The food was delicious and there was something for everyone - including gluten free options. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and they did everything they could to make us comfortable during our loss. We ordered delivery through one of the apps. Easy to order and the pizza came quickly. We got sausage and penne all vodka. Both were really good. Most pizza places don't put pasta on pizza anymore because most times it gets too hard if not cooked correctly. The vodka sauce was very good and the pasta not crunchy. read more

Must be under new management I did not recognize the staff. I ordered food at 9:20 and was back at 9:33 and they were closed. I had to go get gas before they close at 10. They told me OK. I came back in 13 minutes coordinating my GPS and all lights are off and they're closed and they kept my money There's allegedly open until 10 as they have been I've been a loyal customer. I live four houses down and becoming here for more than 20 years and to be treated with this rudeness and unprofessionalism they lost a loyal customer. Beware, I'm almost grateful I did not get the food because I might've been different than I'm used to. If there was less than one star they would get it for this experience now it's too late to get food to go anywhere as everything closes at 10 like they are supposed to and always have 933 lights out. read more

First time trying Mangia Mangia I will for sure order from them again. We order an appetizer buffalo chicken wings these wings are big! A fair amount of places maybe because of supply chain issues have had small wings lately. My dinner was the fettuccine bolognese I am all congested so I could not get the full flavor but what I could taste was yummy. My meal came with a small side salad and house dressing. This time it was overcooked, which resulted in tough shrimp and mussels that were stuck into the shells. Not many seasonings, either. Appetizers took over 45 mins to receive, and were all served to different people at different times. The chicken was anemic and flavorless. The bruschetta was laughable(see pics), and the cheese pizza took over 94 mins to receive after ordering in a place that had only one other couple on it! They have switched to a cheap cheese that doesn't melt, tonight's mozzarella sticks were hollow and the spinach calzone had disgusting brown frozen spinach. Their service is always slow. Let me start with the positives. Place has nice combination of pizza/dine-in set up. Atmosphere was pleasant. Manager and server were appropriately friendly and attentive. Bread was warm and fresh. We started with the clams and butter which was just mediocre. My wife ordered baked ziti, which was sizable and tasty. My chicken franchese was absolutely delicious but I felt a bit small of a portion for $20. We shared the coppa mascarpone dessert and found it to be a little dry. The bill came to $85 including tip which I felt was a bit pricey for a 2 drinks, 1 appetizer 1 meal which was all pasta and the other small, and a dessert. This family owned restaurant is a sweet little place in Brookfield, but their pizza is lackluster. Pros: family staff, quick orders, and reasonable prices. Cons: pizza is tough and often overcooked. I've purchased pizza twice from Mangia Mangia, both times as carry out. Tip: remember the number they give you after you order! There are no receipts or totals given after you order. The current deal is two large cheese pizzas for $19.95. You can add toppings for a few more dollars each. Definitely enough for 4-6 people, and very filling. The pizzas are good, but the dough is too chewy and often overcooked. I mean like bungee-cord tough. Often burnt and miserable. The gourmet pizza we ordered came with pesto, chicken and ricotta. Despite that beautiful trio, the pizza cost $19 and lacked flavor and freshness. Truly disappointing. Stick to the cheese and maybe pepperoni. If possible, ask them to take your pizza out of the oven a few minutes before their normal cook time. This restaurant will do for a local pizzeria when you just don't feel like cooking. I recently lost my mother. She and my dad had dinner at Mangia Mangia just two weeks before she passed. They both loved the place! My dad asked me to look into having a gathering there after her funeral. I was welcomed with open arms by the staff from the very beginning. Manuel and Evelyn you are wonderful and the food was fabulous! Jose and Daisy run a beautiful restaurant. I would recommend this place to everyone for any occasion or for just a night out for a good meal. I want to thank the whole staff for helping make the difficult time much easier for my whole family. Yes folks, back in the day we had it all over here- Gas Station, The Little Store (Lakeshore Deli) which had an ice cream shop inside!, a movie rental spot, a salon, a liquor store, 2 bars (still there), inadequate snowplowing, The only neighborhoods with scheduled ice cream man service AND an annual tag sale. There was no need risking our lives "going down North Mountain" to get anything (unless we needed to go to Craft Basket (woah woah woah) or Caldor) Nevertheless, the food here is really damn good and the pizza I think, although its highly variable and depends on the pizzaiolo, is the best in town. By far the best pizza in the area. We have been coming to this location before they changed to the new current owners. It was always good but now even better with great customer service. We moved further away and were unsure if they would deliver, they said they usually wouldn't that far but made an exception this time which was much appreciated as I was sick at home. The cheese pizza was cheesy with fresh tasting sauce, perfect NY style. The penne vodka pasta was one of best vodka sauces I've had, which I never expect from a pizza shop. This little gem was a nice experience. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Evelyn was our server and was very friendly. We ordered a Stromboli which was delicious. My two friends and I were starving so I yelped nearby restaurants. Mangia Mangia popped up and I am so so glad it did. I haven't had Italian food this good since I was last in Italy. I've been to Italy 3 times and each time I get back to the USA I'm sad because I know I won't have a meal similar until I get back on an airplane.
