Each time I have been the staff have been very friendly and kind. They answer all the questions I have about the process they will be doing on my teeth. The location is in a great spot and the building is very clean and kept proper. The only complaint I would have is that I had to sit for quite awhile in the waiting room before my apointment. Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. Anyway, I love the staff so much I kept them as my dentist even when I moved to Calgary. Twice a year I would make the trip for my cleanings. Sometimes I had to make trips for fillings etc. Dr Pavlenko introduced me to fillings without freezing. I was super scared but was more scared of the freezing as my 1st cavity was filled just before he took over and I was frozen for almost 24 hours. He promised me if it hurt he would stop and freeze me how ever the "pain" was less painful than the pain I felt from the freezing. I have had all my subsequent filings freezing free. If I procreate I can't wait to bring my spawn here after they get their 1st fang too.

This experience left me feeling disrespected and hurt. I believe everyone deserves equal and respectful treatment in a medical setting, regardless of their background. The fact that they couldn't provide me with a patient consent form to take my photo leads me to believe that their staff is not properly trained in patient information privacy. It's unfortunate as I loved this clinic but I don't want to go to a clinic that doesn't tell me exactly what personal information they keep and use and for what purposes. That is a total deal breaker.

After charging $130 for a diagnostic exam, the dentist completely ignored my immediate issue and tried to push a root canal and cleaning on a neighboring tooth. Despite telling them I couldn't afford massive upfront bills, they texted me an estimate of $1,789 for my next visit. Shockingly, this huge bill was only for the root canal and cleaning--the extraction for the actual abscessed tooth wasn't even included. I canceled immediately. I found another dentist who handled the diagnostic for $99 and extracted the tooth for $350. They also looked at the other tooth and confirmed it was only chipped and did not need a root canal. Save your money and shop around!

Dr Omar Nsair didnt even come look at my teeth at each scan... he is the one who determines where attachments will go. Now apparently I'm told I can no long get more refinements... I'm not done I still have teeth that are crooked and he just cuts me off and says no more scans.. wtf. Dealing with this through COVID sucksss because I cant go talk to him myself. They aren't allowed to tell you that they have better equipment than the other dentist next door or that they have the newest pain free technology. That's against Alberta Dental Association rules or something. I found that out when I visited Infinity. Instead of only having that archaic metal tooth scraper, they have ultrasonic and water ones that don't make me go crazy with the scrape scrape scrape sound. I thought "What the heck?! Why haven't I always had this?" Also every chair has flat screen tvs of their own! That's right, I'm reclined getting my teeth cleaned while watching the news. Booyah ! It might not matter to you, but anything to distract me from the teeth cleaning please. There isn't any extra charge, for these VIP services or the goody bag of travel sized toothpaste and toothbrush. It's included in every visit.
