At 6:50pm I called back because my food still hadn't arrived and I was told (again by Stacy) that because it was raining hard and they didn't want the bag to get wet that the driver was "just leaving". WHAT?!?! Yes, it had rained - hard - for about 10/15mins TOPS. Last I checked, cars still drive in the rain. You run a business that offers delivery. I would have fully understood the delay and being short staffed if my food had actually gone out the door the first time I called. I called back a third time 20 mins later. Once again, Stacy answered and used the rain as the excuse even though the rain had ended an hour before. The food finally arrived 2 hours after I placed the order. Unfortunately, I pre-paid when I placed the order to include a tip for the driver. I was never offered a refund or a discount. Here's the thing - just be honest. The food isn't cheap and it took so long to arrive that I ended up sticking it in the fridge. I didn't intend on paying that much money to have "leftovers". Lesson learned. I would NOT recommend.
