If you have been searching for authentic island flavors, look no further than Mannge Town Cafe. We were in the area and had been eager to try their Chamorro food, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The chicken kelaguen and red rice were both incredibly flavorful and tasted perfectly authentic--exactly what we were hoping for. We also ordered the Mannge pack, which came with a generous portion of teriyaki beef and garlic chicken; everything was well-prepared and hit the spot. Beyond the food, the hospitality here is fantastic. One of the owners actually stopped by our table to check on us, which was such a thoughtful and congenial touch that made us feel right at home. Between the generous portions, the high-quality Hawaiian and Chamorro dishes, and the welcoming atmosphere, this is a spot we will definitely be returning to!

Last year, my husband and I came here for the first time and reviewed it with one and said, "not coming back". We have families that visited from LA who lived in Guam for a long time and was craving for empanadas. Hoping the menu has improved, we decided to give this place a "chance" for them to give a feedback as well. Overall, we all agreed that the foods were, again, disappointing! 1-5 rating (1 extremely dissatisfied-5 extremely satisfied): Empanada 1 (have you ever tried a cardboard? Rib plate 2 (ribs were dry) Mixed plate (chose beef teriyaki, as recommended by the cashier-too salty you don't need the side finadene. Chamorro chicken was slices of chicken that, according to the cashier, was marinated in soy sauce and vinegar; macaroni had a little taste this time Latiyas 4 service was friendly, although he seems like he was training, he did a great job Perhaps 3rd is a charm? No thanks! Still not worth the price

How cool that there's a restaurant here that serves Chamorro food! We got the chicken kelaguen that came with red rice and potato salad. Ribs plate though I would've liked if it came with a side cucumber salad that was missing, it was still delicious. Hubby and I both loved the empanadas! So happy to get my Guam good fix!

Mural of Guam's ancient latte stones, or simply latte, are a modern symbol of Chamorro strength and identity.

Thursday, 3-12-2026: I met up here with a dear friend. We both wanted to try the food here since my friend is Guamanian. The owner Lou welcomed us in. The eatery is small & clean and exuded island vibes. They also have merchandise for sale. They have a nice menu list comprised of a variety of Guamanian and Hawaiian fare. It was difficult to decide but I eventually chose the Chicken Teriyaki small plate & my friend ordered the Chamorro Chicken small plate. It wasn't long before our meals were ready. We both enjoyed our meals. The chicken was tender & so flavorful. I loved my macaroni salad & she loved her red rice & potato salad. The owners, who are sisters were so friendly & engaging. Lou runs the counter while her sister Maria cooks all the marvelous meals. We look forward to returning. I will try the Guamanian food next time! Thanks to my sweet friend for treating me today!

I'm very happy to have another option for Hawaiian comfort food here in Temecula. I came for the Lau Lau and Kailua pork and cabbage. It was pretty good! Their combo meal includes both, plus rice and Mac salad (I asked for potato salad instead). The Lau Lau is from Hawaii, steamed up and delicious! The Kailua pork is their own, made fresh by the owner. Mannge's menu is a fusion of Hawaiian and Guam flavors. Both menus describe mouth watering combo plates. I will definitely be back to try the Guam side of the menu! There are several tables for onsite dining, best for a small group of 2-4 people. They display and sell island inspired jewelry, bags, snacks and a few clothing items. You will find Hawaiian Sun and Deric's (Red Pine Cafe) homemade Kim Chee and pickled cucumbers in the refrigerator. Tip: post a review on google or yelp and get a free drink or side with your next meal. This is a very friendly family owned business. Be sure to check them out!

I'm always on the hunt for Guam grub! Mannge Town Cafe was not on my radar, but one of my friends told me about this spot as I was in Temecula for a wedding! As it was our first time here and we were hungry, we ordered the Lau Lau and Kalua Pork & Cabbage and Chamorro Fiesta Plate to share. Both were generous portions and we happily divulged! The Chamorro Fiesta plate inlcuded ribs, chicken, red rice and potato salad. The Lau Lau and Kalua Pork & Cabbage inlcuded rice and mac salad. Were they the best renditions of those dishes? Not necessarily, but good enough for me! I would definitely come back here to get some island grub while in Temecula!

This place serves food from Guam which I haven't tried, they also have Hawaiian as well. I came here after staying at the casino nearby and wanted to try a new place. I wanted to try their Kelaguen bowl ($16.99) which consists of chopped cooked chicken with strong lemon forward flavor. It came with red rice and potato salad. The Kelaguen was very lemony which I liked and the sides were a bit bland. The staff was nice and the place was clean.

First time here. Friendly atmosphere. A good amount of seats. There was jewelry for sale. They also had some snack items to purchase. 3 choice combo we got was garlic chicken, beef teri, and coconut shrimp. Flavoring was good on the plate. Mac Salad was a little dry but it's fine. Lau Lau plate was the same, I didn't find any fish in mine but there was a lot of leaves in mine. Pork was dry, maybe cause there I couldn't find the fish. Flavor was still good. Just needed to add a little sea salt. I wish the plates already came with red rice though. Other than that, it is a good place, would come back to try other things.

Tried Mannge Cafe for the first time recently an it was very delicious. My husband is from the big island so we always try to find a taste of back home for him on the mainland. We were both very happy with the taste and portion sizes. They have a lot of food and drink options and we hope to stop by again to try out more items.

I have fond memories of my other mom's Guamanian dishes, and have learned from her how to make many of them like kelaguen, red rice and fina denne. So when I saw a post about this new eatery I knew I had to try it out. The location is small, but it does the trick. I was greeted immediately from the ladies in the kitchen...felt welcoming, like going into someone's home. The menu has great options, for Guamanian and Island food. Ordered a couple of meat plates, one with galbi beef ribs, with sides of red rice and mac salad. The other was pork ribs, with island chicken , red rice and potato salad. All were delicious, the meats were perfect, sides were too. I wish the denne was a little spicier, or at least had that as an option. Will definitely be back for those platters!!!

I haven't had Chamorro food in quite some time, and there was a restaurant in San Diego that I used to really enjoy, so when this location appeared on my Yelp feed, I was excited to try it. I ordered a small beef plate with macaroni salad and red rice. There is a $1.50 upcharge for the red rice, and I believe customers should have the option to choose between white or red rice without an additional charge. I paid $20 for a small plate, which didn't include much food. Unfortunately, the beef was not tender, and the marinade and seasoning were not very noticeable. I was hoping to enjoy this meal more, but it fell short of expectations. However, I am open to giving this restaurant another try, as I understand that restaurants can have off days.

Tony M.

I called in a mixed plate order and had a great experience with the staff -- everyone was very friendly, and my order was ready on time. The food tasted good, but I was disappointed by the portion size of the chicken and beef. For over $20, I expected a much more generous serving, especially for a mixed plate. Overall, solid service and good flavor, but the value didn't quite match the price for me. I'd consider returning if the portion sizes improved.

Mannge Town Cafe is a hidden gem offering authentic island eats from Chamorro and Hawaiian cuisine. We stopped by after hearing about this place through a coworker who missed food from home. I ordered the Lau Lau and Kalua Pork & Cabbage, and it hit the spot 4.5/5. The kalua pork and cabbage reminded me of my father's cooking. I wished the Lau Lau was bigger, but the owner said it's sourced from Hawaii so it makes sense store-bought ones always leave you wanting for more. My partner ordered the chicken kelaguen and it's my first time having it. It reminded me of tuna salad but with chicken meat instead. A pricier plate lunch place ($20+) but that's because a lot of the ingredients are sourced out of state. Would definitely like to come back if I have island cravings!

OK, so, our go to Hawaiian BBQ place closed. A quick Yelp! search revealed another hidden gem of the Islands right here on Temecula Pkwy. The food was well prepared and flavorful. The family enjoyed the chicken katsu, spam musubi, Chamorro chicken, and teriyaki chicken - along with the requisite white rice, mac salad and katsu sauce. All was comparable to the comforting food I've come to crave, but I felt that it had a more homemade quality. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming. You must try Mannge Town and support your local businesses. read more

It was good but not gonna lie the reviews about portion size are pretty true, grabbed the Chamorro and rib plate cost like $26 after tax and the portions were so small. Ribs were okay probably like 6 pieces but the Chamorro it was only like 3-4 tiny pieces. Probably won't be back. I was actually gonna go to "yo cheesesteak" but it was closed and the reviews about their portions match the pictures as well so I won't even waste my time with them either. read more

Had a craving for lau lau and decided to order a lau lau plate lunch. Overall, the lau lau was a decent portion and it was a standard plate lunch with rice topped with furikake and mac salad. Lau lau could have used a bit more salt, but that is a personal preference and I added salt to my taste. Son liked the side of caliguian (I didn't like it), but he didn't like the side of potato salad. Would we order again? Yes, whenever we miss the taste of home. read more

We ordered takeout tonight and the lady on the phone was so kind and gave me lots of recommendations and answered any questions I had! our food was absolutely amazing. I got the mixed Plate with coconut shrimp and teriyaki beef and the beef with some of the most tender I have ever had. The coconut shrimp was crispy too perfection and the mac was delicious and stood out from any I have had before! My husband got the crispy chicken plate and he really enjoyed it. We also got the Latiya cake which was an absolute treat. We cannot wait to come back! read more

A Hidden Gem with Island Flavor - Maange Town If you're looking for authentic island comfort food with heart, look no further than Maange Town! Tucked away in a small business strip across from a private school, this cozy little spot serves up Chamorro and Hawaiian favorites with a little Filipino adobo offered. We came as a party of three and sampled a good variety from their menu: Chamorro Chopsteak, Pork Adobo (offered as a daily special), Chicken Katsu, Empanadas, Shrimp Patties, Chamorro Lumpia, and for dessert, the heavenly Latiya. Every single dish was packed with flavor--the empanadas and shrimp patties were huge and satisfying, and they even offered fina'denne' on the side, which brought everything together perfectly. A special highlight was meeting one of the owners, Maria, who shared the heartfelt story behind the restaurant. Maria recently retired and wanted to just do a food truck business but was inspired by others to look into a restaurant. The restaurant logo is a tribute to her mother, and you can really feel the love and passion that goes into both the food and the atmosphere. The place had a laid-back island vibe, complete with island music and even Chamorro songs playing when we sat down--a true cultural touch that made us feel at home. Maria even offers Chamorro merch. Maange Town has only been open for about five months, but you'd never guess it from the quality and care they put into their food and service. Once word spreads, this spot is going to be booming. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting this local gem--you'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. read more

If you're on the hunt for a taste of Chamorro and Hawaiian cuisine, look no further. The moment you step inside you are met with friendly staff that makes you feel like part of the family. Whether you're dining in or taking out, the café has a cozy vibe that's perfect for a casual meal or a small gathering with friends. Now, let's talk about the food! I ordered all mini bowls because we wanted to try the different bowls of food. The infamously delicious *red rice*, paired with chicken kelaguan was yummy. I also ordered the spicy garlic chicken and kalbi mini bowl and had to order to go for later the chicken chilaquiles, now that bowl had so much flavor I wished I had ordered another bowl as this is a special menu only on some weekends. They are happy to explain the dishes and make recommendations if you're unsure of what to order. The service is prompt, and the attention to detail is evident. Prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and authenticity of the food. Portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied. If your craving food from the islands, I highly recommend trying it out -- your taste buds will thank you! read more

First drop in to this restaurant with a cute island vibe and lovely service. Have been looking for a place with chicken kelaguen and Mannge Town Cafe did not disappoint! The flavors of the red rice, chicken were delicious - especially with a touch of finadene. We were on a road trip so the family also wanted basic spam musubis but these were far from basic. Very good flavor - far better in volume and taste than other places we have been. The potato salad with the kelaguen bowl was yummy and the shanghai lumpias were good sized for a side snack. You can shop for some island snacks there as well as some very nice handmade island style jewelry and shirts too! Wish we lived closer. Will definitely be back to try more! read more
