If I could give them a minus -100, I WOULD. They attempted to rip me off for $5000. They are dishonest and deceptive. Told me I needed a new battery (not true as the battery was only 6 months old), told me I needed oil change and two new filters (not true as the oil and filters were changed last month). Worst of all that I needed new struts front and back - again not true. I then took the vehicle to a very reputable shop and in addition to the oil and battery being excellent, the struts were perfectly fine and not in need to any servicing or replacement. Brought my truck in for an oil change and I was promptly greeted by the store manager. I was in and out in less than two hours and it was a very busy Friday morning. I did have an appointment and wasn't completely happy for the wait but the staff was professional and continued to provide updates on the vehicle as I waited. After a coupon, it was under $90 for the oil change using synthetic blend as well as inspection. The bolts on my wheel started to become loose without me knowing it, must've been from commuting every day. I noticed they were closing up shop as I was returning home from work. Luckily I ran into one of the employees who works here as I took a chance to see if i can get this taken care of before work tomorrow. He offered to check my car to see what was causing the rumbling. Long story short, we figured out the cause of the rumbling and he even offered to drive my vehicle to see what I noticed and he tightened the bolts free of charge on a Wednesday after business hours! After some serious difficulty finding a service provider that was both willing and able to put tires on a class A motorhome, we stumbled across this store (literally as the Pep Boys across the street was of no help). They only had two of the needed six tires in stock and the store manager personally drove to the warehouse to pick up the needed 4 tires. Technician LJ was called in and completed the change in balance in record time. Jeff was also very personable and seemed to take a personal interest in our situation. Horrible communication with customers. Staff have poor attitude. Waste of my time! I had to call THEM multiple times to confirm the recommendations because they weren't calling me to inform me of anything. I was told that my car needed to be kept overnight. (I did not agree to this and originally dropped the car off midday and was told I'd have it same day) They were about to close so I had to agree to keep it overnight because I thought I'd give them a second chance. I called again the next day (midday) and was told that "I never called at all so they didn't start any work!" It was very disappointing to leave my vehicle with Firestone for over 24 hours only to be told that "they haven't started anything." Waste of my time. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I originally came in a year ago, and I ordered a set of premium tires. When I brought the car in, they ordered the wrong size of tires, and insisted it would be about a week to get the right size, so they sold me a lesser set that was a little cheaper. I also paid for the roadside hazard coverage. So I come in today as they open, and bring in one of the tires due to a flat. I was told they were a little backed up with cars from the day before, but that it should only be a couple hours and that if the tire is not repairable, it would be replaced and processed for warranty. After over 8 hours, they finally have the tire replaced and they are only willing to give a $26 discount on a $170 tire that is covered under warranty and the damage is due to a manufacturing defect because it was a split at where the sidewall meets the tread. read more

I took my car to Firestone because it was having starting problems. I had it diagnosed at another mechanic garage and they said they would charge me almost $600 to fix it. Firestone was the cheapest place in town I found. They only charged me about $400 to put in a new starter. They were really fast. I had my car back within a few hours after I dropped it off. After I got home I opened up the hood to do some work on my car and noticed some wires I had never seen hanging before hanging by the motor. I realized when they lifted the front of the motor to replace the starter they dident know how to unclip the wires and just broke the clips. Now the wires are hanging and touching the motor, which gets very hot. Overall, very friendly service. Always willing to answer any questions you have for them. read more

Never had an issue coming here. I always get friendly, honest customer service and a quick turnaround, even when I bring it in at busy times. I tend to have a lot of punctured tires in the areas I drive, and I can always count on getting them patched up quickly at Firestone. Regular auto care is good too, I've taken to getting the oil changed on all my vehicles here and have had a transmission and clutch replaced here as well with no problems. I took my vehicle here to have a oil leak issue looked at, no it's not a Chevy. After hearing the diagnosis I decided to have them take care of it. They said it would be ready the following day due to time restraints on receiving parts. However the following morning I was contacted and told it would be yet another day before it was ready due to an employee calling in absent to work. I understand these things happen but to not have a plan to complete the repair on time is disappointing. Poor business practices. Glad it wasn't too far along in the disassembly process! read more

I had taken my car to get aligned I had bought the lifetime alignment for $208 I pick it up didn't look like they did much I look at the paper work as shown in the picture before and after adjustments and they didn't even touch the car when I paid to get it aligned and they call me and tell me it's ready for pick up that they had got it all aligned and ready. So I go back in asking why they didn't align the car they say the tech isn't there they will give us a call back to give us an explanation! I say okay and just get my refund of $194 wait I said it costed $208 I go back in she says that the $14 is for shop materials so I say okay and go on. I get the call back from them and they say that the reason they didn't align it is because the front lower control arm bushing was loose so I tell them these are my rear tires that are wore like this there is no reason they couldn't align the rear! As shown in the before and after they didn't even attempt to adjust the front or rear! After that I state I had gone to a different Firestone the said they would have gave me a huge discount for some tires for that happening and they tell me well we can't give you a discount on anytime because WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO THE CAR!!! BUT THEY CHARGED ME AND TOLD ME MU CAR WAS DONE AND READY TO BE PICKED UP?! It doesn't make any sense at all! read more

Very good experience today there was a problem with the oil pan in pulling out the plug it got stripped by FS "Mistakes can be made" so a new oil pan is needed and they're doing it for no charge . Being in customer service this location provided the best ,since it wasn't my fault. They wanted to accommodate with a ride since I had a important appointment but u had that take care of. I was shocked but optimistic when BF consumer relations contacted me on here and appeared genuinely interested in resolving my complaint. They asked for my visit details, which I emailed. Then they said they would open a complaint and would call me on the phone for details of my visit. Well, that never happened. No phone calls, no further emails. As expected they had no follow through. I don't think they really care about their customers. They just wanted to make a token post on Yelp to make it appear that they were actually concerned with their customers' concerns. I would change my rating to negative stars if possible. read more

I've been going to Firestone for years and the service has always been hit or miss. However, the service at this Firestone location has significantly declined to the point that I do not even trust them anymore. During a recent trip, the mechanic did not put the parts on the brake system correctly and damaged the new rotors causing us to lose the use of the car an additional day. A senior mechanic had to come in the next day to fix the work the first mechanic had erroneously done, and they had to replace the brand new rotors that had been put on the day before. Not long after that repair, the car needed an oil change (which they had given to us free for the inconvenience of the previous trip). My son asked them to change the oil, rotate the tires, and check the alignment. ***Please note, per Justin at Firestone - they WILL NOT rotate the tires or check the alignment if you do not request it, even though it is part of the deal!!!*** They told my son that they could not do an alignment because he needed to replace the tie rods. Because of our experiences with this location, we decided to take the car to Quanz for a second opinion. We have primarily used Quanz for insurance repairs, and they have always done impeccable work. The Quanz mechanic said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the tie rods, that they could perform the alignment, and they did so. The struts on this car do need to be replaced, which can affect the alignment, however that is not what has caused me to write this review. This review is based on the dishonestly about the tie rods and the unsafe and shoddy work performed by their mechanic. By the way, Firestone quoted over $1300 to replace the struts. Quanz quoted $700. Buyer beware!!! This Firestone location is dishonest and does it's level best to take advantage of it's customers. read more

My wife took our car in for an oil change. They told her the left rear tire had a nail in it and it was *not* repairable. So on a Sunday evening, in the cold, in the dark, on the driveway I pulled off the tire. I'm old, medical problems, back problems, but she's a case worker for those that are developmentally delayed (MR, Autism etc.) and has meetings all day all over the metro area so I wanted to fix it. Busting knuckles, half a can of WD-40, get the tire off and......no nail. No nail anywhere. So, that begs the question, are they shady and trying to take advantage of a female by trying to sell her tires she doesn't need? Or are they just incompetent? Either way, its not the way you want to spend a Sunday evening, and its no way to treat customers. (Edited update 11/16/2015) I took the car back and a guy named Mark (I believe?) addressed my concerns....which is appreciated. This still cost me a certain amount of my time, and I would ad that the corporate customer service e-mail was a 100 percent waste of time and energy. Totally unhappy with our experience at this location! My husband took his 350Z in for battery change. 3 months later (we only noticed it then because we hardly drive that car) the car wouldnt start. My husband went under the hood to jump start the vehicle, only to discover that the battery cable was loose, the battery bracket was loose, and there were missing pieces. He then took it down to Firestone and spoke to the General Manager, Martin. Martin was very rude and basically offered no form of apology or empathy at all.....He reached his hand under the hood, hand tightened the battery, and told my husband that he will have to bring it back another time. So....I guess we are out of luck until my husband can be inconvenienced for a 3rd time to get this problem rectified! Unacceptable Firestone! We have faithfully taken 2 of our vehicles to you since we moved here, but no more! We are thinking that Goodyear may be a better solution! read more

This place scams people, especially the elderly people. They broke a part on my vehicle and tried saying that it was like that and the last people who worked on my vehicle must have done it. I immediately took the vehicle to the dealership which was the last people who worked on it. I drove over there and they immediately lifted up my vehicle with me present to see what Firestone was telling me and low and behold there was fresh putty on my vehicle. Additionally they tried selling me tires they said I needed. I had just purchased them a year ago and the dealership said my tires were fine. They lie to people . BEWARE they are liars and they scam people. I usually go to Discount Tire and I regret going there. I just didn't have money and had a credit card from Firestone. Not an honest business. Had an Oil leak, it was my fault I should have done some research into firestone before taking my truck there. They charged $40 to just to assess the leak. The then charged me another $700 plus tax to fix the leaks which where two gaskets. The $40 dollars was not even rolled into this ridiculous price. The price for the parts was about $140 and then charged $115 per hour to work on my truck. They stated it took close to 5 hours to complete this. If I had the tools to fix it, I would have done myself, which is the only reason I took it in. But I know it doesn't take 5 hours to replace two gaskets. There was a lot of oil on the underside of the engine which I requested that they clean off pretty well. I went to pick up my truck and inspect it and there was still a ton of oil and grit everywhere. The mechanic proceeded to tell me that they are not a "car wash" and that they wouldn't clean it off. I said for almost $800 they need to do a better job than what they did, which was basically spray it with a hose. He did nothing. I then looked at by receipt and they charged me for a NEW oil filter and oil change, which I expected, so I went to look at my filter, and my OLD filter was still on there! They were trying to charge me $$$ for things they didn't even do!! I made him go get me a new filter and told him I would put it on myself. This is called FRAUD my friends......I hope my problem is fixed because I will NEVER go back to a Firestone in my life. I do not expect anything to be done about this, but writing this review for future people looking to come here. I would find some place else. There is a PEP Boys right across the street. Maybe they will be more honest and respectable. read more
