The server was very kind and attentive. The Caesar salad was not good-tasted like I made it at home and used store bought Kraft Parmesan grated cheese. (Not shredded). The garlic rolls were overdone and not enough garlic. The chicken parm tasted decent but was too soft and didn't have that typical crunch of fried chicken. I asked for fettuccini Alfredo on the side and got spaghetti noodles with what tasted like store bought sauce. Overall, the food was not worth it and would not return. read more

Manninos sucks. Pizza was mediocre at best. Cheese was low quality, sauce was flavorless and dough tasted like cardboard. The garlic bread was just bready and barely tasted like garlic. The cannoli was falling apart and tasted ok. I saw the lady pull it out of a box. Looks and tastes like they don't make it there. Overall, just really disappointed. I had seen this restaurant every time we went to Char Hut and had forgotten about it until it popped up on Yelp. I liked what I saw and decided to get a try. It turned out to be a pretty good choice. We went for lunch and it wasn't busy. We started with an order of calamari. I was surprised at how good it was. The peices were nice sized, not overly breaded, they were very tender and tasty. Definitely a great start to lunch. Now for our lunches we all got something different. My wife had a couple of pizza slices. We already know slices are not quite as good as if you order an entire pie, but my wife said these were really good. My daughter went with an eggplant parmesan sub. She also said it was really good. Me, I had an individual Stromboli. It was definitely larger then I was expecting. Two people could of shared it. Stuffed with pepperoni, sausage, ham, peppers, and onions made it very enjoyable. Perfect, I thought. Walked in at approximately 11:10 am. Place was empty and no one at the counter to greet me. While waiting for someone to come up to the counter to greet me, a guy came up, grabbed a box and walked back to the back. Never looked up. A minute later, another guy walked up and poured water out into some sort of container, looked me in my face, did not greet me and walked to the back. I politely left. If I could give zero stars I would. Food came out burnt. Sent back. 2 minutes later, food came back - burnt again. Waitress told them to make a new plate. This time food looked terrible. Was charged for this dish. Took home and found that the food was not cooked all the way and ended up with food poisoning!!! DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!! Terrible food although service was good. I went to Mannino's in Tamarac the day they opened on Monday, 10/28. Had heard a lot of good things about Mannino's & the owner opening up here plus was impressed how quickly they got their website up & running. I simply had to try them and was not disappointed! The 12" veal parmigiana sub, what this Brooklyn boy calls a HERO, was excellent and very reasonably priced at $8.50. Liked their garlic parmigiana wings a lot too. I returned 4 days later and tried the meatball parmigiana hero. That was very good although I preferred the veal parm my first visit. Enjoyed talking to the management & employees about their new business & the industry in general. Plan to return to sample various entrees like their lasagna, veal parmigiana with pasta (hope they can do a meat sauce or garlic & oil substitution), & broiled fish with pasta dinners in the days & weeks ahead.
