Nice people. That is where anything I have good to say about Mango Automotive stops. Their prices are OUT OF HAND. We took our vehicle there after an accident. We needed them to look at and diagnose a very specific issue. We had to tell them three times what specifically we were looking to have them do. In the meantime, they wrote up a estimate for all kinds of work that we weren't even interested in looking at. First, their diagnostic fee is expensive and if you would like to do the work there, they will still charge you the diagnostic fee plus any work. They don't roll the diagnostics into the work that they're going to do The estimate to replace our heater hoses came out to $855! We purchased the parts for $22 and did it ourselves. It took 10 minutes. $855 for a $22 part and 10 minutes worth of work is insane I will never take another vehicle back to mango automotive, which is sad because I had taken all of my vehicles there before they changed their management read more

Originally left a great review on google. An unfortunate and disappointing update with a service done at Mango. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE FOR ALIGNMENTS! THEY HAVE SO MANY GOOD REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY OFFER A DISCOUNT AT THE TIME OF CHEKOUT IF YOU LEAVE A REVIEW. Had an alignment done a few months ago. Was happy when leaving but noticed my truck would steer to the left. Questioned the manager and mechanics and they said it is because of the "radial pull" of my BF Goodrich tires. I should have taken that as a warning to the quality of work they provide ESPECIALLY since they do not provide paperwork or stats on the alignment. My husband ended up taking it back and they gave him the same story. We gave them the benefit of the doubt but we should have advocated better. Ended up having to get new tires ($1700.00 later) because of severe cupping/damage from Mango's alignment. On top of the new tires I of course had to get a new alignment! Almost $2000 lost because of there gross negligence! Chett's ended up fixing this horrible job done by this company. To make things worse, my husbands Jeep that was also aligned here was so grossly off he could not go over 65mph on the highway without severe shaking. I wanted to take a moment and write a review on Mango Automotive off of Eagle Ranch in Albuquerque NM. From the beginning I noticed how customer oriented the staff at Mango Automotive were. From the moment I picked up the phone to when I dropped off my vehicle. The staff seemed thankful to just have me there. Lots of automotive shops usually have a bit of an attitude and in my experience, making you feel like they're doing you a favor. Not at Mango Automotive. The vehicle I brought in is a much older vehicle, and one they don't typically work on. Reason being, is my vehicle is unable to be hooked up to an On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) system. They were very polite in explaining to me that they don't normally work on vehicles without an (OBD) because they aren't set up that way, but because I had already brought it to them , they made an exception. After a few days of them having it, they called me and said my vehicle was ready to be picked up. They found several issues with the vehicle when reading the diagnostics report. When turning it over, the vehicle ran smooth, which it hadn't previously. I took the vehicle for a test run, but didn't feel it was up to snuff, so I quickly returned it to Frank Ward, the acting manager. I explained it wasn't accelerating properly. Frank asked me to leave it with him again, and that he would put his best guy on it. He apologized for the inconvenience. I really appreciate the professionalism this shop showed me and feel they do good and honest work. Thank you Frank and his team for getting my old truck up and running again! I brought my 2013 silverado in for a radiator that was leaking. It was 700.00. They also recommended power flash and a new thermostat. 550.00 more. It wasn't necessary, but they recommended it. Because I had miles on my truck. I chose Just to do the radiator. The truck runs great. They seem like nice people. read more

Horrible, do not get your car fixed here slow poor communication, shiesty billing. Absolute worst automotive experience, chargimg twice for disassembling the same system because you didnt diagnose it the 1st time is crazy to me especially when they kept it 5 days for a simple winshield wiper motor repair, they are incompetent, shady, or both. Mgr was very rude and refused to order parts without an approval so held the vehicle over weekend, despite guaranteeing payment. Definately felt a funny vibe Stay far away grom this shop, unless you like people to play games in your face. Buyer beware! $475 for a warrantied repair is crazy, They are crooks. read more

Brought my car in to get the breaks looked at. They told us it had major problems. It drove fine until this point. 5,000$ in repairs and two months later we have a much larger problem with the vehicle. I can't prove that this place is the reason my car that had no problems now has 12,000$ of repairs into it. But they were definitely part of the problem. read more

Their pricing is decent, better than Brown's. Wait time isn't bad either. Work quality is good. However, their diagnosis process isn't good. I paid $200 for an oil leak diagnosis, only to discover that they wouldn't be able to fix the issue. Now I'll need to take it to another mechanic, where it will need to be diagnosed again. Use mango for simple mechanic needs, but leave other issues to the experts. read more

Customer Service Area (Waiting Room) Couldn't be more welcoming and appealing, including free water, juice etc....But careful!! it's gonna' cost you in the long run if you opt for service. Although I was rather sure that I needed Air conditioning compressor. Had system checked anyway, after about two-hours waiting, was charged for the diagnosis, and a price of $1609. to replace the compressor, of which I had to decline. Again, I still believe there is much more need for fairness. read more

Was using the same location with previous owners, but Mango has proven to be worthy of this rating. Excellent service, quality and responsiveness. I've contacted them multiple times, and even the value of the services received is so much better than going to the dealer across the street. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon! Had my truck looked at when I started experiencing an issue. They were able to get me in the same day which was nice but concerning they weren't that busy. They charged me $188 to diagnose. They claimed my truck needed a service that I ended up doing myself for free because I could just drive the truck on a longer trip to solve the issue but they didn't offer this as a solution. They wanted $250 so solve it in the shop. On my report for my vehicle they also stated all my brake pads were at 3mm and that I needed all new brake pads and rotors for front and back. I had them measured at a more reliable shop and they said the backs measured at 8mm (which is still perfectly fine) and the front only needed replaced. I also witnessed them charge other people outrageous numbers for simple battery swaps while waiting for my vehicle in the shop. I wouldn't recommend this shop as they seem to only be in it for the money and their attitude towards you will change once you deny their service. read more

My vehicle was hesitating turning over. I called Mango and was told to bring it in. Within the hour they diagnosed it was the battery. My problem was fixed within a few hours. I could have chosen someone cheaper, but I depend on my car to be dependable, Mango assured me my car was good. I will return for future services. read more

Leaving a 3 star review for now since I don't have much experience with this company. My first time here was for a simple oil change not a biggie. They charged me for what I would typically pay at other places. What I can say about this place is unlike other places they didn't try an upsell me other products, no product pushing and no intimidation. Which is a nice change being female I feel like most places want to sell you whatever they think they can. It was a relaxed environment. Guy in the front simply took my info what I needed done and when it was time to pick up made a recommendation for next visit and that was it! I was even able to drop off my vehicle about an hour early to run errands no problem. I will be taking my vehicle back for my next oil change and possibly other repairs. So the star ratings could go up depending on future experiences. Overall I would say not bad at all! read more

I DO NOT recommend this shop. I took my car to them 3 weeks ago, for a SENSOR issue, they let my car sit on their lot without turning my vehicle off...which caused my battery to die which lead to the alternator going bad, they started working on it on 8/8/23 then call on 8/12/23 to say they replaced the battery and alternator, my battery and alternator are less then a year old and UNDER WARRANTY, , . But they replaced them anyway, then charged me $1026.00. Ok, fine. I paid them for the parts and labor on Parts that NEVER needed to be replaced. I drive off to 3 miles, and my check engine light turns on. I go back, and Chad looked at me like I'm stupid, and I had to ASK him what you would like me to do. Then he stays silent and I ask him when can you look at it, he says monday, 8/14/23 ok fine I take it back and now they tell me there's something wrong with the gas system. Ummm....no, there was nothing wrong, and I told him I have codes for the sensors. There's a short that's all I needed done. Now I have all these EXTRA problems I NEVER had before. I then tell him to put my old parts back on and. Give me a refund, and IF they are bad, I will use my warranty exchange. I go back for my car later that day and notice the car is still on, and of course, my battery is dead because they didn't turn the car off right. So a young employee comes out and say not this fucking car again....umm maybe if their employees were knowledgeable and professional maybe my car wouldn't be dead but the way they made me feel is as if I made a mistake instead of apologizing for the MISTAKES THEY made...
