I had only taken a 6-hour driving course with her but passed on my very first attempt! Not only is Jatinder highly experienced, but she is also very friendly. This place is definitely worth the splurge, and the pricing is fair and transparent. I was not at all experienced in driving, but Jatinder made me feel comfortable and highlighted all the road rules during our lessons, making me feel more confident about driving. Communicating with her was easy and, quite frankly, fast. She's very organized and was very understanding of my tight schedule with high school. Honestly, I recommend her to anyone who lives in Milpitas as their go-to place for learning how to drive. The ambiance here is always inviting and reflects their unmatched service. I became so much better at driving and trusted Jatinder Ji because I assure you that she knows what she is doing. Furthermore, she taught me things like changing lanes, of which I was very weak at first, and many other things, such as how to enter a bike lane. After Jatinder's lessons, I left feeling confident and amazed by how much they go out of their way to help their students become safe drivers! She even provides unique services that other driving schools don't help out with, such as providing her car for the test! With prices. She even dropped me off and picked me up at locations that worked best for me. It came in really handy for me, who was a high school student and needed to get dropped off at my part-time job. Jatinder, your positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers are really commendable. Such a friendly instructor! If you're looking for a fast and well-worth-your-money instructor, I assure you that you will get that from Jatinder and Star Plus.

More recently we signed him up for their Drive Test Package which included a 1-hour pre-drivers test lesson with an experienced ex-DMV examiner and followed by a successful driving test at the DMV. Our first interaction with A-Z Driving School was with Erin, she was very helpful and thoroughly went over all the options of service they provide. The prices are fair, they offer continuously flexible session times, and their cars are clean and recent models. A-Z's driving instructors are professional, patient and exude great communication and experience to teach effectively. We'd like to extend special thanks to Erin, Dillion and Anita. They helped us through this necessary but stressful life event and are terrific people.

His first lesson was with Natalie. She was great. He was very nervous and she helped ease his nerves. After the lesson, she had wrote down the areas he needed to focus on. She went over it with both my son and me. He also got a checklist to prepare for the driving test. His next two lessons were with Steve, who was very professional and got him on the freeway and helped him with preparing for the exam including backing up. A few months later, we got two more lessons (4 hours). Erin again was a great help in helping schedule. He had another lesson with Steve. He also had another instructor Katie, also professional and helped him with parking and other areas he requested more practice with. My son passed his driving exam today on the first try. The foundations provided to him definitely helped. I've recommended A-Z to other parents looking for lessons.

A friend recommended Phuong, and I'm so grateful we found her. From the very first lesson, my daughter felt much more at ease. Phuong is incredibly patient, calm, and understanding, and she created a supportive environment that really helped rebuild my daughter's confidence. Thanks to her guidance, my daughter passed her driving test today! I truly appreciate the way Phuong teaches--not just the technical skills, but also how she encourages and supports her students. It made all the difference for us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and effective driving instructor.

It was at 3pm which was good for my son to deal with afternoon traffic driving. Instructor: very communicative via text and phone call. Sometimes he was early, which worked great for us. Because our 19-year old daughter has learning disabilities, my wife and I wanted to make sure she…read morereceived additional driving instruction and contacted Beverly Driving School. We were willing to pay additional funds to help our daughter competently manage the responsibility of a car. We paid for 82 hours of lessons beginning 6/18/25 to 10/18/25. All of our payments were made directly by request to Mack (real name: Mohsen Khaziri) and not Beverly Driving School. The number on his website is his cell phone. Mohsen was aware our daughter had learning disabilities and we were convinced he had the training and skills to help someone like her. Knowing that he was a father gave us even more confidence that she would get the security she needed. And the fact that we invested a significant sum of money is a testimony to our commitment to get her the help she needed. On our initiative, my wife and I did ride-alongs with Mack and our daughter because we put our trust in him as a professional. When our daughter started giving us feedback that her motivation for continuing was lacking, we didn't take it too seriously since it's been a challenge for her to stick with things. Later, we realized the discomfort wasn't the process but was with Mack. Our daughter told us she was touched inappropriately on multiple occasions. He repeatedly asked to meet with her outside of lessons and requested it be kept secret. I confronted Mack by phone on 10/18/25 and after asking directly, he acknowledged viewing pictures of her on her phone. I also asked him directly about touching her thigh and he said yes - apparently because she moved her seat too far forward. Lastly, I asked him if he had ever behaved inappropriately and he denied it. He did not apologize for any of this but changed the subject to her upcoming driving test. My wife and I have taken further steps with the police about this. We filed police report P25-291-0621 with SJPD Officer D. Tran #5131. He took advantage of a person with learning disabilities and it doesn't matter what age. It was one of the most deplorable things one can do. It was done from a position of immaturity and he could have told us this was going on but he didn't say a word. We do not want this behavior to be repeated with anyone else. In addition, at the end of summer, Mack also asked us for a significant cash advance because he "needed it". We refused. I also repeatedly asked for billing statements and after repeated entreaties, received a hastily typed word document. I'm still waiting for a summarized statement of our lessons.

He is probably the best instructor in the Bay Area, and he will get you confidently driving in no time! I did 9 lessons with Alan over a period of 1 month, and he took me from being not very confident (after trying out three lessons a different instructor) to passing my test and driving well on the freeway! This was done with zero practice in between lessons. Alan is extremely professional, is always on time, and delivers same day feedback. He also tailors his teaching style to the student's learning style, and is keen on understanding his students' thought process if mistakes are made, so they can be properly fixed. For every single weakness I had in my driving, Alan had a strategy to fix it - this included fixing my turning speed, correctly using my mirrors, lane positioning and keeping the wheel straight. He is adept at observing to see exactly what the student is doing wrong and coming up with a formula to correct it. Additionally, he is extremely professional. He was always punctual and polite, never raised his voice and never did anything that diminished my confidence in any way as a student who was initially struggling. I have always had some anxiety about driving, but I actually looked forward to my lessons because I started to enjoy driving as I could feel myself improving. On the day of the lesson, he made sure that I was confident and encouraged me not to feel anxious, and I was happy to pass on my first try. Scheduling is also easy on the website, and the response rate is fast. If you need to learn how to drive, you can't go wrong with Alan at Perfect Score!

First driving lesson went well - I can't say that the instructor's car was clean or pleasant, but…read moreit had wheels and the breaks worked - fair enough, right? However, the second lesson didn't go well at all. As soon as I sat down behind the wheel, he gave me a direction to drive in, and then immediately dialed into a phone call, hung up, dialed in again.. answered calls - he had me out on the road, going in a direction I wasn't familiar with, at traffic speed (between 45 and 55 mph). This was a shock to me but probably would have been fine - however he was taking calls the whole time. His cell phone would startle me every time it rang, and his conversation was distracting. He did this even though I repeatedly told him it was making me uncomfortable. This kind of behaviour continued until I finally pulled up to a curb and told him I didn't want him to take any more phonecalls (mind you, this was 1 hour into the lesson, and at least 6-8 calls later!) and that we were going to cut the lesson short, and drive home. I didn't know where we were, but once we finally arrived in my neighbourhood I was about to take a familiar turn en route home when he SCREAMED 'NO KEEP GOING STRAIGHT!!' I got the fright of my life and thought I was about to crash into something - turns out he had single-handedly made the decision that 'we were going to go keep driving'. Yeah, right. That's when he turned snappy and rude, as if it was my fault we were going back? I told him that if I say we're going home, we ARE going home - and I didn't appreciate him making decisions otherwise. When we arrived at my house, he said 'next time I'll turn the sound on my phone off'. Needless to say, I promptly let him know that there wouldn't be a next time.

I highly recommend Micaela to anyone looking for a driving instructor!…read more When I started taking lessons with her, I was basically returning to driving after a 20-year break -- and on top of that, I had to learn how to drive confidently and safely in the U.S. Micaela made the whole process so much easier than I expected. She is incredibly patient, calm, supportive, and very easy to feel comfortable with. She explained things in a way that finally made sense to me and taught me skills that other instructors had not been able to teach me. Parallel parking is a perfect example -- Micaela showed me a simple technique, and in a surprisingly short time, I was able to do it confidently on my own. Another huge advantage is that Micaela speaks Russian in addition to English and Spanish. For Russian-speaking students who are new to driving in the U.S., this can be especially helpful. It didn't take us long to get me comfortable behind the wheel and prepared for driving in America after such a long break. I'm truly grateful to Micaela for her patience, encouragement, and professionalism. Current student going through the program and may change rating based on ongoing experience…read more I started the program about 2-3 weeks ago, mainly because they recently began offering weekend classes, which worked well for me since I have a demanding full-time job. So far, unfortunately, my experience has not been great. I'm not sure if it's because the hybrid/online model is still new for them, but it really feels like they don't have the process fully organized yet. Most of the issues come down to lack of communication and unclear expectations for online students. Once I paid my deposit, I wasn't really guided through the next steps. I was briefly shown the portal we use for coursework (CIMA) and told to download WhatsApp because that's how we communicate with instructors. Beyond that, I pretty much had to figure things out on my own. I even had to personally ask questions in the group chat because I was confused, and it turned out several other students felt the same way. Eventually we found out there's an orientation every Monday, but nobody clearly explained that upfront. The virtual learning environment has also been frustrating. During online sessions, chats are muted and virtual students can't really ask questions because the instructors are focused on the in-person class. That honestly makes no sense to me considering online students are paying the same tuition as in-person students. It feels like the virtual students are an afterthought. Even submitting homework has been confusing. We use Dropbox, but I was basically just told to "download Dropbox" and had to dig through old chat messages to find the actual submission links and instructions. At this point, I honestly feel unclear every step of the way. I spend more time trying to figure out logistics, apps, links, and expectations than actually focusing on learning. The frustrating part is that these seem like very simple organizational issues that could easily be improved with clearer communication and better onboarding for online students. I'm still early in the program, so I hope things improve over time, and I'm open to updating my review if my experience changes.
