Love this place. The best is the Supreme. The combination of the ingredients make this the best I have had. Their tenders are also excellent. read more

I see some negative reviews here but I was pleased with my lunch experience. I tried the very basic $5 deal of two slices and a drink. I could probably eat another slice, but it was only $5, not complaining here. I saw someone with a nice looking salad and I will definitely come back and try more things. read more

Would not even give one star if given the choice. I placed an order for delivery through their website at 5:20 pm, by 6:40 my food had not arrived so I called the restaurant to check on the status of my order. The young lady who answered the phone was pleasant and apologetic and assured me that my food was on the way. After another 20 minutes I decided to check outside to see if it had been left without the driver ringing the bell. Lo and behold a cold and soggy bag had in fact been left on my steps. But imagine my surprise when I brought it inside (famished at this point) and discovered that it was not my order. I called the restaurant was placed on a long hold and then transferred to the manager. Rather than apologizing or even acknowledging fault she cut me off and told me they could remake my food and deliver it. I said "no I would like a refund at this point" she cut me off again and argued saying she just wanted to bring me the correct food instead. I again insisted that I could not wait another hour for my food to be delivered and politely requested a refund. At this point the manager huffed and puffed and said okay and hung up the phone before I could even finish talking. Mistakes happen, I worked in the industry for years, it's how you deal with them that matters. Rude, unprofessional, and totally unacceptable. Do better. TLDR can't comment on the food but won't be ordering from them again due to the completely unprofessional service! read more

Needed pizza to feed a crowd after Thanksgiving. Last year we went to nearby Mangia Bevi and paid quite a high price for bad, sparsely topped pizza. I thought I would try Manhattan pizza and was very glad I did. We purchased 3, 16" pizzas with toppings and one small, and I have never seen pizzas topped so well, they were totally covered and quite tasty. FYI, I am from NJ and nothing comes close to NJ/Ny pizza, but for Maryland, this was very good, fast, easy, best topping coverage ever, and is now my go to down here. Did I mention price? Paid way less per pizza than the other place and it was so much better! I thought there would be leftover, but it was all gone in minutes (9 people) read more

I am very picky when it comes to bread. I ordered garlic knots and that was one the best home made garlic knots I have ever eaten. I loved it . The fresh garlic and chopped parsley was the headline . read more

Yum yum yum!!! This pizza is absolutely delicious and I love how speedy and friendly the service Is! I have been here 2 or 3 times and my experience has always been positive. The pizza is made fresh and the choices are very healthy! I don't know why it has 3 stars they deserve 5 stars in my opinion. The pizza has very stretchy cheese and always has a melt in your mouth feeling. read more

Truffle mushroom pizza had very few mushrooms, was a bit dry, good flavor. Greek salad soso, not enough kalamata olives or cucumbers. Fried pickles very good. read more

Ugh, when are you guys going to get it right? Ordered a classic calzone. You forget the ricotta. Other half ordered the steak and cheese. No flavor whatsoever. The steak tastes like it is cooked in water. Ordered the onion rings and jalapeño poppers. Onion rings were oily and limp. The poppers were barely warm. Do better!!! read more

This restaurant is stellar in every way! I've been buying delicious food for my family for years here. The food is always fresh, carefully assembled and packaged for delivery without fail! Whenever I call and talk to Sumi and she takes my order, it is particularly perfect. She is super polite, cheerful, helpful, and accurate. She will tell you upfront how long the deliveries are running. You don't get this kind of service at many places today! I am so impressed by Sumi and the others who deliver and work at Manhattan in Urbana. The manager has a keen eye and understanding of what outstanding employees to hire and how to train them. read more

The pizza is good, the calzone/Stromboli is also good. A little pricy vs other pizza places but worth it for the calzones. They also do good with customer Service. read more

They are very slow, Went in on a normal Thursday, placed my order online and when I arrived my order wasn't ready for another 25 mins.

Pizza was ice cold. If you order the family meal deal it only comes with a single salad not enough for a family at all.

Service was good but the gyro was awful. Sorry but the meat was no better than processed hot dog meat made to look like gyro meat.

I ordered the chicken gyro dinner online and in the notes added that I wanted the fries on the side, they usually serve the gyro on top of the fries. The delivery guy got here 20 minutes earlier than the estimated delivery time, wore a mask, and kept his distance by placing the food in front of my door, ringing the doorbell, and walking away. They placed the fries in a seperate containers and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I didn't even need to eat with the sauce on top. read more

The pizzas we ordered were good, but...a bit pricey for what we got. Not sure we'd try it again.

We had their pizza, wings, and kids chicken fingers with French fries. Everything was delicious and customer service was great! Will definitely be going back. read more

Update: They now have falafel. I have grown to love the pizza. Get a large, the texture gets more NYC-style the larger it gets.

Had the Stromboli this time. Was as big as a Football and very delicious. Always love the fountain drink machine they have also.

Okay, so I just want to say that the staff was super friendly and I liked my sub and fries, overall. It was very convenient to be able to place my order online and pick it up at an exact time. I also loved whatever the pepper mixture was on my sub. Definitely added an extra level of flavor to my Italian and I'd honestly eat that just dumped on those fries... My one and only complaint is the quality of their deli meat. It's like lunchable deli meat and I really feel like it impacts the sub's quality in a big way. If they went with fresher deli meat, their subs would be amazing. Still, not a bad sub for a quick workday lunch but it would be drive-25-minute-from-my-house worthy if better deli meat was involved. read more

My family and I love Manhattans Pizza. The feed is always freshly prepared. We can't enough of their burgers. Truly delicious and the desserts are definitely a 5 for sure. read more

Don't count on them to be even in the ballpark of the time they quote you. We made the mistake of ordering pizza at 5pm on Halloween and let's just say trick or treating was in full swing by the time I got out of there. Lost order. Delayed Halloween. Disaster. Never again... read more

I need to add that all subsequent interactions with staff have been wonderful. The pizza is still good. It doesn't seem as greasy, lately, though. Most people probably prefer it that way :) Owners are really big on community involvement, which I love. read more

Fair to decent food. Shockingly bad service! I ordered carry out this evening (email receipt time stamped 6:08pm). I received two emails from Manhattan Pizza confirming my order but neither specified a time my food would be ready. I arrived at the restaurant about 20 minutes after my order was placed then proceeded to wait nearly 45 MINUTES to get all my food (each item I ordered came out at a different time). During this extended wait I witnessed the employees "working" the front counter standing around eating food, drinking soda and socializing with friends while ignoring the several empty / dirty tables through out the restaurant. The employees also were turning customers away telling them they couldn't take any new orders because they were too far behind...AT 7PM ON A FRIDAY NIGHT! read more

Fair pizza. The toppings are fine; good enough mozzarella, tangy sauce. Unfortunately the dough seems to be the same frozen dough every other pizza chain must use. Disappointing. Il Forno Xpress dough is far superior, if you're looking for delivery in the Urbana area. On the bright side, the salads are nice and fresh, with generous portions. I will be back for a salad. The sandwiches are also good. I tried the Reuben. You may wish to ask for extra dressing and kraut if you prefer them messy as I do. I haven't tried the gelato. Will update when I've tried it. read more

Love eating at this establishment! Instead of the usual pizza, I ordered something different. I ordered a chicken gyro and Philly cheesesteak. The chicken gyro was delicious and the fries had this nice crunch. The food was warm when delivered. Definitely can't go wrong with Manhattan Pizza on a Friday night. read more

For some strange reason, I tried this place yet again, hoping for a good experience. Yet again, they proved they cannot provide a pizza with a reasonable amount of sauce- even when requested and told I would pay for extra. Could barely see anything remotely sauce like when I pulled up the cheese. Absolutely done with this place. Ledos bound from now on. read more

Glad to see the store open and available for in dining service. Staff was friendly and attentive. They had a great lunch special of 2 slices of pizza and a drink for about 6 bucks. I added a fresh side salad. Look at the size of this slice of pizza! 5 stars to this local treat! read more

This is generally our go to pizza delivery spot. It's good pizza, at a reasonable price. I'm GF so finding a pizza place that 1) delivers to our house and 2) has GF pizza is hard to find. There's another place that delivers, but it is way more expensive. I can order online and have the pizza DELIVERED 20 minutes later. The delivery guys are always so nice. I'm not sure why the bad reviews. Is it the best? No. Is it the worst? Definitely not. But the price+ speed + GF pizza makes it 4 stars in my book. I haven't tried anything other than pizza yet, but The Hawaiian and the BBQ pizza are both very good. read more

My First time in a Manhattan's pizza restaurant. I was Not Impressed. My cashier barely gave an audible greeting. She then proceeded to take her hand and rub it all around the top of my cup with her fingers and inside the cut also. I asked for new cups and asked her not to do that again. I guess, I fustrated her because the next thing you know she didn't even give me a beeper for when my food was ready. I spoke with the manager who did absolutely nothing about the situation. The mozzarella sticks for excellent and the pizza was just okay. I'll give it one star and tell everyone to keep Truckin read more

We visited your Urbana location for the first time last night. We were very excited to have a new restaurant open in Urbana, and heard good things about your food. I would like to offer some suggestions to improve your service, and keep loyal customers. First, the staff appeared to be mostly young teenagers and no one appeared to be in charge. Several of them stood around behind the counter while the tables and floors were covered in food and trash. The drink area was dirty and sticky, and the bathroom was disgusting. There was urine all over the seat and floor, and the trash can was overflowing. I took my two daughters to the restroom and immediately walked back out. Additionally, the restaurant was extremely bright and loud- not a very inviting atmosphere. Regarding the food, I would say it was "ok". The gyro salad was good, but the tzaiki dressing had a strange consistency and did not seem fresh. I also found it very strange that there was no Splenda or sweet-n-low available- only sugar. I truly have never encountered a restaurant that served iced tea but no sugar-substitutes. As a local family who frequently dines out, at this point there is a very small chance we will be back to Manhattan Pizza. I suggest you address the cleanliness issue quickly, or you will quickly lose more customers. This visit took place on Saturday evening, January 20th, at approximately 7:30pm Thank you. read more

Ordered pick up , food was cold cheese was kind of fake tasting, to many teenagers working and hanging out. Lots of trash and dirty tables. Definitely needs more management. Also got a delivery that took 1 hr 15 min to get in the afternoon and I'm only 3 min away not like it was busy time read more
