Harbuksh (Dr. Sekhon), I thought I should write the truth about the shadiness of your clinic, and now I feel I need to address the lies in your post. There is no restraining order, nor has there ever been one. I had an appointment scheduled before my benefits expired, however it was changed 3 times during the period of a week - typically by a text the morning of. After being patient I finally had enough after it was cancelled yet again on the Saturday which was 2 days before my benefits were up. After receiving your text, I contacted your office and you refused to give me a reason for the cancelation and refused to speak with me. I then had to resort to coming to your office to see if I could speak with you and get a reasoning for the cancelation since it put me in a very tuff spot. Upon arriving your brother in law informed me that you weren't there, yet while leaving I seen you standing by your back exit with a police officer refusing to speak with me. So I don't know how or where you're getting this a restraining order from when I was scheduled to have an apt that you cancelled and then refused to speak with me a few hours later. I'm pretty sure it takes more than a couple hours to get a restraining order lol. Also I'm not sure why you are saying that I didn't attend a meeting you set up, since you didn't set up anything and in fact refused to speak with me at all even with an officer present. After that I haven't bothered coming or contacting your office, since I witnessed anything more unprofessional. I also tried to write a review about my experience on your site, however you had it removed and threatened me with a law suit which you know you have no basis for. I'm pretty sure if you have the capability to remove a review on your site you have contact with the people who run it. So even if you don't send the reviews, you do have the option to remove negative ones suggesting the reviews on your site should be takin with a grain of salt. As for the cleanings I was stating that your brother in law (secretary) scheduled and charged me for cleaning when I was only to come for fillings. I was not in need of cleaning since I had already had one few weeks prior, and another one at the orthodontists after my braces were removed. When I asked your brother in law why he scheduled me for cleaning again, he told me that the orthodontist said I would need to have another cleaning or they would not install my new braces. I checked back with the orthodontist to discover it was a lie and when I confronted you brother in law he backtracked from his story. I understand that me having a personal relationship with your wife may have been the reason for this mistreatment, however I would think you would do a better job of keeping personal issues away from a business you have worked so hard to build over the past 10 years, All the best, Vick Gill read more

My husband, myself and our two children have seen Dr Sekhon for five years now, and followed him from his previous clinic to his state of the art dental centre in Riverbend Square. This was an easy decision for us (even though we live in the extreme North of Edmonton, and his new clinic is located in South Edmonton)! What impresses us most are not only his skills as a dentist--though he surely has great skills - but we can always rest assured that Dr Sekhon and his team will always have our best interests in mind when they advise us of our options. This is way more than we can say about the two dentists we visited before Dr. Sekhon!! Prior to visiting Dr Sekhon, I had severe dental anxiety and often found myself avoiding going to the dentist (even when I was in pain)! After reading several reviews I thought I would give Dr Sekhon a chance! From the moment I walked into his Dental Centre I felt at ease - whether it was the gentleman who greeted me upon arrival (and remembered my name and my fears from my initial telephone conversation), to the dental hygienists who always kept me informed of what they were doing while cleaning my teeth, to Dr Sekhon who spent the time with me to explain my x-rays and go over my options! This is what initially set this clinic apart in my mind!! After years of seeing Dr Sekhon, and moving with him to the Dental Centre in Riverbend Square my family and I still feel important!! He still spends the time to visit with us, respects our time by ensuring he runs on time, stands behind his quality of work, and employs friendly and competent staff! When I go to Dr Sekhon's Dental Centre in Riverbend Square I truly feel valued as a patient and feel empowered to make the right decisions for my health! I have strongly recommended Dr Sekhon to many of my family and friends, and continue to do so today!! I had not been in a dental clinic for nearly 7 years prior to visiting Dr. Sekhon and his staff. My experience in his clinic totally changed the way I view dentistry. Everything about the clinic is welcoming. From the interesting art work and sports memorabilia on the walls to the incredibly cheerful and helpful staff, you truly feel like you are walking into a home. The treatment was fantastic. Time and care were taken to ensure every inch of my mouth were taken care of. The staff took their time to assess any changes I might want to take in my oral care routine and made the necessary recommendations. Dr. Sekhon himself was amazing. He sat with me and went over every detail of the exam. After, instead of rushing out to another patient, we went on to have a great conversation about the woes of the Oilers. My second visit was to get an impression made for a fitted mouth guard. I have always had issues with this as my jaw is difficult to work with. Before my appointment I didn't wait to be seen as arrived, I was looked after immediately and with a smile. The staff had been fantastic to me, explaining each process to me and were able to answer questions I had. I have been looking for a new dentist since I moved to Edmonton and now I am happy to say Dr. Sekhon and his fantastic team will have me as a returning customer. After I left I was extremely satisfied with everything and was completely comfortable there. I would recommend him as a dentist! He really knows his stuff! I especially appreciate that he took the time to go over all my scans. He was very friendly and really down to Earth. The hygienist, Bertie, was amazing as well. If I had an issue she helped me solve it and Made sure things were ok before I left. My issue was how to not get my floss shredded and stuck due to naturally tight teeth. During my numerous visits, I've consistently observed a rather concerning pattern of behavior among the receptionists. Their demeanor and approach towards customers have consistently displayed a notable attitude problem. It's evident that they struggle with effective communication skills, and this shortcoming becomes even more pronounced when interacting with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, such as Asians. What's particularly disheartening is that their behavior often crosses the line into outright discrimination. They seem to harbor biased attitudes, and these prejudices manifest in their interactions. I just visited Dr. Sekhon for the first time yesterday and after my whole life of going to the same dentist I found this a very welcoming positive change. They were extremely thorough and I really felt like my teeth (and gums, that I have not had cleaned before) got an excellent cleaning. The facility is brand new and state of the art. The TV's on the ceiling is an excellent idea. So much better then staring at a poster for an hour or so. From the hygienist to Dr. Sekhon I received the best care. The assessment was informative and did not feel rushed. It was interesting to actually understand what was going on with my mouth. One of the best dental clinics I have ever been to. Prior to coming here I hadn't been to the dentist in over 3 years, primarily due to poor service and treatment in the past. I have been exceptionally pleased with this dental office. One is welcomed by the pleasant receptionist into a beautifully appointed office. The wait is minimal. In this visit, the dental hygenist did a great job of cleaning as well as offering tips on how to deal with a couple of problem areas that I have. I visited Gallery Dental last month to have some crown work done to address 3 tired chipped teeth including my two upper front. The end result was amazing, Dr Sekhon has a wonderful crew and his assistant Emma did a superb job of colour match and fit. She has a very friendly but efficient personality. I was referred to Gallery Dental by a friend after having multiple bad experiences at previous dentists. Dr. Sekhon exceeded all my expectations.
