In the past, we have had generally good experiences here. We ordered delivery tonight, and the order was accurate and delivered in a timely manner. However, I paid $3.49 extra for onion rings, and only got 4 of them. My husband's "cheesy garlic bread" was mushy and also not worth the upcharge. I ordered a large pepperoni and felt like I'd been transported to an Italian villa--if that villa was also somehow in the middle of Times Square. The crust is the perfect balance of chewy and crispy, like it went to culinary school but still knows how to party. The sauce is so flavorful it could probably run for mayor. And the cheese? Don't even get me started--it's like a warm hug for your taste buds. Bonus points for the delivery guy who arrived in 30 minutes or less, despite the traffic that looked like a game of bumper cars. I half expected him to emerge from the pizza box, ready to tell me about his adventures. In short, Manhattan Pizza is the only reason I'll ever consider leaving my couch again. There are lots of options for pizza in Purcellville, but this has become my go-to as of late. We did curbside pickup because it was going to be ready within 30 minutes of ordering vs an hour for delivery. There really isn't any dedicated curbside area to pick up, but they do find you and bring out your order. The person who answered the phone was extremely nice, brought out our pizza which was piping hot, along with an order of meatballs and wings. This pizza place had a REALLY nice side salad that comes as a side option with their sandwiches and subs. Usually pizza place salads are anemic but this one was so nice: cucumbers, tomato, red pepper, red onion, assorted spring lettuces. Very nice bread for the subs. This was the first time we went to Manhattan after moving to Purcellville recently. The cheesesteak was weak. Take a look for yourself in the photo. There was barely any meat, and the lettuce was brown, with one tiny tomato. The fries were ok but there wasn't many of them. We had friends over and wanted to try this place out. My husband and I love Manhattan Pizza in Purcellville. Their pizza and wings are our favorite on the menu. We've always done delivery, but today we did pickup. After we paid for our order, a man who worked there (we think he was the owner or manager) started insisting we try the frozen yogurt. He gave us a handful of samples and then said, "Which ones do you like? I'm going to give you some to-go." He was so friendly and happy. My husband and I each picked a flavor and he scooped two generous portions and gave them to us for free with a huge smile on his face. He absolutely made our day. Manhattan pizza has always been our go-to pizza place but now it's more than that. It's a business that cares about their customers. To us, that's worth more even more than delicious pizza. Food is descent but overpriced. I saw someone talk about lack of management presence. This is in many restaurants in Purcellville. I don't know why, but if I had to guess it's because they either don't care to do their job or hire a manager with little to none experience. I do not remember the last time I left a review for a restaurant, but I could not help myself, but leave one this time. I've been here multiple times before and no problem whatsoever but tonight the food was horrendous. I would not feed this to my poor dogs, I took a bite and the ingredients were stale way beyond expiration. I'm actually disappointed, and will never step foot in this restaurant for the rest of my life. I had the supreme pizza, the barbecue chicken sandwich, chicken tenders and the inedible jalapeño poppers. My family and I were completely disgusted. None of it was edible. read more

I'll rate my dinner a 5. Here are the problems that could be resolved. We were one of three groups that selected to dine in. Our order was behind many to go orders. I got my dinner but my husbands dinner after a reasonable amount of time, didn't arrive until I was finished. We also ordered garlic knots that arrived as we were getting ready to leave. Many teenagers working there which is great but appears to be no authority figure or seasoned manager to run it. Missed orders, wrong orders, long wait time. Example, busy Friday night, I call in my order, 30 min later I show up and they had the order wrong. I was told they are really busy and it would take 30 minutes for them to make a new pizza. So in summary, they screwed up and I get bump to the back of the line???? WTF? I'll try again in 6 months and how they improve. UPDATE:,don't bother getting the boneless hot wings. New site in Purcellville and the staff has been great. They are figuring out how to work all of the buttons but the food, atmosphere and customer service was excellent. I ordered pizza from this location and some cannolis the day before Thanksgiving. I know what to expect from Manhattan Pizza after ordering from their Ashburn location for over 10 years. With that, the pizza could have been warmer, but was still very tasty. The service I got during this order was great; They ran out of cannoli cream and called to not only tell me about the issue but also to offer a replacement of two cheesecakes. One cheesecake costs the same as 2 cannolis, so we got a good deal. I asked for a manager and not only did she give me excuses about being busy and understaffed, but refused to compensate us other than an offer to pick up our food or a 10% coupon. Being in the restaurant business myself, I found this to be beyond unacceptable. A pizza place can offer better than excuses and a 10% coupon given the competition around town. We ordered from Manhattan Pizza in Purcellville for the first and last time tonight. We ordered on the website which was not user friendly. We called 30 min after ordering to check on the order after receiving no indication of when the order would be ready and were told it will be ready in 10 minutes. We arrived for pickup in 10 minutes and were told it would be 5 more minutes after we paid. We left with a barely warm pizza(that my wife saw sitting on the counter the entire time the pizza rolls were being heated) and pizza rolls 30 minutes or so later. My wife was handed another person's order and then watched as an employee then tried to give that order to another wrong person. The food was not worth a 70 minute wait or at least I would have hoped it to be fresh. Avoid. read more
