I prefer to give my business to local companies. However, I gave Jiffy Lube a try for an emissions test this week since it was in route to MVD on Ellison. It was easy! I pulled up, they directed me to the lobby, and I enjoyed some popcorn as they did and an emission test. They had many employees walking around. Who knows how experienced they are. I wouldn't trust them with anything further than an emission test without a reference, because I have heard a number of horror stories of people getting work done here. Not this specific location but in general. Almost $40 for an emission test is on the higher side but I had a mail coupon I got to use :) read more

This place is my favorite place to go for oil changes and work on my vehicle. Everybody is very knowledgeable. I've had them work on my truck suspension, engine, brakes, replace the radiator and many other things. The mechanics are professional. The prices are very competitive. read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION. My husband took my vehicle here for an oil change and AC recharge. The incompetence of those providing the service is almost unbelievable. The AC recharge was not done correctly and was blowing hot air. I took my vehicle back in and they had to redo things correctly. I was told repeatedly that no one had made a mistake. Phil and Tony both told me "these things just happen." And, "my wife and kids bring their vehicles here." As though that was supposed to make be trust the service provided. The next morning I noticed that my car was making a horrible rumbling sound. I checked what I could and found a HUGE (about 10 inches) crack in the engine cover. I also opened the glove box to see what was rattling and both covers for the cabin air filter were just laying in the glove box. I decided to take my car into the Acura service department and the technician noted the following in my invoice: "Found the engine cover hitting the fuse box above the engine. Also found the intake air box screws loose. Lifted the vehicle up and found the under engine cover loose and missing two fasteners. Also found oil leaks from the oil drain plug and the oil filter." It is absolutely wild to me that Jiffy lube cannot even perform an oil change correctly. Or check an engine air filter without breaking something. I paid the Acura service department to perform a new oil change (with the correct filter and correctly installed plug), parts and labor for a new engine cover, and of course a diagnostic fee. $413 later, my car looks and runs like it did before we ever took it in to Jiffy Lube. I made the mistake of buying the Jiffy Lube coupon. Do not buy these. They are not sold by the individual Jiffy Lubes. Oil change was fine and done rapidly. The person on duty was very good. No complaints about that but I should've been refunded about eight dollars as had been done at a previous Jiffy Lube. On top of that they charged me an additional five dollars so a total of $14 more for this coupon overall than the previous one. They don't have their act together with these coupons. The previous place treated me correctly. This one did not and they didn't give a damn about getting it done correctly, ethically. Very indifferent. They otherwise do a decent job with the oil changes, but ethics is not their business. As long as the mistake works in their favor, they are fine with it. I do not recommend the oil change coupons that you can buy online. I do not recommend the management at this particular Jiffy Lube. I will have the next one done at the previous place because I have one more to go and they understood how it was supposed to work and made sure I was treated fairly. read more

July 2022. BE AWARE! Think twice before you take your vehicle here to this location. I took my Audi vehicle to have a front & rear brake assessment at this location! (Note: I am very meticulous regarding my vehicles.) Waiting over an hour for the assessment to be completed. Employee stated they could do the brakes but payment is due upfront. I did state I found it unusual because payment is usually due when services are completed. Anyhow, I paid upfront for the service almost $1000.00. Considering the breaks had not been done! Technician "employee's" stated it would only be a few hours or less and they would call me when my vehicle was ready. I never received a call stating my vehicle was ready! Approximately five hours later I had to call and check on my vehicle! Employee said "yeah your vehicle is ready." Furthermore...On arrival I was told only the front brakes were done. They did not have the parts but needed to be ordered for the rear possibly taking up to several weeks. I advised tech's I will bring back my vehicle when they received the parts to complete the job. As I was viewing my car parked over to the side. I noticed three "3" of my Audi caps were missing off my vehicle rims! I asked one of the technicians "where are my Audi caps? because 3 of them are missing." Employee stated "where they even on there?" I replied "yes, obviously someone only put 1 cap back on that I viewed." I had to ask employees to please find my 3 missing caps before I left. Several employees looking around the messy disorganized garage area then telling they could not find the missing 3 caps! The caps were thrown everywhere taking about 30 minutes to find eventually. One of the tech's was trying to pop the cap by hitting it! I advised him to stop, not hit the cap because he was going to break it and he needed a special tool to place them back on (which I provided from my Audi tools.) I also ask him to find someone else that knows how to put them back on properly. The next morning not feeling confident regarding the services and situation I looked over my vehicle & tools to make sure everything correct. My trunk was left completely disorderly by the Jiffy Lube technicians/employees. Very messy and everything was left open and un-tact! The tools were just thrown in my vehicle not placed back in the proper slots for the tools, lid was still up smashed down by vehicle trunk they closed on it! I realized had 3 missing tools! I then immediately called advising supervisor/manager. His attitude was terrible, he was completely irritated that Im advising him about the situation. He said just bring the car back and we will fix the back trunk! I told him I would be back the following morning. The very next morning I took my vehicle back! Physically showing him the mess along with the missing tools that were not placed back in my vehicle. I literally verbally asked him to please go look in the garage to try to find my tools. He searched the garage finally found only 1 of my tools. I asked him then where are my other tools? (Note: The only way one can remove the tires/rims are with the tools that technicians used when doing the breaks.) The supervisor stated he didn't know and that they would try to find the tools! He was not concerned at all that he could not find them and that they were not placed back in my Audi after they used them! I asked him when my tools are found to please contact me as soon as possible. Despite my complete frustration due to all of this situation! I was polite and said thank you! Advising supervisor I would be getting back to them. These supervisors, employees and technicians had absolutely zero and no consideration, respect for my vehicle and property or me as customer. No concern that the employees lost, misplaced or kept the tools. I literally spent many hours/days and phone calls sending pictures of my trunk and missing tools to get my possessions returned back! I decided I needed to contact corporate to advise them. When I called this location supervisors would give me a hard time. Saying he could resolve it! I told him no! I only needed corporates telephone number! I wanted a full refund regarding the unpaid services. I requested him expedite this because he said they would mail me a check in a few weeksnot want a refund sent to me in theNeedless to say four months later I finally was able to have a district manager replace my missing tools. Talk about complete frustration on every level trying to deal with Jiffy lube and these employees. I was able to prove everything as stated. I advise District Manager I did not want any more services from JL because I did not trust The work would be done properly and safely at this point. Employees were very rude and disrespectful to the fact that they are the ones that made these mistakes. Very unprofessional! I do not and will not ever recommend this Jiffy lube location to anyone. I used them multiple times with my previous vehicle and everything was great. Today, I came in with new vehicle that I bought for an oil change. I was up saled for a tire rotation. I drove a way and my abs light came on. I turn car off and restarted it and it did it again. Went back to store. Then I was told that I had two different size tires and the only way to fix was to put tires back or buy two new tires. Now I am out $25.00. My wife took my truck in to get serviced here. They supposedly changed my oil, air filter, and topped off my coolant all for $180! I checked today and my coolant was never touched. it's below the minimum and now my truck is leaking oil from the drain plug and this is a newer truck with less than 55k miles. i never had a leak before then. I checked the oil and the levels look normal although I don't trust them. Rather than risk it I'll be changing the oil again myself and I suggest you do the same or at least take your business else where. read more

I always use Jiffy Lube for my oil changes because they are fast and not too expensive if you know where to get really good discount coupons online. They even clean your windows for you free if they are not too busy They are always really fast and friendly. I love the waiting area with free popcorn and soda while you wait for your car to finish being worked on. read more

I took my car to jiffy lube on coors and sequoia on Thursday for a oil change they told me when i asked them if thay have to remove the skid plate to do a oil change and they said yes i left around 230 drove the car home did not drive it any were else lift to las cruces on Friday afternoon got past t or c and started hearing a thumping noise a could smell rubber i pulled over and looked under the car and the skid plate was dragging i pulled the skid plate out and got back on the road i got to our hotel and opened the hood and noticed a bunch of hard melted plastic around the two front tires then I noticed the two front wheel wells were damaged i called jiffy lube on Monday they told me to bring the car in so they could look at it the acting Manger looked at it and tryed to call the manager but she would not answer i got a hold of her this morning she asked me to bring it in so she could look at it so the out come was they were not going to fix it because she said that I hit a tire and that's what caused the problem I know for a fact that I did hit anything and I can't even make an insurance clam because I didn't hit anything I would not recommend jiffy lube to anyone because thay don't stand by ther customers satisfaction guarantee or ther guarantee quality service also they didn't reset my service light on my vehicle all that tells me is that they are negligent and In a hurry to get there customers out my family and I will never use there service again and I hope you don't either read more

We usually have the oil changed at Valvoline but took advantage of a Jiffy Lube coupon. Weeks after the oil change we needed power steering fluid topped off. It takes about four minutes. I was told it would be a twenty minute wait. I understand "first come/first served", but we've never had to wait long just to get fluids topped off at Valvoline. Someone would just bring a container out, pop the hood, check the level, and top it off. So much for repeat business. read more

Please do not use these guys for other then an oil change and only as a last resort. Obviously they want to upgrade their product offering when your in there. Many times I witnessed their fear tactics with customers including myself. I have a fleet vehicle which I was going to put new tires at Discount tire but I was surprised several months ago when they said they do it. Well not only did they automatically authorize and assume I wanted them to do it they already got approval from fleet despite my better judgement that this was going to turn out bad. I had two go back two days later to have them installed when they led me to believe it would happen right then and there. Subsequently, I had to go back three times just for the tire sensor problems. Then about 3 months later my tire started losing air pressure and leaking. They told me I did not have a warranty from my fleet and they would have to charge me to find the leak which again would have been another three hours. So as my tire was only half full with air I asked him can you just put air in it and I will come back at a later time as I have already invested so much time in these tires they have put on. The manager, Tony believe said, well it will be another 35 minutes. He has seen me there for years and tremendous business I have pumped into that location and was well aware of the hassle I have been through with tires you think he would have just had a guy put air in the one tire quickly so I could drive away safely. How long would that have taken? Very Very poor customer service and judgement on his part. I will never ever go back to Jiffy Lube even if the CEO contacted me. This place is a sham and should be investigated. Please do not go to this place find another oil change outfit and for god sakes don't let them do anything else as they are not competent or set up to do it well. read more

Disappointing. Was hoping for the standard, $35, 15-20 minute oil change. After 40 minutes I realized my car hadn't even been moved into the garage yet, and the guy said it would be another 1/2 hour before it was done. The price of about $50 for the most basic oil and filter service seems excessive. Cheap oil change "in a jiffy," isn't that the point of this place? To be fair, everyone was very nice, and they offer free coffee and soda while you wait. However, they do the classic air filter removal to try to show you how dirty it is and make a little more money, and I can't help but wonder how much time that adds. They had a large staff working, so it seemed odd how long it took...the manager did apologize so maybe it was a bad day. Can't say that I'll be returning though. read more
