Nice and clean, staff was making sure everything was right. I even notice a manager out assisting new employees and employees asking for guidance on certain orders. The orders were flying in via app and online plus walk-ins. They were handling it very well. I even was called for substitution item since my item requested ran out 15 minutes prior to my arrival; super cool. Pizza has always been excellent. The 1 star is for service. It's 8:50. They close at 9:00. I just flew back home, tried to call in an order but couldn't so I raced to get here before closing. Finally, a great pizza place near me!! I moved from NOVA a few months ago, where the best pizza I could find was at Whole Foods. I've tried many places around here and every place has tasteless pizza. The only place that delivers to me is Papa John's and I got horribly sick the last time I ordered from them. Blaze pizza tastes fresh, isn't greasy and the crust is the perfect thickness (i.e thin and crispy without being cracker-like). And MAJOR bonus points for VEGAN cheese and VEGAN chorizo. If they could get some VEGAN pepperoni, that would be even more amazing! I'm considering going back today to get another pizza! read more

Good pizza. Clean, Fresh Dough. Crust is a bit chewy and feels bit rushed instead of relaxed. Ovens bake in the 550' range, Quality appers to be the target here and much like ordering from a Subway. You can pre-pick a 2 toppping pizza or build your own going down an assembly line of choices. Crust isn't exactly crunchy as mentioned earlier due to dough is pre-pressed in pizza shaper just prior to baking. All in all, this is a good product and place to go, I've seen nothing better at all in the nearby area. read more

This place was so busy when we got there, but we were able to get through the line and our pizza (to go) in a reasonable timeframe considering how busy they were. I have Celiac disease and need gluten free food and they were able to accommodate my needs even when they were super busy! They changed gloves, had one person follow me all the way through the line, used different utensils and kindly accommodated all of my requests. Great experience and not bad pizza, either. For me, the dough was a little soggy, but that's understandable since the GF pies need to be cooked on a mat and can't sit right on the oven, hence the four stars instead of 3. First, I found out this place uses doordash despite having their own site. I didn't noticed the first couple orders, but the most recent, I saw my text message for a Blaze order coming through doordash. I was wondering if they ever really indicated this was going to happen, so I set up a mostly complete order, and didn't see any indicate before hitting checkout that this was the case. If they do say so on the last page, I don't really care at this point. I had a terrible issue with doordash with another place twice, and I'm done with delivery orders with anywhere relying on doordash. But I won't even support this place in person anymore either after seeing how bad their website is. There are some confusing issues. First, why can't I search just by zip code for a local place? Why do I have to type in an entire address to even search local places? But even worse, why if I have a proper address identified, why is their site changing my zip code after the initial store search and selection? Please see my images attached. And on my last order, I didn't see this mistaken zip code until I finished the order. I had to call them to see if the order was fine. And the first issue, the number it gave me to call on the site was disconnected! I had to look up the local store number on Google, and then I was greeted by the final cherry on top of this highly unprofessional mess. A message stating a couple times they might be so busy that I might not get ahold of a person, which is concerning when I was thinking my order might instead be getting processed in god knows where WV rather than Charles Town. I just can't be bothered to support such a mess of a business even in person in the event it might contribute to them continuing to exist to possibly screw over other people. read more

I tried the Cauliflower Crust Vegetarian pizza and modified it a little as a BYO, by going with spicy red sauce and adding roasted garlic and a drizzle of olive oil and pesto sauce. It was SO SO good! Highly recommend. Am visiting the area and have driven past Blaze Pizza a number of times. Since snow was expected for the next day, I figured it would be a good idea to have leftovers on hand in case I'm stuck. SO glad I tried it. Have recommended to family living in the area.
