Stopped by this weekend and noticed the whole shop had been transformed for the Milk Mocha Bear collaboration. The decorations are adorable, and they also have cute merchandise and wearable cup sleeves. The new mango drinks were refreshing and not overly sweet. I especially liked the one with fresh mango, coconut, chia seeds, and rice noodles. The combination worked surprisingly well. The other mango coconut drink with popping boba was also delicious. Had a ten to cheat on my diet today and the reviews for this place were great so I decided to try it. The menu is larger than I thought it would be. I went with the mango pancake, which is recommended and is so for a good reason! The service was prompt and the food was really good. Cold mango topped with a very thick whipped cream all packaged in a yellow pancake. The taste was fresh, cool and creamy all in one. The store looks decent, but not impressive. Restroom is certainly not maintained properly. I saw a hand trolley parked in there. We ordered the mango juice sago with ice cream, mango juice rice ball with ice cream, mango millie crepe cake and a mixed fruit tea. The tea was good, loved the zest of the fruits and the tea. They didn't a good job of not shoving a lot of fruit in the cup, there was a decent amount of drink. Loved the taste of mango juice, sago and ice cream. Right mixture of sweetness and milkiness. Came on a Friday night at 9pm and the place was packed! There were no table available so my party decided to order to-go. I like that we can use the tablet to place our orders. I got their A3 - Strawberry, mango juice, mango sago, lychee jelly and mango ice cream to go. My favorite component of the dish is definitely the ice cream - it had a creamy, smooth texture and tastes delicious. I do wish the mango pieces were totally thawed though - I had a few frozen pieces. Also wished the portion size is a bit bigger! Despite that, I still enjoyed this refreshing dessert. Mangos are life. I can't believe they finally built this in Jersey City! Now, I don't have to trek all the way to Manhattan or worse, Edison to get my fix of diabetes. My favorite dish here is the mango crepe cake which also has mango chunks on the side. It's so much better than Lady M, which the M probably doesn't stand for mango. I like the desserts here because they are not too sweet. My favorites are the pink peach oolong mochi and coconut and pineapple pandan cake. The mochi is extremely soft and fresh, that it almost does not hold its shape. When consuming, you have to be gentle handling it. The cream and cake inside are delicious. What can I say about the pandan cake other than I just like pandan? I haven't seen many bakeries use pandan, so it's a must-buy for me here. The chocolate matcha honey cake is pretty good, although the cake part is slightly stiff; the flavor is good if you like both match and chocolate. 1 star off: The only thing I do not like here is the durian mille crepe cake. I know the durian fruit is super stinky, but the best bakeries are able to extract the sweetness of durian and minimize the stinky odor when making it into a dessert. It's a slice of mango with a cool whip like top surrounded by a thin fondant like cover. It comes with 2 pieces so a decent portion size. The last thing I ordered was a mango and strawberry smoothy. So far I've tried: + A1 Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo ($9.25) - I get it with no ice cream and it's a classic Hong Kong-style mango sago dessert soup. + D10 Special Mango Juice Smoothie-O ($7.25) - This is the above dessert in drink form. Happy to report the sago is all soft and chewy and no icy bits (which is always my sago pet peeve). + S11 Crème Brûlée Mille Crepe ($9.50/slice) - Tastes exactly as I hoped--a marriage between a Lady M mille crepe + crème brûlée. + D5 Snow White Strawberry Smoothie-O ($6.95) - This just might be my new favorite! It tastes like a strawberry milkshake but more refreshing and made with real fruit. + D6 Cantaloupe Smoothie-O ($6.95) - I was super intrigued by this since it's not a common smoothie offering but it's made with real cantaloupe and perfectly refreshing and not too sweet. The Crepe was BEYOND! it was my personal fav, i got it with strawberry mango and nutella with matcha green tea ice cream and it was sooo goood!! it has whipped cream inside that tastes so fluffy and soft, it tastes homemade so that was definitely a plus as it is super different and adds something unique. Onto The Mango passionfruit Mousse cake (mango looking one), personally maybe it was because we were so full of the other desserts we had but it was not a favorite.
