My friends and I tried the mango sago lychee cup and mango pancakes and both of these were golden!! Had a ten to cheat on my diet today and the reviews for this place were great so I decided to try it. The menu is larger than I thought it would be. I went with the mango pancake, which is recommended and is so for a good reason! The service was prompt and the food was really good. Cold mango topped with a very thick whipped cream all packaged in a yellow pancake. The taste was fresh, cool and creamy all in one. Came on a Friday night at 9pm and the place was packed! There were no table available so my party decided to order to-go. I like that we can use the tablet to place our orders. I got their A3 - Strawberry, mango juice, mango sago, lychee jelly and mango ice cream to go. My favorite component of the dish is definitely the ice cream - it had a creamy, smooth texture and tastes delicious. We ordered the mango juice sago with ice cream, mango juice rice ball with ice cream, mango millie crepe cake and a mixed fruit tea. The tea was good, loved the zest of the fruits and the tea. They didn't a good job of not shoving a lot of fruit in the cup, there was a decent amount of drink. Loved the taste of mango juice, sago and ice cream. Right mixture of sweetness and milkiness. But sadly I didn't like the mille crepe cake at all. The crepe layers were not as fluffy and light as I am used to. Staff are really nice and helpful. Mangos are life. I can't believe they finally built this in Jersey City! Now, I don't have to trek all the way to Manhattan or worse, Edison to get my fix of diabetes. My favorite dish here is the mango crepe cake which also has mango chunks on the side. It's so much better than Lady M, which the M probably doesn't stand for mango. They have a lot of other dishes with mango ice cream as well. Usually the waffle is a pretty solid option. I like the desserts here because they are not too sweet. My favorites are the pink peach oolong mochi and coconut and pineapple pandan cake. The mochi is extremely soft and fresh, that it almost does not hold its shape. When consuming, you have to be gentle handling it. The cream and cake inside are delicious. What can I say about the pandan cake other than I just like pandan? I haven't seen many bakeries use pandan, so it's a must-buy for me here. The chocolate matcha honey cake is pretty good, although the cake part is slightly stiff; the flavor is good if you like both match and chocolate. 1 star off: The only thing I do not like here is the durian mille crepe cake. I know the durian fruit is super stinky, but the best bakeries are able to extract the sweetness of durian and minimize the stinky odor when making it into a dessert. We ended up getting the cheesecake which was fresh and fruity. It was not too sweet but a little on the smaller size of a slice. I also got the mango pancake. This was also pretty good. It's a slice of mango with a cool whip like top surrounded by a thin fondant like cover. It comes with 2 pieces so a decent portion size. The last thing I ordered was a mango and strawberry smoothy. It's literally fresh mangos and strawberries in a slight ice and juice puree. I dont think there is any added sugars so it's not too sweet. Happy to report the sago is all soft and chewy and no icy bits (which is always my sago pet peeve). + S11 Crème Brûlée Mille Crepe ($9.50/slice) - Tastes exactly as I hoped--a marriage between a Lady M mille crepe + crème brûlée. + D5 Snow White Strawberry Smoothie-O ($6.95) - This just might be my new favorite! Onto The Mango passionfruit Mousse cake (mango looking one), personally maybe it was because we were so full of the other desserts we had but it was not a favorite. The flavor profile was sooo interesting to put it best, not bad but doesnt taste like mango or passionfruit. The texture was jello-like which i wasn't a fan of but i loved the presentation and the coating of it is white chocolate i believe which added something. Not a personal fav as its flavor was so confusing and not that good to me but i'd still give it a try.
