barren. Work on? Well, the dinner rolls are good sized and taste fresh. But, if you say you'd like them as garlic rolls it appears that means they simply sprinkle them with garlic salt. I suspect no one would complain if they added .25 to the meal and put chopped fresh garlic on them instead. Nice that the meals come with soup and salad. But, do we seriously need more iceberg lettuce and its zero nutritional value in our lives? Romaine is just so much better for us and it really doesn't drive the cost of a good meal up much. The clear broth chicken soup was real good, but do we need more pasta fagioli in our lives? Whatever happened to minestrone or a little more variety? Would be nice to have at least one Italian restaurant that broke the pasta fagioli bandwagon. For entrees my wife and I had veal parmigiana (me) and calamari marinara (her). She's not a big pasta fan so they offered mixed vegetables instead which was nice to see. The veal parm was as good as others have said on here. I really enjoyed it and the side of pasta was substantial and fine. My wife liked her calamari and there was a nice portion of it. But, as much as she and I love a good marinara sauce, the large amount that came with her dish overwhelmed the taste of the calamari and it was like she'd been served a bowl of soup marinara with calamari. Since the calamari seems capable of standing on its own, a bit less sauce (or simply putting some on the side to add if the patron wants more) would allow the dish to be enjoyed even more. Additionally, while she was happy that veggies were offered (and a decent amount too) as an alternative to pasta they did have a bit of an odd flavor that we couldn't pin down. We thought that maybe some roasted garlic was added but even that wasn't clear. Unfortunately, however they were prepared was a bit off-putting....simple grilled veggies would probably suffice. Finally, at least one other reviewer has mentioned (and evaluated very critically via Google) the waitress Sharon at Mannino's. She happened to be our waitress too and now we understand a bit better the other reviewer's points (although their harshness seems overkill). Upside? She's efficient; bringing each part of the meal out quickly and refilling glasses promptly without us having to bring their emptiness to her attention. We're sure she's a fine person too. That said, her demeanor left us feeling like we were being served by a former drill sergeant. Sort of like the acerbic Katz delicatessen waitresses of yesteryear. Yet, that was yesteryear and I doubt any restaurant is looking to dig that nuance up again. If it was us we'd find another role for her and not being out front with the patrons. Not looking to be harsh just speaking from the experience we just had and it hit both of us the first moment she came to the table to tell us what out beverage choices were. She walked away and my wife and I looked at each other a bit stunned. But, all in all we are happy to finally have another choice in the immediate area and are thrilled it is serving Italian food (and, based on the very positive reviews of its pizza we look forward to trying that in kind). Hopefully they'll take the above as simply some constructive criticism that might merit a change here or there as they move beyond opening week shakeouts. We look forward to returning. read more

Good Pizza, it's more of a New York style than something like Pizza Hut, so even though the franchise pizza places are good, this place will satisfy your craving for traditional New York style pizza for sure. They have some good combo meal deals, pasta tray deals and your 1 & 2 slice specials of course. I had the Antipasto with my pizza and it was good. Garlic Rolls? Definitely get them. They've been in Margate for years but we live out West where their new location recently opened and we ordered recently.....good as usual. read more

This was our first order from Manninos since we moved to Tamarac last month. We ordered through Doordash 2 entrees, shrimp scampi and seafood combo. Unfortunately, the shrimp scampi had so much lemon it was inedible. The seafood combo was fine but the scampi ruined the experience. read more
