We arrived in town after a long drive, during a heavy rain and were looking for somewhere to get a good meal. Mango Marleys was rated well and was conveniently located a short distance from where we were staying. When we arrived at the restaurant, the parking lot was almost completely full, and there were several groups waiting outside for tables. Despite this, the staff was able to get our family of four a table immediately and were extremely courteous and attentive throughout our meal. Our waitress was very cordial and took the time to not only answer our questions about menu items but were also patient in telling us about the restoration of the town after the hurricane. The food quality was incredible, I had the bacon wrapped shrimp and the flavor of the sauce, shrimp, and bacon all complimented each other for a delicious entree, the red beans and rice was also delicious. My wife and daughter both had hamburgers, and each patty was a half pound of quality, well cooked, and seasoned ground beef. Their French fries and sweet potato fries were also delicious. My son had the fried fish (cod) basket. He was very pleased with it and the side order of fries. The sweet tea tasted freshly brewed and not at all like it came from a jug or can pre-made. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying in town or passing through. Although the entrees can seem a little expensive, the food quality, overall atmosphere, Bacon Wrapped Shrimpand customer service make it worth it. read more

We went to Mango Marleys for lunch and we're seated right away. Our waiter got our drink and food order right way. Then we waited and waited. I noticed our food sitting in the widow ready to be delivered. It sat and sat and sat. Now if the restaurant would been busy, I would Have understood. That was not the case. After about 10 minutes another employee started to get our food ready to be delivered, adding extra sauce and such. When my husbands food was delivered it was cold. He let the waitress know. She took The plate without a word to us and returned it to the window and let the kitchen staff know. They made another plate which our waiter delivered. NO ONE APOLOGIZED or even acknowledged that there was an issue. An apology would have gone along way. The side note is that the food was great read more

Don't pass by. We have been here twice and were very pleased with the food and the service, one of the few places that have the servers wearing masks (a rare thing down here during the Covid pandemic) We enjoyed the Floribbean Fowl , Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and the Kahuna Burger over a couple of nights, all the flavors were as advertised. The attention to detail is appreciated, such as the large amount of parmesan cheese added to the side salad when you order the Caesar dressing. They also make their own desserts, the Key Lime Pie was yummy. We're looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer. read more

On a sisters trip and we were excited to go to Mango Marley's one night . First they are closed on Tuesdays so no plans to eat there that day . I have been before and wanted to treat my sister. We ordered Mango Marleys House Special Maui Maui with yellow rice and black beans with a lovely mango sauce . It was so bland the rice was hard and black beans tasted of a can . I was highly disappointed in our visit to Mango Marley's. on the plus side...the red beans and rice was great as were the fried plantains. On the negative side....the bacon fried shrimp was over cooked, and the pulled pork was dry. A on the sides, F on the entree. We came in mid afternoon for an afternoon snack and a beer. The happy hour price got us hooked. We were told the margaritas were $2.00 each and fried pickles were half off. So we ordered a lot of food and drinks. We thought we ordered 6 margaritas at $2 each, 2 beers, a daiquiri, 15 medium wings, 15 naked wings with 3 sauces on the side, some sides, a jerk chicken salad, 2 orders of fried pickles at half off, a naked hot dog and a grilled entree. What we got was 5 margaritas at $4 each, 2 beers, a daiquiri, 15 hot wings, 15 wings in garlic parmesan sauce and some side sauces that is no longer for naked wings, some sides, jerk chicken salad, 2 orders of fried pickles at regular price, 2 naked hot dogs for $12 and a grilled entree. We were tipsy so just paid the bill until we realized later we were ripped off. The orders were a mess but the drinks and food were good. The place was pretty cool too so we're not that mad at y'all. We came in on a Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 after some fantastic souvenir shopping. We were starved. The four of us were seated immediately - drinks ordered and delivered so fast. The service stayed like this - utterly impeccable. Two had fried chicken finger baskets with sweet potato fries and regular fries. The chicken breasts were hand cut and battered, and very juicy and flavorful. Sweet potato fries were skinny and crunchy and delicious. Another had the fried shrimp basket with Caesar salad and fries. Shrimp were butterflied and were fat and juicy and full of flavor. The Parmesan crusted redfish was firm, tasty and moist - perfectly cooked. Portions were generous - we took home half of each meal. The vibe is very friendly, the food is great. Good food. I was driving by while looking at lots in FL. The food was prepared well and served hot (makes this 5 star). I had the kahuna burger with black beans as a side. Food was okay. Service was not great. We had to ask who our server was to get any service.

We started off with the loaded chips. For 8$ you would think you would get enough to split with someone, but it seemed like they took a bag of Lays, fried them, put a dollop of sour cream on it, a single shred of cheese and a half a bacon strip and laid it on top. The Philly Burger was pretty good, the price was about the same price as other sit down Burger places. The a Floribian Fowl Burger was not that great. It was edible but barely, not a whole lot of flavor and was a second choice to the pulled pork. Which for some reason at 7pm on Friday they had none made. After waiting 30 minutes for a table, we came in to sit down and they wanted to move our table to another since we had children. We complied, waited for them to clean the table and sat down. After waiting 30 minutes we asked who our server was which no one wanted to claim the table. Even though we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Someone finally comes and takes our order. We continue to watch other tables order and get their food. We waited over an hour for our food. Mind you we had a smaller party of 6 compared to the groups of 10+. They continued to confused tables orders and made the wait long. Waited so long they eventually closed. The food wasn't even anything special. The portions are small and over priced and doesn't taste great. Total of 2 hour wait for service and food. This place is awful. I don't recommend coming here and we will never be back. Take the drive into Panama to eat anywhere decent. read more

We waited for over an hour and a half for two burgers and two salads had to find our waitress to see what was going on with our order and then at the end we realized that our burgers had been sitting in the window for over 15 minutes waiting on the salads to be done at the same time. Absolutely terrible service. My family (parents, sister and I) are traveling because my dad is terminally ill and has a year left to live. My dad used to visit Mexico Beach often when he did testing on the base nearby and wanted to see it again. We chose Mango Marley's for lunch because it seemed handicap accessible, which we need because my dad has a walker due to his disease. When we entered the restaurant, the host seemed annoyed that we were there. He had us go stand on the side, near the locked up merchandise (which was concerning, are cheap t-shirts really that valuable??). We stood and stood as the host catered to tables full of spring breakers. Other employees saw us standing there and other patrons gave us the look of "run". My poor dad was having trouble standing there, waiting for a table for so long, despite the fact that at least half of the tables were empty and most of them were cleared off as well. Still, the host helped the tables of teenagers, who were legitimately fanning themselves with $100 bills, instead of seating the terminally ill, disabled man who was clearly uncomfortable. It's apparent that the host cared more about getting big tips from the pretty, young girls waving $100 bills since that's what he was doing, not serving them food or something that was on a time crunch. We left and the host didn't even apologize or anything. read more

Got seated right away. 2 waitresses came by to say they'd be back to take drink order. 15 min pass and our drink order along with food order was taken. Ordered appetizer along with entrees. Drinks took forever to get. Food arrived after 1 hr and 18 minutes. You guessed it, food was cold. Appetizer was never brought out, side salads never brought out. One kids meal still not brought out.When kids Hamburger meal came, burger too red on inside to eat as kid freaked out seeing red. Fried plantains were burnt and cold. Shrimp way over cooked to the point you can't even chew it, like rubber. Horrible place, tourist trap for sure! They count on the one and done customers for sure. Because no one would be a regular at this establishment with the food they serve. Instead of frying another piece and making it right, he pieced together whatever he could Salvage and sent it out. Our waitress offered to fry another piece for me which we declined. This should have been done to begin with. Not have a 24.99 meal brought out like this in hopes that the customer will accept it. The wings my husband ordered were delivered to another table. Sat down in front of customer as the waitress continued to give other dishes out to other table. Another waitress came over and took the wings away from that customer and returned them to window where food is ready to be picked up. Our waitress goes and picked up those wings and proceeded to bring to our table. I'm sorry but with covid going on, once you serve a dish it needs to stay where you served it. 140.00 for 4 people to eat here with each having one drink is outrageous for the type of food being served. When in Mexico Beach, it's only appropriate to go on a Tour de Mahi. I ate mahi tacos everywhere we went. Mango Marley's is, by far, the best. They're fairly simple but the mango salsa they put on top is so good and really sets them off! They have approximately a million wing sauce flavors and the wings are fantastic. When you're in Mexico Beach you have very few good options. It's almost weird. But the reviews are all subpar, which also isn't encouraging. BUT MANGO MARLEYS reviews don't do them justice. Located on the main strip, a 1 min drive from the ocean front hotel, Marleys is a beach side restaurant with a pretty beach themed menu. Lots of options.. even for non seafood eaters like me ;) I went with the wings. And when you order the wings, you get to order from 25 sauce options. I LOVE SAUCES. I can't remember what I got, but the wings were great ! The sweet potato fries were delicious too. The service was on point and the ambiance was very exciting. This restaurant is geared toward families, couples and anyone who wants a great affordable dinner. I will be going back the next time I'm in Mexico Beach that's for sure ! read more

Stopped over at Mango Marleys for lunch on a drive through. The drinks hit the spot right off the bat. Definitely recommend the Gulf Coast Breeze. We got 2 burgers, which were cooked great and tasted even better. If you want a sweeter side, opt for the plantains. So very delicious, and a perfect end to the Kahuna Burger. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying around Mexico Beach, or just driving through. read more
