Took my mom here for Mother's Day and we had such a wonderful time! It wasn't too crowded since it was the first day of cherry picking season, which made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. They have everything set up for you, including bags to use while picking that you can purchase at the end. If you choose not to buy the bag, they'll happily transfer your cherries into another bag for you. U-pick pricing was around $6.25 per pound, which felt reasonable for such a fun experience and fresh fruit. The property was very family-friendly with other small businesses and attractions on site, making it easy to spend a few hours there. Overall, it was such a lovely outing and a great way to spend Mother's Day together. We'll definitely be back! read more

The staff was accommodating to my elderly uncle, who isn't capable of walking several yards to the majority of the cherry trees which was in the middle of the farm. They allowed him to pick from the trees which was closer to the entrance. Cherries are $6.50 per pound. Nine bucks if the employees pick the cherries for you. Of course u need the ripe dark ones ... the light or bright red is gona be more sour. Came to pick cherries during the holiday weekend, which was the 1st open weekend. Wasn't too crowded when I went early morning. They provide instructions upon entry, pretty simple to follow. They had cherries, but not rows in abundance as I've been other places. They had rows, but majority of the trees are not ripe yet so I'd say limited. There were some nice/dark cherries higher up in a lot of trees but they don't offer ladders cuz those are reserved for their "online customers". They are $6/lb compared to $4/lb I've seen. Before I knew it, I had 5lbs. Price was $30! Upon leaving I seen a stand for $1.. lol. I picked my own cherries so the experience does matter. Best people and the best cherries! We have been driving to Lodi for these cherries for 2 years now and they are worth the time, travel, and the money. The farmers are amazing humans, kind and helpful whether you are ordering for shipment or coming in to pick up. No comparison! Due to illness we did not make it this year to Lodi and went to an orchard closer to San Jose. The cherries were no where near the perfection of the Lodi Blooms/Chinchiolo cherries. Rather than head all they way to Brentwood, this year we decided to check out Lodi Blooms for cherry picking. Right off the bat, some of the pros are Lodi Blooms is closer to home, less traffic in the surrounding area, friendly staff and delicious cherries! We visited very early in the season so we were limited to a few rows of trees but found the cherries on those trees were ripe and plentiful. I appreciate that before we got started the staff explained that at $6 a lb a larger bag of cherries would cost close to $100 while a smaller bag was about $50. This helped us gauge how to much to pick and mentally prepare us for how much we were about to spend. The staff was also helpful in helping us navigate through the fields and stay on course. The kids had a fun time picking from lower on the trees and working as a team to reach higher up. In the end we managed to escape with 2 lbs of cherries and an unforgettable experience. This place is usually open Fri-Sun 9 AM - 4 PM. Check their Instagram page for up to date information! This place is super organized. All the workers were wearing masks and guided my family and I to the parking lot and the orchard. U-Pick Cherries are $5/lb and Pre-Picked Cherries are $6/lb. The orchard had about 3 varieties of cherries; I liked bing cherries the best. There are plenty of cherries on the trees and your bucket fills up pretty quickly. Don't pass over trees that seem like they don't have fruit! The best fruits are usually hidden with leaves. I really enjoyed my time here and my mom was having a blast. The employees made this experience super easy and were super nice as well. I'd recommend this place to take kids or your family! read more

Me and my friend were looking forward to this and were so excited to checkout Lodi Blooms for cherry picking. Unfortunately, we went on Memorial Day weekend and there were only a few rows of cherries' trees that are ready to pick but, the cherries are very small and there were not much on the lower part of the trees to pick. The big ones are on top and with no ladder to pick, we were left with a very slim picking. The price per lb were expensive as well about $6+/lb. i don't mind paying extra for the experience, but the cherries were small and some trees are not ready to pick. I really wanted to leave a good review, but i need to be honest. I don't recommend this farm for cherry picking unfortunately unless they open up more of their farm for cherry picking and the cherries are ready to pick. read more

Went here with the family today, great place! A little crowded, C*#$%-19 stay-at-home is driving everyone crazy I'm sure! But for all the people there it was great! Drove all the way from Folsom with 5 kids excited to pick cherries. We checked the times they were open, called before we drove down. They were closed. Message has not been changed on their phone. Very fun experience! They were well-organized, cheerfully helpful, and best of all, had the sweetest cherries! They marked parking areas well. The 6' distance in lines were helpful. Everyone here was so warm and welcoming. There was a delicious looking taco truck at the entrance as well as a line of well kept porta-potties. Once in the orchard the trees were dripping with big ripe cherries ready for picking. The trees were painted to make distinguishing the different varieties easy. The attendants showed us the best areas to pick and we were off to harvest. Our three year old daughter was beyond excited to make out with three buckets of beautiful cherries. Why would one pay $4/lb when they can get them on sale at the stores for less than $2/lb this time of year? Look at the picture here and you'll understand why. The ones on the left are from Lodi Blooms; the ones in the small bowl are from Sprouts bought a couple of days ago! These cherries from Lodi Bloom are big, juicy and sweet! It's also for the experience. Great family time spending the day out with the kids in the orchard tasting and picking these off the trees yourselves. Our eyes are always bigger than our stomachs, so now I gotta figure out what else I can do with these cherries other than eating them fresh! :) Staff was nice and parking was pretty easy. Portable potty stations are also available. There was a taco truck today by the parking lot, so if you're hungry you get get a bite from there. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because we were told "no purses" when we pulled up to the first greeter. I had a small crossbody bag. I said, "no purses?" She replied with "it's for safety reason, and there's someone walking around the parking lot to make sure your purse in the car will be safe." Hmmm...not sure how it would be unsafe for me to walk around the orchard with a crossbody purse on...?! Not sure if they think people would actually stuff cherries into their purses and walk out without paying for them? Anyway, that's odd, because I always make sure to check for a company's rules on their website before going. It only states no ice chests, coolers or backpacks on their site, and nothing about no purses. read more

So nice to have a cherry picking orchard 5 minutes away from our house! Their cherries are sooo delicious and the people are so friendly.

The whole family went for some cherry picking yesterday and it was a lot of fun. The staff were very nice and the cherry trees are low enough to reach the fruits and even better to climb the tree like the old days. Cherries are really suite and it was a pretty good size as well. There's nothing like foraging for your own nourishment, however, the premium cost to do it makes it undesirable for some. $5 per pound and you can choose from a 3lb bucket or 7(?)lb bucket and there are plenty trees to pick from. The best pickings are up in the tree and you are not allowed to climb the tree or use any step assistance so the better resolution is to go with your smallest child/niece/nephew/cousin that can help pick those left up high with guided direction. I was surprised to see little to no bugs on the trees. Parking can be a task, if none is available, you would have to wait until someone leaves. Sometimes the line to park is long and once you're in it, you're in it. No cost for parking or admission. Only cost is time, double cost per pound of cherries and gas. Being able to thank the tree for its fruit is priceless! read more

Their cherries are the best! The only reason for 4 stars was the price and the fact that you have to drive thru the orchard just to buy already picked cherries. They would do a lit more business if they have a stand for already picked cherries next to the road on lower Sacramento road or mettler road. It is inconvenient for someone who only wants to buy cherries to have to go thru the orchard. They should also have separate lines for purchasing already picked cherries. Families looked like they were having fun picking/eating cherries that is probably why the price is high. In these times I don't know many people who can afford $6.00 a pound for already picked cherries. Mostly teenagers, girls working there who are very nice and polite. I loved the cherries, I just don't know if I am willing to pay the price or going thru the orchard to get them again. Also better signage is needed on the main roads with entrance assistance. read more
