The craftsman style house, great lawn/tent and fountain are all an idealic setting to celebrate a wedding. After looking at several wineries in Lodi for our ceremony and reception, it became obvious to my fiance and I that Bare Ranch was the total package. Beautiful setting and very reasonably priced... Score! Because Micheal David Winery owns the property, Michael David wines are served at weddings - double score! The whole process in booking our Spring 2012 wedding has been so easy and enjoyable. Lori has been a joy to work with and has given me as a bride something priceless... peace of mind! Any brides considering a vineyard wedding should see this place first hand, photos do not do it justice!

Bare Ranch is easy to get to and is a very beautiful place. Well maintained and spacious. There is a gorgeous pool area for cocktail hour and white tent for reception is included. Don't need to decorate much cause this place is naturally smashing. Met with the event coordinator, Lori, and she is a doll. Love the fact that they only do ONE wedding a day (that's a big deal when there are SO many details involved.) We are really drawn to this place.. BUT this is the FIRST venue we checked out, still shopping around......

The guy behind the booth, I believe was the owner and he was explaining that their olive oil is custom pressed from their 100-year-old manzanillo olive trees which gives it a unique flavor, he also explained that the trees are dry farmed which contributed to the flavor too. I'm from LA but have family in Sacramento, I saw on their website/ alongside google they were located in Lodi and that they were open. I decided to give them a call because of the long drive, the lady I spoke to said they had a private event the day I called and asked if I come over Monday or Tuesday which was really preferred for her. I agreed and went on Tuesday. When I arrived the place was very hard to locate. There is no sign or anything, it seems to be a private house. I called the number provided on their website and spoke to the lady again and she said they aren't open to the public and that they only accept cash and wanted me to leave it under the mat. Then why tell me to come Tuesday and that it was preferred to you?? She then said she would give me a call back to let me know if anyone else is there to help me. She never called me back, I gave her a few calls trying to reach her and it seems like she blocked me or is refusing to answer my calls Is that how you treat costumers? I normally don't write reviews but this was the worse experience I've had. I drove 45 mins plus for nothing and just to gain this experience. Do not tell your costumers to come on a day where you aren't even present and then GHOST them. You lost my business along side multiple family members and friends. I hope you fix this problem and fix your website so it doesn't give FALSE information to future costumers. Please fix yourselves and this problem.

It was our first time visiting from the Bay Area, and it was truly a memorable experience. We ordered the chicken wings and calamari, plus two drinks. Our bartender recommended the Freak Show Cabernet, and it was delicious. I appreciated how attentive the team was: when I accidentally knocked over my drink, the staff quickly and graciously helped clean up, along with a few flowers I bumped in the process. I apologize for the clumsiness on my part. The chef also came out to greet us, which was a wonderful personal touch. Overall, we had an incredible time. If you're looking for great food and warm hospitality, I highly recommend The Exchange. I'll definitely be telling everyone on social media to stop by for a wonderful experience.

We sat inside, where the space features exposed brick, artwork throughout, and very comfortable seating... my partner specifically pointed that out. The layout includes a mix of seating areas, which gives it a more relaxed, layered feel. The bar area, known as the Ghost Lounge, adds a darker, more lounge-like element to the overall atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our server, Lacy, was friendly, attentive, and witty - easily one of the best servers we've had in a while. For drinks, I had a local Oak Farm red wine that was excellent. Others in our group had mimosas, which were well received... especially the grapefruit mimosa, which my partner really enjoyed. For food, there were several highlights. My partner had the chicken and waffles and loved it; I tried some and would agree it was very good. Another person in our group ordered the steak breakfast tacos, which came as a set of three. They only ate two, and I had the third and it was delicious and something I would recommend. Another in our group had the eggs Benedict and thought it was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs. It was okay, but not something I would go out of my way to order again. In terms of value, prices felt consistent with the quality of the food, service, and overall setting. It's not a budget brunch spot, but it feels appropriate for the experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable Easter brunch with great service, a comfortable and well-designed interior, and several strong menu items. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5, though if half-points were an option, this would land closer to a 4.5. We'd definitely come back.

Nice gals working at the register to take your order. Since it was almost Thanksgiving, I had a craving for a roasted turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. The Cranberry Express was the closest choice. I ordered it on a french roll with cream cheese, a little mayo, cranberry sauce and the turkey meat. I must say that I was disappointed with how little turkey was placed in my sandwich. Nothing what I expected. Everything was fresh, however, there could've been a bit more turkey in between the bread. I left out the lettuce and tomato only. That would've fluffed it up. For the price of $13+, and comparing it to what I saw in their menu photos, I don't think I'd return anytime soon for a sandwich (half pictured). They have a wide selection of salads, baked goods, cold beverages, bottled wine and also a butcher shop here too.

Mom (and I) have Scottish heritage and she grew up with her Scottish Dad singing Highland songs to her and in turn sang them to me. So it would be an understatement to say this music was a very important component of Mom's funeral service. Dr. Pazo phoned me beforehand to get a sense of what the service would be like and what our musical requests were. He was compassionate, kind, and efficient at a time when I was in shock from my mom's death but needed to call on my executive functioning skills for funeral planning. Definitely a challenging time but I was so relieved that the bagpipes would be played at my mom's funeral. When the day arrived it was an incredibly moving and powerful experience to arrive at the graveside and see Dr. Pazo in his full regalia and hear the haunting sound of the resonant bagpipes which filled the air. The bagpipes and the beautiful songs Dr. Pazo played gave a weight and power, a somber honor to my mother's life that I and my family will always remember. We grateful for Dr. Pazo's artistry, empathy, and power as he played the bagpipes. Some time after mom's funeral I watched Queen Elizabeth's funeral. When I heard and saw the bagpipe procession, I said, "I think we had a better bagpipe player at mom's funeral." That's how great Dr. Pazo is! Realize the kids are gonna be at the Silo entrance further down so trek back to car and drive there. Grab my large jacket and thankfully mine and the kid's lunch in a foil cooler shopping bag and my now only half filled (with water) 40 oz Stanley. The trek from my car to the silo entrance to the kids meeting point inside was LONG. It felt like I had come from hot yoga at this point with all the walking and sun now coming out. It was the beginning of some regrets. But glad I grabbed everything because there was no going back to the car at this point with car over a miles away. Heavy jacket stayed tied around my waist for the rest of the day like a bag of heavy rocks. Add to this the shiny foil bag and my nearly empty 40 oz Stanley with no water fountains in sight. Aside from my large load I toted around all day, the activities around this pumpkin patch are very fun and plentiful. The haunted house is very scary and some little kids will cry from it so be warned. The staff were nice. I understand they want us to buy water but that is where I took away the star because no water fountains. I was chaperoning and some kids were thirsty and I said let's keep an eye out for a water fountain. We never found one. Overall though this place is cool like a mini Disneyland for Pumpkin Farms. Was pleasantly surprised!
