Kids were having a fun time picking cherries from the trees. The staff was accommodating to my elderly uncle, who isn't capable of walking several yards to the majority of the cherry trees which was in the middle of the farm. They allowed him to pick from the trees which was closer to the entrance. Cherries are $6.50 per pound. Nine bucks if the employees pick the cherries for you. They also sell their own brand of gourmet honey.

Came to pick cherries during the holiday weekend, which was the 1st open weekend. Wasn't too crowded when I went early morning. They provide instructions upon entry, pretty simple to follow. They had cherries, but not rows in abundance as I've been other places. They had rows, but majority of the trees are not ripe yet so I'd say limited. There were some nice/dark cherries higher up in a lot of trees but they don't offer ladders cuz those are reserved for their "online customers". They are $6/lb compared to $4/lb I've seen. Before I knew it, I had 5lbs. Price was $30! Upon leaving I seen a stand for $1.. lol. I picked my own cherries so the experience does matter. Cherries are firm & sweet, even the bright red ones.

Always a joy to come here with the family and spend the morning learning about the orchard and picking some delicious fresh cherries. Hands down our favorite spot for family time on a weekend. See you next year!

They offer a tour on memorial day weekend and a few weeks after very limited events do to the ripe season of the Cherry . The tour experience was great and informative for a look into the farm world secrets..there are more than one type of Cherry learn the history here. Great for photography and kids day .

Rather than head all they way to Brentwood, this year we decided to check out Lodi Blooms for cherry picking. Right off the bat, some of the pros are Lodi Blooms is closer to home, less traffic in the surrounding area, friendly staff and delicious cherries! We visited very early in the season so we were limited to a few rows of trees but found the cherries on those trees were ripe and plentiful. I appreciate that before we got started the staff explained that at $6 a lb a larger bag of cherries would cost close to $100 while a smaller bag was about $50. This helped us gauge how to much to pick and mentally prepare us for how much we were about to spend. The staff was also helpful in helping us navigate through the fields and stay on course. The kids had a fun time picking from lower on the trees and working as a team to reach higher up. In the end we managed to escape with 2 lbs of cherries and an unforgettable experience. We'll be back next year!

*OPEN FOR CHERRY PICKING AND CHERRY PICK UP DURING COVID-19!* I love love love this Cherry Farm! It was my mom's dream to go Cherry Picking one day and I decided to take her here for Mother's Day. This place is usually open Fri-Sun 9 AM - 4 PM. Check their Instagram page for up to date information! This place is super organized. All the workers were wearing masks and guided my family and I to the parking lot and the orchard. U-Pick Cherries are $5/lb and Pre-Picked Cherries are $6/lb. The orchard had about 3 varieties of cherries; I liked bing cherries the best. There are plenty of cherries on the trees and your bucket fills up pretty quickly. Don't pass over trees that seem like they don't have fruit! The best fruits are usually hidden with leaves. I really enjoyed my time here and my mom was having a blast. The employees made this experience super easy and were super nice as well. I'd recommend this place to take kids or your family!

Went here with the family today, great place! A little crowded, C*#$%-19 stay-at-home is driving everyone crazy I'm sure! But for all the people there it was great! Everyone was so spread out in the orchard that it didn't really matter. People wore masks and were all very polite. Great place to check out! Oh and the cherries!! Yum!

Everyone here was so warm and welcoming. There was a delicious looking taco truck at the entrance as well as a line of well kept porta-potties. Once in the orchard the trees were dripping with big ripe cherries ready for picking. The trees were painted to make distinguishing the different varieties easy. The attendants showed us the best areas to pick and we were off to harvest. Our three year old daughter was beyond excited to make out with three buckets of beautiful cherries. Payment was easy as they take cash and card. We can't wait to come back again next year!

Fresh hand-picked from Lodi Blooms vs. store-bought cherries!

Since it was not too busy, she also got to enjoy the giant pillow bouncer. We ran through bales of hay, played in the corn pit, and enjoyed some fresh homemade pumpkin bread from the snack shack. I should also mention 2 & under are free, so there's quite a bit got a two year old to do considering. Tip: follow them on instagram to get the latest updates on hours and available fruits for picking. The place is quite large, so you'll need to pay for their tractor ride ($4) to get from station to station. We came around 10:00 a.m. on a Monday and the place wasn't crowded. We picked up our baskets and then let the kids place around their tree house for a little bit before getting on the tractor. Our first stop was peaches and apricots. The peaches were pretty low hanging, and the kids were so excited to pick them. However, there weren't that many ripe ones at this time. There were more ripe apricots, and they were sweet and juicy. Our next stop was the strawberry station where there were plenty of ripe strawberries. Our last stop was the cherry station. Our driver directed us to the last row where we could find ladders. Sure enough the cherries were plentiful and so sweet and juicy. There were even kid size ladders for the littles ones. The fruits were 100 times better than what you'll find at the grocery store, and the kids had so much fun picking their own fruits. If you need a fun activity with the kids, I high recommend coming here.

However, there was no water available, and the staff member at the front wasn't able to tell us where to find any. Overall, it felt like the weekday experience lacked attention to guest services. In comparison, Urban Edge Farm, just a few minutes away, offered outstanding service, high-quality produce, and complimentary rides, making for a much more enjoyable visit.

This was our first trip to G&M Farms in Livermore and it was incredibly special and actually quite the fun surprise off the freeway. As we were coming home from a night away, we wanted to stop and have a moment with our little amongst the pumpkins and support an East Bay pumpkin patch. As we were about to pass Livermore, we saw signage and oodles of fun happening for G&M Farms so we pulled off. There is so much to do here! You can grab a red Radio Flyer wagon and truly go hunting for the perfect pumpkin within the patch itself, or if you're on the hunt for more smaller pumpkins/gourds there is a whole gift shop/farm store that is so incredibly cute for basically every pumpkin vibe you can imagine. Plenty of spots to stop and take pictures with friends or family. There's a corn maze, drinks/snacks like mini donuts, popcorn, and corn dogs, and speaking of corn..oh-em-gee! Truly wanted to share a review for this reason alone. Looking for a sensory activity for your little? There is not a sandbox, but a giant CORN box for play. The adults also tried it (essentially we just put our feet in and it felt surprisingly really nice. Something unexpected and truly unique, fun, and interactive. We also noticed a few other activities on the pumpkin patch side like a tractor/train ride and I'm not sure if there was a petting zoo? Regardless, worth a trip if you haven't made your pumpkin haul yet. Plenty of room for strollers and very spread out. Can't wait to make the corn box an annual tradition. Looking forward to truly enjoying the patch next year with more time. Thank you G&M Farms for the memories! Still finding little corn kernels ;)
