I have not been to a dentist in a few years, my appointment was Great. At my last Dentist I had I received constant shaming from not attending on a regular bases the duration of my teeth cleaning and check up. Dr. Coffin was lovely acknowledging the effort in my personal dental hygiene. He offered step by step information through out the appointment to empower me, and my hygiene and dental care. My cleaning and checkup as very time efficient and pleasant, never feeling rushed. It was the best part of my day. read more

Lets just say this dental center is a BUSINESS. Right when you walk in you are confronted by 4 receptionists. FOUR!! Can you say billing!! Imagine the over head right there, and you will understand why they are so expensive. There are probably 15 chairs and they obviously need to do a huge volume of business just to make it all float. They are billing masters, and will wipe out your yearly insurance allowance in a couple of visits. I had a cleaning which was so inflated as to be laughable. Then a couple of extractions, one of which got infected and I was taken to the cleaners to get that substandard work fixed. Then on to what I was told were some "simple" cosmetic fillings that ended up being $800 when I wasn't even in the chair one hour. I left this place feeling completely ripped off and angry. I would not recommend this place unless your have 100% dental coverage and they will love you. They'll take your insurance company to the cleaners and you won't be any the wiser. Hopefully the quality of the work will be better then I experienced. read more

I've been going to Dr. Coffin for about a year, he's always extremely friendly and he, along with the hygienists and front desk team have always made me feel welcome and well taken care of. Their work, from checking in to appointments, to sitting in the chair, is painless. The entire team exhibits professionalism and a cheerful energy, which makes something as unenjoyable as going to the dentist, not so bad. I have and will continue to recommend 7th Street Dental to friends and family, it's also extremely convenient for those that live/work downtown and like easy booking and confirmation of appointments. I've never had to sit in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes and everything seems to be extremely efficient and well ran. read more

Dr. Wacker and Dr. Cotton are very kind and they do a great job. However, the professionalism of the office staff and Dr. Wacker's assistant are the reason for my low review. I came in for a broken molar, in which I needed a crown. I appreciated that the office got me in quickly to check the tooth and schedule for the crown. I am from out of country and have to self-submit my insurance claim, so I brought in the claim form for the office to fill out and have the doctor sign. I understand it is different from what they are use to, but I did not appreciate the comments about my my "difficult insurance company" by the office staff each consecutive visit. I came in and had my temp crown placed by Dr. Wacker. Dr Wacker is very good and very kind. His assistant is not as professional and gentle. She dropped the wand on me several times and splashed me with water, took 3-4 attempts to put on a rubber dam and blamed it on the shape of my tooth, and, while I was in the chair, spoke poorly of other employees and patients to a fellow co-worker. I was not impressed. A week later when I was brushing my teeth, the temp crown fell off. It was a week day that the office is normally open. My tooth was extremely sensitive, preventing me from eating or drinking anything. I called several times and left two voice messages. There was no answer, no return call, and no alternate emergency contact. There is no email on the website and the hours showed the office was to be open. I drove in to the office to find they were closed due to a parade that took place close to the office, with no previous notification to their patients they would be closed that day. ( Also, note that the office has a strict 48 hour cancellation policy for their patients to cancel.) I (thankfully) got in with another dentist the next morning to have my temp re-cemented back in. Upon going in the following week to have my permanent crown placed, I saw Dr. Cotton. Dr. Cotton was wonderful and so was his assistant. After the appointment was over, I waited to have the front desk fill out the insurance form for my insurance company. Due to other events we had going on, I did not go to submit the insurance information until the beginning of the following week. I then found that the ladies at the front desk decided to fill in my personal information, and other information on the form that had no regards to their office and filled it in wrong. They also filled out a portion to have the insurance payment remitted to their office- even though I had already paid the bill in full. When I called and explained this and explained the only sections I needed filled out were those that pertained to the visit as well as the doctors signature, I was met with argument about my personal information, sections to be filled out, and my husbands personal identification number. Not to mention, I did not receive the form back the same day, as I requested. Dealing with this office has been extremely frustrating. I will be switching to the dentist that re-cemented in my temp crown, as his office was nothing except professional without any comments about my insurance company, and his assistant was very kind and gentle. read more

Very disappointing. Dr. MacLean did a bridge (on 4 previously crowned teeth) and said it would last 5 years. Unfortunately, he drilled away so much of the actual original tooth that they can never be redone. I lost a tooth from a cleaning, by a very aggressive hygienist. The last visit with Dr. MacLean was to see if he could fix a tooth and to get a new tooth guard. The answer was no, to fixing the tooth. When i ask about the tooth guard, his assistant told me it was to expensive (even though i had benefits to cover the cost). read more
