Yum!!
Katie A.

Came here on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Great service - very knowledgeable about wines. Got two different pizzas... One red and one white. Both were great! We probably could have split one, but I'm glad we got to sample two different styles. Their wine prices were pretty good, as was the wine quality.

I tried their pizza today and I was blown away. You can tell they care about their craft. The ingredients used tasted top notch. Bravo !! This has become my new pizza place in the area! I especially loved the fact that you could also buy a bottle of wine at retail prices--not marked up restaurant prices. The interior was very chic and minimalist. Service was great! I loved everything about this spot. Will definitely be returning.

Custom pizzas Top: crispy speck, mushrooms, arugula Bottom: pepperoni, mushrooms, anchovies

I've visited twice now and love their style of pizza. It's a bit pricy but you can tell the difference with the quality and quantity of toppings on the pizzas. I don't totally understand the $10 corkage fee for bottles you buy there (had we brought our own, sure). The staff were all super friendly and helpful. They took time to explain the menu and wines.

Stopped by for a quick bite and really enjoyed this place. Seat yourself / order at the counter place with excellent pizza and very good wine. Service was 5 star, food came out fast and tasted great. Clean place filled with locals. I had the iommi and my wife had the beck. Loved both, but I liked the beck better. Who doesn't love arugula on pizza! If you are in the area I highly recommend.

Great pizza and awesome wine selection. Very smart of them to break it down between $20 and $45 bottles, so there's less fussing about. We loved the variety of pizza, but all of them have a fantastic crust. The folks who work here and at the Middleburg location are all very kind and helpful. They all seem to know the wines they sell, which is key. Can't wait to come back.

Sorry it's half eaten! Great Caesar Salad

Neat little place, with a great wine selection. Came in for lunch with the better half on a weekday. You order at the counter and they bring your food. The Caesar Salad was really the star of the show. One of the best I've ever eaten, honestly. We then split a pizza and it was the perfect amount of food. We liked the pizza but thought that the crust in the middle was a bit soggy. Flavors were very good and the outer portion of the crust was nicely thin and perfectly chewy. This is also a great place to get a great glass of wine, which we did and weren't disappointed! They also sell wine by the bottle to take home, neatly lined on shelves, priced either $20 or $40 dollars. Both the bottles purchased ($20 range) were good for our taste. Go give this new spot a try.

The CUTEST place with great pizza and wine. You can't go wrong with any of the pizza choices off the menu and if you'd like a wine to pair with it, they know exactly how to help you pair the wine of your liking. My first time here and I'm absolutely loving it. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful. They're more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the menu. The vibes are adorable and cozy- perfect for a date night. I definitely will be back!

I am a pizza snob and so awarding a 5 is not taken lightly; however, Knead really deserves it. They serve only "individual" size pizzas and they are about $20 each, but they could actually be split between two. The dough and ingredients are top-notch. With a variety of recommended pizzas and the ability to build your own, you cannot go wrong. It is located in a food strip mall section of Purcellville but they spruced it up with upscale table service and decorations, which makes it nice. The service is good. But perhaps the best part, as the name suggests, is the wine. They have carefully curated wines by the bottle and glass selected by a world renown sommelier.

Stopped by in Purcellville on our way to check out a new winery in Loudoun. Just as good as the Middleburg location. Friendly, prompt service and a solid wine collection. Pizza is great. Will be back.

Warm olives and toast with a beautiful forget me not wine.

For the buffet, I tried the New York Strip, the Fried Chicken, Gulf Shrimp & Grits, Belgian Waffles and the Local Sausage. I really enjoyed everything I tried. The Belgian Waffle was very good and the Fried Chicken had a really crispy skin and was tender. The Flavor of the Shrimp & Grits and the New York Strip were also very good. Overall the prices are high for the quality. 1) Hamburger and Fried green tomato appetizer were very good and delicious. Definitely suggest 2) French Onion soap was agreed to by everyone at the table as not very good ( almost sweet) and the worst they ever had. 3) The blacked shrimp were over cooked and tasted bad ( they were in my Cobb salad which was simply ok). Would definitely not get again 4) Crab had a great deal of filler. We will visit again, but will try other items. For the price, our expectations should be met much higher.

The greeter directed us to the tasting bar where an equally friendly staff member helped us. They told us about the vineyard, wines and food offereings. They also let us taste a couple of wines before ordering. Plenty of seating inside and out. Inside seating is a combination of high tops, low tables, comfy chairs and couches. All the wines were well balanced with a nice level of complexity. We brought 4 bottles home! This is a must visit in the Northern VA/Louden wine area. My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings)

I especially enjoyed the sparkling rosé and absolutely fell in love with What Will the Women Drink. The winery itself is wonderfully eclectic, offering relaxed, almost hippie-inspired seating alongside more sleek, modern spaces that feel perfect for private reservations or events. The menu has great options, including flatbreads and charcuterie, making it easy to linger and enjoy the experience. Bonus points for being kid-friendly (if you must!)--a nice perk when so many wineries are strictly 21+.

We are not from the area, and I have some definite food allergies (simple pizzas are typically…read moresafe...) and so each dining experience is completely unique and occasionally challenging... But...Oh my gosh! This was one of the best wood fired pizza's we've had in years! Excellent sauce, phenomenal buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and onions! Be still my heart! Husband added some feta! So good! And the Greek Salad was fresh, perfectly balanced with a tasty dressing! We we served by one of the owners, (my chemo-brain has already lost her name...) who was so kind, friendly and accommodating that we felt as if we were regulars. There are only three tables inside, with lots of dining outside... We ate inside, at the center table. We could watch the pizza making process from our table, which was very interesting and nice. They made the end of a Birthday getaway a success! If you're looking for a delicious pizza with a terrific salad and a wonderful team, this is without a doubt, the perfect place to eat while in the Lovettsville area. (Forgot to take a photo!)
